  • In this video, I answer some common questions people have about the TV before they buy. I have had The Frame TV for over 2 years now. Don't make a mistake and get the wrong version of The Frame TV. At CES they just announced The Frame 2022 and it has some killer features you don't want to miss out on if you have the budget for it.
I have purchased The Frame 2020 version. The Frame 2021 version is about half as thin. The Frame 2022 version has this awesome new matte finish that may be a reason to buy!
Some product links are affiliate links which means if you buy something I will receive a small commission.

    I have a newly purchased 2022 50 inch.
Easy to install and operate. Art mode works flawlessly, Matte finish does not effect picture quality but does enhance art. Operating system is very quick with no lag. Where the tv falls short for me is the sound, it’s just horrendous and lacks any depth, I wasn’t expecting much but even this surprised me.
The other is the motion sensor. Art doesn’t come on instantly like one would think on high sensitivity.
Sometimes art doesn’t shut off as it’s set to as well.
I find the system very buggy and unreliable.
Overall I’m happy with my purchase, can’t say enough about the art mode,
    I really enjoy it.

Hey Greyhound this is a super helpful comment. Thanks for sharing your knowledge on the new 2022 tv!

My motion sensor wasn’t working at all, Samsung no picked it up for repair and after 3 weeks I received it today. Apparently they had to replace some parts. Let’s see if it works now. So far the tv turns off but not sure if it turns on automatically, so frustrating as we bought it for this feature!!! That’s the 2022 matte version

      @@sistatcy Hi Mango Delight,
Guess I should have updated my original comments.
After my initial comments I started having trouble with the dimming feature, as well as the motion. It was dimming and not brightening up.
At this point I was kinda fed up and called to initiate a return or replacement.
Samsung sent me out a replacement ensuring me it’s not a common problem ( not sure if I believe that) .
I have to say the new one has worked 99% of the time as it’s intended to do.
I’ve always been a Sony owner and NEVER had any quality problems with Sony.
I jumped on the Samsung band wagon because of the frame features and everyone seems to be buying them and I’m assuming likes them.
I have to say I’m not impressed at all. I like the features but quality is no where near what I expected.
I should note that I also bought a sound bar to go along with the tv, it’s also very buggy and fickle.
It’s for my bedroom so I’m ok with everything, if it were my main viewing set I wouldn’t be.

Maybe I’m not clever. But I’ve got the Frame TV, I subscribed to Samsung’s art store 🖼 but the tv displays only a few pieces of art switching itself off. Can’t seem to modify that no matter what I do. Why’d I buy this thing???

Sir pls i am trying to make a decision, could u pls share any tips if i want to run the wore through the wall? any safety tips or precautions? and what are the ways i can pass it through? is a conduit enough?

    • @SavedByZero
      @SavedByZero 2 года назад

As BB suggests, if you opt to purchase a Frame it would be wise to first determine if the "invisible" cable meets your needs. If it does, it eliminates a lot of unnecessary headache and added expense.
If you elect to hide the cable in the wall, I would suggest checking your local safety codes or consulting with an electrician. Fire-rated conduit is available to route the cable and you can also use a media box to house the One Connect device.
One thing you won't likely be able to do anywhere is to drop the bundled cable inside the wall as it carries electricity to power the display.

I think you’d be ok, I went into the settings and it allowed my chromecast remote to work with the Tv. I’m not sure 100% but I’d assume you would be able to do that in the settings!

In tv mode it’s more than large enough to see from bed.

The max brightness in art mode is less than when you use your tv. It should still be plenty bright though. When you change the brightness settings do you like how bright it is then?

My name is Chris, years ago I partnered with NFL Player Gary Barnidge to develop "TeleFrame". It's a smart, designer, frame that has specially arranged speakers, a surge protector, webcam & voice activated smart home tech (Alexa). We pitched our patented product to BOTH Samsung & Amazon. We got positive responses from Amazon... now we see this frame from Samsung & Amazon, I feel cheated.
