Great video! I grew up in Waidring, which is just a stone's throw from St. Johann, and I've got to say, you've covered the area and activities beautifully in this video!

Ah, thank you! That's the highest praise, coming from someone who grew up near the area. What a beautiful place.

Great place. Went in June 2018. Hired a car from Munich.

That's what we did, too. Nice and easy - except we missed one of the toll charges.

It's a nice video, but there's a lot wrong with it! I come from Kirchdorf, the neighboring community of St.Johann! At minute 2:58 this is not the Harschbichel but the long mountain grade is called Niederkaiser! The Harschbichel is on the Kitzbüheler Horn in St.Johann where the gondola lift goes up, and right at the top is the Harschbichelhütte of the same name! And that at the end with the bunny of the show dairy where the cheese is made is not St.Johann but in Gasteig municipality of Kirchdorf at Bernd Widauer, because the daughter is in a relationship with my cousin! Greetings from Kirchdorf!

Ah, I hope you'll forgive the foreign visitors blending and expanding of boundaries. Greetings to you and I hope they have a happy relationship!

was there end of sept.. many hotels closed bc lack of service crew. existing crews not austrian but from hungaria - with no german or english.
many hikers pissed because mountain restaurants closed even announced in internet to be open.
    good old tyrol is gone.

It is because they don't pay enough and Zero respect to the Personal.

@@kaiseri.4641 you might be right. But this phenomen at present happens over all of Germany and Austria. I wonder where these 10 of thousands of people have gone to.

Gerne.
