As we’ve traveled by car, we are not sure about the train. I don’t think you will be able to go everywhere by train, for sure to some places you’ll need to go by bus as well 🚌

October is a great time for visit Austria. The average air temperature up the mountains ranges from 12 °C (53 °F) during the day to 3 °C (37 °F) at night. Daylight hours are getting shorter as winter approaches, but there should still be enough hours of sunshine to get out and about. This is an excellent month to look for discounts on flights, train travel, and accommodations. Yes, it’s colder, but it’s still great time to travel! ☺️🙌🏼
