Getting this car real soon. Was thinking of trading my 6speed Scat Pack for it but I love my Scat too much. Ima just get my credit and money up and get both. Great video
The automatics are faster in a straight line but where is the fun in just aiming a car and hitting the gas when you can actually be a part of it... The extra control that driving a manual gives you would probably be a benefit over the auto on the twisty roads . What do you think ?
I love my six speed, I have a merged xpipe and Flowmasters super 10s where the mid mufflers were and resonators deleted with a cold air intake and it sounds beautiful ! Another great video !!!
I 💯 agree with driving a manual in traffic vs an auto. All of my cars with the exception of my fj cruiser and mk7 gti were manual. I actually prefer the manual in traffic because I'm never in the wrong gear and I don't have to wait for the auto to shift down. With a manual i can slice through traffic more instinctively. Yes my mk7 dual clutch can has paddle shifter and I can "click" down to the desired gear but it will not hold the gear very long and will try to shift from my desired gear all the way to 6th gear to save gas. Unless of course I move the gear selector over to "manual" mode but then I'm constantly clicking through gears which is not as fun or engaging as a manual
I had auto 392 challenger.. loved it. Paddle shifters were fun for a while, but just kinda felt fake, use to manuel trans in all my fast cars. Traded in for a Hellcat 6spd. So much better. Can feel and control wheel spin, feel the power in every gear, can really feel the whole car alot better. Not to mention its fun playing with the throttle and winding the gears out a bit and shifting slow to hear it. Plus no MDS in 6spd cars, so none of that annoying sound when its in eco mode. Plus where can you get a 6spd 707hp car with a warranty lol
Dude had a m6 2016 hellcat. It was good just did not feel that fast. I have heard the A8 is a totally different experience and feels much faster (put u back in seat) than the M6. Do you find this to be the case? I’m in a c7 z51 M7 right now and am thinking of trading back into a hellcat.
If this video is talking a lot how enjoyable it is to have a manual Hellcat, then why in the world do you have an automatic Hellcat!!?? Why would you ever buy a sports car with an alot of horsepower and choose an auto tranny? That's like a cardinal sin to me, having a sports car with an automatic, unless you have no option for it, with a certain car you've always wanted. I might only have 250ish to the front wheels, but I adore my 6 speed gen 2 Mazdaspeed 3. I'm just curious overall?
I have other manual cars that I LOVE to drive. With the hellcat though, I had to choose auto. The 6 speed to me didn't feel 700 hp, now the auto is a different story, always felt in the power ban. Man do I love Manual but just not in this car for some reason
Awesome Dave《☆》It is fun to be able to push in the clutch & rev it or just rev match each gear. I was subbed to Misa but unsubbed so I'll give Rigo a try ☻
God I love camocat!
I agree it’s just more engaging to drive a manual
Automac yes!

Cool video. Agree 100%. If you buy a muscle car, a 6 speed Tremec should be the first choice..That's what I have in my 2018 Challenge 392!

I’ve had my Hellcat 6 speed since July, it’s been in the shop of those. Every other day something goes, when I do drive it though, it’s a blast.

Mwilson4040 yes it is true I had one
How is the stock clutch peddle on a Hellcat? I hear it's real stiff for a daily driver.
You’ll probably get used to it, you can’t have a normal clutch for a beast like a hellcat😎
Great video buddy👍
Chad Pittman thanks Chad!
David Van Voris
Sweet ride. Rigo is lucky to have a friend like you. Just don't tell him I said that lol.😂
Dan the Mopar Man haha ok the luckiest to have a friend like dave! I just wish he’d take it easy on the clutch
