Thanks for creating this video. Is there a major difference between LG27UP850N-W and LG27UP850-W apart from USB C output? I understand the LG27UP850N-W provides 90W of output and LG27UP850-W provides 96W of output but as per LGs website it also says that Wider Color Gamut, Auto Input Switch and more importantly the 3H Anti Glare surface treatment is not there in LG27UP850N-W. Can you throw some light on this?

Just picked up this monitor yesterday, and once I paired it with my MacBook Pro (2018) I noticed that in photos the colors look vastly different. Is a way to adjust this? Or should I go ahead and order the color calibrator?

Not sure if you will see this or not but wanted to point out that what you list as usb downstream port is actually display port while the usb-c port is a downstream port that will also do display port. That aside, good review. I have what I think is the slightly newer model. Has the same ports but a different stand.

Hi thank you so much! And I didn’t install Mac OS onto the LG monitor. All I did was connect the monitor to my MacBook Pro via USB-C and it essentially just mirrors my laptop through the larger monitor display! Very easy to do if you have a MacBook!
As you said the lg 27un850 is not the greatest monitor you can buy so what is the best 27 inch LG monitor?
I just bought this monitor, I suggest laying the monitor flat, and then mounting the arm and base to it, it was quite simple and ready to go when I stood it up.
The model I just ordered on Amazon says 60 W power delivery... the 90 W option is $300 more! It doesn't seem like that one feature would necessitate that big of price jump. Am I missing something or is that feature truly that big of an upgrade

does anybody know how to turn off annoying sound, despite the fact that display settings are all set to 0, when the display turns off and on to rest mode?
does this monitor put out enough Power over USB C for a 16" Macbook Pro (M1Max) ??? I know 90W but sometimes specs are not reality ...

why does it say 144Hz on Amazon if it only supports up to 60
