I love being the support player. It doesnt matter if i dont get kills, but i love the fact that i get to be the master of Utilities so my other mates are able to feel at ease while they are playing.
I don't know what category/role this falls under, but what I started doing is just rushing with just a Fragile for aim practice. I try to go behind enemy lines and get them from behind
My role is entry fragger. However there's a twist. Whenever i play AWP i usually have the role called the donator. I buy the awp rush enemy team (since I'm used to entry fragger) then i kindly donate the awp and a flash to the enemy team (as i die)
To all my fellow awpers out there, dont get discouraged when ur doing poorly in a game, just keep practicing and practicing and never stop playing it, doesnt mean play it every round, learn ur rifles but never give up, keep practicing and youll reach a point where u can solo defend a site and get nutty peeks, good luck.
I fill in a diff version of an entry-fragger. My job isn't always to take the first kill and help secure the bombsite. Majority of the time, I'm the guy that pushes through and deep into their line. If I encounter an enemy, i kill him; if I dont, i keep pushing. Naturally this places more stress on the 2nd guy in the push, but I always have a specific teammate for the 2nd man role who knows how i play entry. At least now, he has the info of all CT defenders in that bombsite since I'm the one they'll try to shoot at first. Im basically a human decoy grenade. One small upside to my role is that I now have a head start in hunting enemies trying to save
I prefer these setups: Two anchors, they save and buy for others. They camp on sites with eco gun and max utility. Lurker, buy fast killing weapons and ties to go behind the enemy lines. AWP:er buys or gets AWP everytime he/she can. Usually goes mid for max kills. Fragger goes first and tries to buy everything it can and secure the first kill. Anchors will turn to supports/bomb holders on T side.
As a 300hours MG player i do suggest my teammates when to go and where to hold and throw flash molo, smoke for them and make strategies and calls try to bait other site with smoke and flashes so regroup and if i had a front spawn i go for early mid sniping and always care about teammates money and drops if he is not available to get enough utilities
@@cheburekmaker2973 Dont forget that an Awper needs to be good at rifling too, sure its alright being bad at Awping but to practice inside of a Competetive match is basically throwing.
L1fey yeah I usually tell them to stop buying the awp your missing all your shots in a nice way and tell them they can get more kills and help the team if they use an ak but they tell me I’m practicing and to shut up and I just say there’s awps server for a reason and casual
I'm in the gn ranks with my friends, and I love being the igl. It's so satisfying to see your plans going to fruition after a successful round. I admit, I don't have the best aim. I prefer the stress of coming up with a new tactic rather than getting stuck in a 1v2 situation. So, even though my csgo journey has just started, I want to list down all the things I have learnt as an igl. 1) call the right things at the right time. I have gone into situations where I either I called a push too late or worried about something too early, like checking markets in mirage when not even half the team is already in the site. I usually get better with this overtime as I get more experience. 2)Economy. As a Chinese, I'm labelled as a guy who does maths at a fast rate, and I guess I live up to that. Watch videos about economy, like least amount of money for force buys and predicting your opponents economy. Its all important to advice this to your team and make sure u have strats to counter them too. 3)keeping your cool. I want the absolute greatest way to win. But keeping your cool helps to keep the team's cool. When I'm in my quarantine mode, I act rash and take my mind of with strats and lose the easiest battles. That is the main thing I'm working on at the moment. If you die early on a round, rethink your decisions, accepting it and moving on. There is no point ranting about it with your teammates when they need u.
Awpers also need to be smart, wasn’t highlighted in the video, positioning, timings and decisions are vital to awping. Watched EG played throughout this EPL season, and Cerq, their awper is the flashy risky type player, and although you see him often going big, he costs a lot of rounds even when he gets a multi kill.
personally i would say i play on a playmaker/support switch, ive gotten a ton of 1v3 clutches lately, and im usually being that one guy to flash mirage b perfectly so your entry can get the guy at bench/short and then planting the bomb to kill everyone in kitchen. And togheter with basically knowing all smgs in and out means i usally have a big chunk of change to spend on teammates once we're in a win streak.
Usually i am the support or the anchor or both. My stats are trash in terms of kills, but i am there : behind the scenes throwing those flashes, smokes and molotovs to help win the round.
Im actually an AWPer and support combined i flash and smoke and throw molotoves and if that doesnt work my awp will and also when i die i become the igl i tell strats and where to rotate and go to hold angles but they wont listen tho heres my story when i entry fragged one guy with a ak i died si i immediately told them to stay there for 10 seconds (btw T side) so they will think that they rotated then they will go to the site and plant while the ct are at the other but they just wont listen i think i have 4 or 5 roles ngl because im also a lurker with an awp and ak

Ps if your stuck in silver never save and just go for it every round tell you get to a point where you are 100% comfortable with other people watching you play, after a while you will never choke again
I always like to play games that are all about hiding and getting from behind the enemies, when I started to play CS:GO I was playing Entry-Fragger role I was really bad with my aim and movement but by the time I figure it out that I am more like Lurker and Anchor player so I wish I can be better at that kind of playing.
I’m an anchor who’s wields the scoped automatic rifles(AUG, SCAR-20 and the T counterparts) excellently and good with pistols too. But AWP is my weakness, both handling the weapon and handling Awpers. Any advice?
Csgo is a really good game when it gets to planning. Teamwork is the key even though you suck at everything you can support them by easily crouching for your friends to boost. But if you are one of the players who really suck like I meant a player who has no idea what to do but to run and gun its your responsibility to improve, we all went to this process. Crosshair placement, Improving peek duels, recoil control, reflexes, and reaction time if you're a awper. For you to be a good gamer you also need to play smart. Memorizing the map, knowing how to be calm in a very stressful situation and also someone who can be trustworthy.
I've played CSGO for a long time, with a long break to (3-4 years), I used to prefer playing as the entry fragger, but my friends always suggest to play as the playmaker since I rarely failed any clutch situation (3v1 or less). I used to be in LEM, now I'm at Gold Nova 2 since I've played a lot of LoL in the past, but the grind is back for me and I will hit Global Elite once.
I like it when i call on Inferno that both cts used their smokes on b and we should group up in Banana to Execute. But then I remember that valuable information has to be ignored so i just Follow my Team into a
I often perform as a t side flanker and as a CT leader. I've often heard calls from team to rotate, but when I ask if they saw the bomb, they say no, then I'm just saying to hold positions. I'm in soloQ. If I say to rotate, team usually does rotate. I don't say who should do what tho. I just speak to team as one unit.
During cs 1.3, 1.5 these were called as ROLES. During CS 1.6 these became Hybrid and Situational . where you switch roles as per Need During CS Go we evolved - now we play as per Luck, Situation. Something more than hybrid. If you are doing great - Entry Frag, AwP, go for kills ; but if you are not doing well then Support. So now while selecting a Team Member, we check if he sticks to One role or he is ready to switch when its just not his day.
The anti-lurker bias is strong with this one. But seriously, I'd argue a lurker on T is about as important as an anchor on CT. Having a guy to tell you where the enemy is rotating, put down some smokes and molotovs to keep the CT from taking their positions and maybe take out one of their team members will secure the round in 7/10 cases. Too bad having a trigger happy team that rushes into site as soon as they can pretty much invalidates the lurker's usefulness. Seriously, whenever my team gets stomped it's because of some first entry going in without any flashes or smokes to cover them and then they proceed to flame the lurker for not joining their little suicidal plan. And it gets even worse when the leader is on the same page.
Feel like roles changes with maps. For me atleast. Support in Dust 2, Lurker and anchor in Mirage, Entry in Inferno. Playmaker in Nuke and train. IGL in T Sides on Mirage, Train, Inferno and Nuke.
I am lurker/anchor. If there are enemies beside me, my fps drop, and after making calculations i can always tell the exact number of enemies beside and hardly ever though even their equipment. Having a bad pc sometimes have its advantages
I was familiar with all of these roles except the playmaker, which is ironic because that's what I currently do on my squad. I always enter second and I throw multiple nades to make it easier to lock down a site once we have it. I also aggresivly search for CT's that are rotating.

Blue (me): support
Purple: Entry fragger
Yellow: IGL
Orange: second line of attack after the entry fragger
Green: awper also one of my roles
Wtf I main green and awp. And I stg ducking yellow is always telling me what to do. Wtf
That’s my team right there

You guys are so good and proffesional i love your videos they are very helpful ❤️
Btw this channel deserves a lot more subs
You forgot “the silver”. The player that plays so badly that the enemy team dies laughing. That’s been my role since forever.
In polish "a lurker" means a person who sits in front of a computer watching sites with memes for his whole life
Im the "The guy who gets one tapped"
To all my fellow awpers out there, dont get discouraged when ur doing poorly in a game, just keep practicing and practicing and never stop playing it, doesnt mean play it every round, learn ur rifles but never give up, keep practicing and youll reach a point where u can solo defend a site and get nutty peeks, good luck.
You could add this: The support is the 2nd entry fragger, and usually a guy who knows exactly how the entry fragger thinks
yes. me and a squadmate do abit of both. sometimes he goes first, sometimes me.
we sorta support each other if needed.
What is than Play Maker?
I would want to learn more about the Lurker-role!
"Wingman" works nice too..
You go with the AWPer and start spraying, when he misses.
In Silver I was always support/IGL because I couldn’t actually get the kills but I can throw really good nades, smokes, molis, and flashes.

These videos of yours are so sick in editing!
My role is basically : *hey I’m just gonna eco the whole round*
In every game when I ask the roles
Me:so what roles do you want to play
All: AWP
Title, exists: What role should you play in csgo?
Video: WhAT DiD YoU ThInK WE MeAnT?
I play the bottom fragger role, I take pride in what I do and quite frankly I’m very good at it
You forgot the “I have $10000 but im not donating” guy
1.5 speed sounds like normal talk
9:31 He says "and react " and the CT at the left moves
You forgot the "dead coach". He makes one kill and dies in first 10 seconds of the game. Next he will gave you orders on voice chat in russian.
Im a shittier version of the Entry Fragger. I just run in, and try to kill everyone.
"I have more kills so Im better" thats the type of clueless people you forgot
And the kicker
I have my own role:
"Being absolute idiot, and act like a pro"
You forgot the "Coldzera"! The one that jump noscopes 5 players at b bomb site on mirage.
“Nobody wants to be a support”
Someone : **gets max money and mvp**
Teammate : drop?
Someone : free awp lol i need to spend
Here's another one...
"THE BAIT'
PROGUIDES MY BRO this helps me find my self in a good team thanks!
I volunteered as a entry fragging igl because my friends are amazing traders and they know their nades and they trust my calls
It makes me so bad when someone buys an awp and sucks at it and still buys it
well you won't get good at it if you don't do it you know, that's like hating bad players for playing the game
@@cheburekmaker2973 Dont forget that an Awper needs to be good at rifling too, sure its alright being bad at Awping but to practice inside of a Competetive match is basically throwing.
Cheburek Maker Like yeah you need to better at awping but there’s so much more better places to do it than a comp game and get like 1 kill
L1fey yeah I usually tell them to stop buying the awp your missing all your shots in a nice way and tell them they can get more kills and help the team if they use an ak but they tell me I’m practicing and to shut up and I just say there’s awps server for a reason and casual
Cheburek Maker They can practice, reaction time, flicking, deathmatch and casual lobbies (basically a dm with rounds)

Guide to being an anchor: NEGEV
Playing with a negev requires just luck, so the enemies will enter in your spray of bullets
I fit pretty well as the last
"Nobody wants to be the support player"
Heh?????
Awpers also need to be smart, wasn’t highlighted in the video, positioning, timings and decisions are vital to awping.
Watched EG played throughout this EPL season, and Cerq, their awper is the flashy risky type player, and although you see him often going big, he costs a lot of rounds even when he gets a multi kill.
Thats pretty much the only thing an AWPer needs to succeed tbh. Anyone can hit a fucking AWP shot.
I prefer playing Lurker and anchor, even though learning the roles was frustrating as hell. xd
personally i would say i play on a playmaker/support switch, ive gotten a ton of 1v3 clutches lately, and im usually being that one guy to flash mirage b perfectly so your entry can get the guy at bench/short and then planting the bomb to kill everyone in kitchen.
Ok, buddy. This is some prime pasta stuff.
Im the one who always says “wow” when the enemy wins and “nice” when my team won. 😆
GG
You forgot one roll
The noob with 2 hours of cs that runs around with a p90 and does not peek corners and is only in your lobby bc ur friend invited him to play
Antimar I feel attacked :( But I learn! (And I don’t do P90-rush)
@@randomthings6152 you will get better but please DO NOT go to competitives if u do not have more then 400hrs bc u are gonna get rekt and probably get kicked out of the game if u do not know how to play.
Antimar well...do you mean with competetove the normal ranked matchmaking? Cause that’s what I play. And I make...let’s say...okay rounds! But I’m not ranked yet, and I think if I get ranked, it gets harder, so yeah.
@@randomthings6152 ignore that fool- how're ye going to get 400 hrs without playing eh :p
soloQ out of silver is totally doable esp if you actually try to practice yr mechanical skills a bit ^^
gl & hf!
Im igl since i placed silver 2 so I really had to be to get out of silver. Fast forward 3 years LE now, if your in silver take on the igl role but learn how to do it and never make calls and set up games for you only, or your teammates wont like you and your team will throw.
Any advice?
Jiggle peak and let teammate flash usually try to bait a shot and rush the fuck outta them
@@JerryRust lol
@@JerryRust that's a really good advice for awpers, you shouldn't just sit in one spot, sometimes you have to risk too
my role: low framerate
dude this is really well made man good job
Very Thankful to our IGL!
whenever i play nobody can be igl cause whenever someone gives valuable input they get ignored, talked over, or everyone just says "who asked?"
I just speak to team as one unit.
im "universal", im pretty good w/ awp, as leader, fragger, support, and holding site as well.
During cs 1.3, 1.5 these were called as ROLES.
During CS 1.6 these became Hybrid and Situational . where you switch roles as per Need
During CS Go we evolved - now we play as per Luck, Situation. Something more than hybrid.
If you are doing great - Entry Frag, AwP, go for kills ;
but if you are not doing well then Support.
My role changes with the map .
I’m a good IGL , great awper , awesome lurker and sometimes a support player
I am lurker/anchor. If there are enemies beside me, my fps drop, and after making calculations i can always tell the exact number of enemies beside and hardly ever though even their equipment. Having a bad pc sometimes have its advantages
I was familiar with all of these roles except the playmaker, which is ironic because that's what I currently do on my squad. I always enter second and I throw multiple nades to make it easier to lock down a site once we have it. I also aggresivly search for CT's that are rotating.
