    Thank you for video! I understand that it works so well with the MACBook as a second monitor that no one in any review talks about how much this monitor distorts shades towards warm and yellow tones. I purchased this model due to its huge popularity on the internet and good value. When I took it out of the box, I noticed that all the colors were deviated towards yellow. I planned to use it as my main monitor for retouch photos and videos. After professional hardware calibration, all colors retained their yellowish tint, lost saturation, shadows are very high and black color became not just gray, but with a gray haze. I am frustrated and discouraged. As the main monitor it is not suitable and this yellowness looks like some kind of defect.

    Tell me, is the coating regular matte or anti-reflective? That is, you can see the reflection of light from lamps, etc., or it absorbs light, like on a Mac 100%?

    what wire are you using to connect to it? I'm using a mac mini, does it work connecting using a HDMI cable? I don't think Thunderbolt 4 connection works right?

    hello brother how are you?
    does it have eye care features like benq (Brightness Intelligence (B.I.) technology is a unique BenQ feature that detects the surrounding light condition and then adjusts screen brightness and color temperature accordingly to ensure the most comfortable viewing setting. EW2880U is also equipped with Low Blue Light and Flicker free to optimise eye health through long hours of watching.) ??
    did you feel eye strain when you used the monitor for long hours?

    • @kuileichan5546
      @kuileichan5546  8 месяцев назад

      Obviously, the more expensive BenQ monitor will be better at protecting vision and health than this LG monitor, because I have reviewed the BenQ EW3280U. But I didn't feel uncomfortable using the LG display for long periods of time. Coupled with the more favorable price of this LG display, I still recommend that consumers on a limited budget choose lg

    I’m a bit confused
    In my country the LgUL500 , 550 and UP650 sell for roughly the same +- 10 bucks and the Lg UP 850 is just 50 bucks more
    Which should I get ?

    • @gdkgsirItsoyxuemrzktxitzi
      @gdkgsirItsoyxuemrzktxitzi 8 месяцев назад

      as i understand UP is the new version of the UL. and the 850 model gives you an option to have a type c + charge your mac via it. i’m not sure but 850 should also be 50 nits brighter. i went with used UP850 yesterday, can’t be happier! need to calibrate the monitor although, but it should be great after that

      Sorry, the VESA mount I'm using may not be available for purchase in your country. Because I purchased it on an online shopping platform in China, it is currently not sold on international platforms like Amazon.

    Я использую Philips 279M1RV с моими макбуками. Такая же проблема с огромной подставкой, но тонкие рамки, 120Гц по Type-C. Заказал второй на этот раз 279M1RVE.

    Thanks for creating this video. Is there a major difference between LG27UP850N-W and LG27UP850-W apart from USB C output? I understand the LG27UP850N-W provides 90W of output and LG27UP850-W provides 96W of output but as per LGs website it says Wider Color Gamut, Auto Input Switch and more importantly the 3H Anti Glare surface treatment is not there in LG27UP850N-W. Can you throw some light on this?

    • @kuileichan5546
      @kuileichan5546  11 месяцев назад +2

      There are some differences between different countries for LG monitor sale of this display. In China, LG27UP850N-W has not been sold before, and LG27UP850-W is mainly sold to provide 96W of output. You can understand that it is a new model, and the difference between them should be the difference in output power. As for the difference in your last comment, I did not feel it. If you also want to buy a monitor, I have been using it for more than half a year, it is still worth considering

      @@deepakmurugaian2203 Did you purchase this monitor? If yes, how is the experience. I want to buy LG 27UP850N-W for my MacBook Pro. So is the pixel density an issue as my work is with programming so text sharpness and clarity is important for me.
