Hey Man! Love your channel. I'm really considering getting this monitor. I'm a content creator and I love to game as well. From watching your review It looks great to edit with Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Logic Pro X. I want to start streaming on twitch soon though and a monitor is currently on my to get list. Would you say this monitor could handle twitch streaming?
I hate the stand. I want to cut the feet 4" back on each side. I also realize with this monitor, that with 4k or higher resolution, really need 32" at minimum size.
I purchased the monitor and man! it looks incredible! In my opinion it looks same as the iMac display, very sharp image and color are beautiful. Currently using it with M2 MacBook Air.
163 PPI is NOT Retina. So, sorry for Mac owners ( which I am). If you care about Retina (which I do), you have to buy a 5k Monitor with 217+ PPI. 2160p monitors will not do retina. Even if they are 'ultra fine.' Don't learn this the hard way by buying a monitor thinking you'll get a Retina quality display. Ugh. LG, and Dell, both have 5k monitors though.
I have the LG 27 UP850-W and I love it. Now I want to get a second LG 4k monitor for my new 4k cameras that I just had installed. LG has so many 4k models in 27" which one would you recommend for this application. I would get the same one I have now but don't feel the price is justified just for my camera set up. Thanks for the review! I've just bought 2 x 27UP850s to use with a 2020 Macbook Pro. When working on an Excel document with grid lines, both monitors make a sound - quite a high-pitched squeal. The noise/pitch changes as I zoom in/out - very bizarre. Have you (or anyone else reading this!) encountered a similar problem with this model from LG when working in Excel/something with many lines on the screen? I am thinking of asking Amazon to send replacements...
I do not have this model but i have the UP850. The colors seem a little off from my macbook pro retina display. It looks a little warmer and highlights are not as hot. what's the best way to calibrate that?

I wonder if that is because I am on a Mac. These features where what really interested me and convinced me to buy, like controlling the color space for each app. If someone knows if I did something wrong please let me know. I have the version 3.18 4.11. I never had a 4K monitor before. I am excited to work it. I am replacing a ViewSonic ColorPro that my cats broke!! I will need to safely secure this one. Love the slick look. The only thing I would have done to the stand is make the screen go higher to clear my macbook pro 16 inch that I have right in front of it. I need to put it on something.... Are the speakers loud enough for video calls with fan noise in background? Also does the anti glare effect the sharpness of the display? And does it take away that wow feeling?
Im looking into buying this one or the dell 2723qe. If money is not an issue which one would you get? Is the dell better in screen quality, colors and contrast? Want ir for video and photo editing

Hi, I bought this monitor, but I have not been able to view UHD (4k) content on netflix. I have the mac connected with the usb C cable that comes with the monitor, which charges and transmits as you mention in the video, I enter netflix from safari as the netflix documentation mentions. i have macbook pro 2020 premium plan on netflix for UHD macOS 12.3.1 monterrey The netflix titles only appear with the DV (doble vision) tag, but the content is still reproduced in 1080p and not in 2160p. Do you know what will happen or do I need another cable or configuration? Have you been able to watch netflix in UHD with this monitor from the macbook pro?
I thought it was 27mn 60T-W. But what your reviewing was 4K. Too much for us don't need 4K for our use. It's on the $150 range. Will be going to buy this at Cost.
I got one and the IPS glow was very very bad, I am not sure if LG is sending one the pre tested units for review ! and this is the 2nd time I got and the old one had on the top and this one on bottom left and right ! many people reported same issue and there is one video in youtube too !

I am looking to get this for someone as a Christmas Present. I had to make sure that I got the correct cable with it. 1) is there a cable in the box? 2) We are looking at a laptop that does NOT have an HDMI nor a mini HDMI but e Thunderbolt 3 (only one) port. Can I use an HDMI to USB C cable and will this cable work through an expansion hub? I mean one of those smaller rectangular hubs that are around 40.00. This hub would be plugged into the Thunderbolt port so I am thinking hub's HDMI to monitor USB C or vice versa... I don't know if the USB C on the monitor's rear can be used to operate the monitor from the laptop's HDMI (on the plugged in hub). If I go from the USB C Hub's HDMI can I just use the Type C end to hook this up from the laptop?
I’m liking this monitor so far, except for the speakers. They sound horrendous. Like I think they’re broken or something. Also I can’t control the volume on them. The bar is greyed out on my MacBook. Hopefully I’m just missing a setting. Also, the mount is very wobbly. Just typing on a regular keyboard makes the screen bound around. And the slightest touch on the desk with a wrist or elbow makes it move.

LG has so many 4k models in 27" which one would you recommend for this application. I would get the same one I have now but don't feel the price is justified just for my camera set up. Don’t use Monitor speakers lmao that’s where you went wrong… no one uses monitor speakers, go get a pair of speakers like everyone else.
Also sounds like you don’t have a very sturdy desk. You want a desk that does not move at all…
Monitor speakers are just meant for beeps and bops type of output.

sRGB is worthless for printing. What is the rating for Adobe RGB?
