I’ve been taking this stuff for a couple of weeks and I didn’t think I was depressed before but it has really changed my life and everything seems much better and just more alive , have a great day everyone
St. John’s Wort and CBD have really been the combo for me to completely help with anxiety/depression
Do you take them in any sorta way ? Like together in one gulp ?
Cbd ? What should I ask for when I go into the cbd store?
I love herbal medicine and St. John's Wort but the answer for SAD is not to take something but to get the heck out of the house and into the light, even in winter! This will cure SAD. I know, I have it an lived in Bellingham when I found that I must study outside or else sink into the dark night that is Bellingham's Winter months.
I get plenty of sun at 41 latitude but "Go and do, not sit and stew" is a must for me.
Yarrow in an office! Strange.. Lol When you geared up I felt safe again. Haha
Your a nerd, and you made me smile which is not easy in my current depressive state of mind.
But seriously. Thank you. Your video has been quite informative. BIG thumbs-up for you. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Just know that you are loved. There are many of us that really do care about how you feel. Pray & listen & watch for natures messages or even dreams. God is with you. Eat well, continue your research & the truth will set you free. God bless.
I agree with all you’re saying but I do believe the people have a chance as many are praying and repenting worldwide. We will see as things are moving along quickly now & this virus is being used to force us into lockdown (look up “lockstep”) so they can vaccinate us all with their “ID 2020” microchip vaccine. EVENT 201 explains a lot. What evil surrounds us. I pray the people wake up to the truth, pray and repent.
I loooooove nerds! Smart people!
@@eifionphillips3004 same here they brighten my day with the overload of information that helps my depression. This guy is needed

You should have been born in the 70's, you are a true free spirit!
This stuff helps me sleep and makes me a lot less uptight, its awesome
Thank you Yarrow.... I was up helping my family get wood and the plant kept yelling St John's Wort so I brought some home and double checked thank you because of you I followed my intuition and remembered what you said. I talked with them the whole time and got a cup of wild strawberries too!!!!! My ten year old son who is always tired and unmotivated stacked wood like a champ and thanked me for reaching him what I knew of foraging, he loves being around vegetation with me. 🙏💕💫✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨. Post from Yarrow Willard today.
Happy Saint Johns Wort Day! or St. Jean Baptiste Day!
This day is a traditional day of celebrated in old world European culture, and marks the harvest time for St. John's wort flowers.
I have a story for you....
Over the last two days I've had excruciating pain in my chest. I woke up Monday morning and could barely walk, it felt like a rib had popped out of its socket, even breathing was painful. I had to slow down, drop all my plans, and rest up. It was so sudden and I couldn't think of anything I had done that could have provoked it.
After steaming and soaking, icing and massaging for a day with no relief, I started thinking about how this condition would have been treated in a traditional old world culture.
A sudden debilitating pain like this most likely be considered witchcraft, psychic attack or an evil wind. Now I know that sounds far out to some of you, but instantly my mind turn to Saint Johns wort, the herb I've been working with so intimately over the last few days. Not only is it great for shooting nerve pain like I was feeling it especially was used as a protective Herb against dark forces that mean to harm someone. So I started taking micro-doses every 10-15 minutes of the Saint Johns wort tincture I made last week. I also placed a small bundle of the herb above each door of the house for protection. Instantly I started to feel better.
My wife Angie then had me do some open chest yogic breathing exercises. I felt ashift start to happen and now I'm on the mend still taking my drop dosage of Saint Johns wort, and still have a little pain, but I can move, and am feeling great full for the protection of St. John's and a loving wife who helped heal me up.
In an after thought, I realize that I take on too much sometimes, I move too fast, and leave myself vulnerable by often being one step ahead of myself. My lesson and blessing is one of slowing down, grounding my actions and honouring this temple of a body I was born into.
Thanks St. John's Wort,
Happy St. Jean Baptiste Day
Y~

@@alanmcnair4794 I use it many ways and a tea is one of them!
Ty for sharing that. Never know when your experience will help others. I just learned a lot (which is also a song by Amos lee, a very calming singer I recommend for you).
Sending love and divine healing light to you and your wife🙏💕💫✨✨✨✨
Also going for more plantain and Mullien as one of my dearest friends throat cancer came back 😔. I love her so much she was like a mother to me. Bringing her pine needle tea too!!!

Can't tell you how much I loved this video
"even these little bees are happy!" :) I find St John's wort helps me maintain quality sleep {thought it does not make me sleepy}.. It also synergizes nicely with some other remedies for arthritis.
I just found this plant on my property but in the county right of way where it could be mowed down. I moved it into my micro-meadow. It’s looking good!!
If we are feeling overwhelmed by people. This may be the herb for us!

Any herbalist named “Yarrow” must know his herbs!
This is so cool. I have been enjoying my st. Johns wort tincture from mountain meadow herbs. I feel alot calmer.
This was helpful. I found this growing everywhere on our property.
I love your energy!
I just found tou new friend. Aooo happy to be here .THANK YOUUUU!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Just watching this video made me happier, thanks bud!
Lovely, St Johns Wort is excellent for the nervous system of the body and 'physiological neurone conditions'. I used to take it rarely, just a couple of tablets, if planetary energies were impacting on me. Now I am doing a new test with it and taking it for longer to see what happens.
Nice to read your comment.Thank you for sharing.God bless.🙏🏻🙏🏻
I just love you and your channel!!!!! You've really inspired me to go about herbs for so many things! Have an amazing day and thank you!
Great vid but small correction--it's now believed that HYPERFORIN is most responsible for antidepressant properties whereas HYPERICIN simply improves Hyperforin absorption (it helps hyperforin reach steady-state levels in the blood).
MsChaos4 thanks for the comment and correcting. Sounds like they work together though. Thats why we should be using whole plant extracts like tinctures rather then standardized extracts.
They’re everywhere!!! 😍
Love it! Keep em comin! I'm lovin' St. John's Wort.
After such an uplifting vid You Tube gave me a C19 ad. Blah! I NEED SAINT JOHNS WORT! although seriously, I'm definitely adding it to my garden. Thanks : )
Muy sabio he inteligente, cosecha sus plantas, las hace y las vende...ensena,no es egoista..muchas Gracias..muy buen maestro...
Nice video 👍.
St. John’s wort oil is amazing applied on skin burns caused by the sun and also for muscle pain rub.
Once I was studying for my exam all night and I made myself a tea with St. John’s wort to relax. I made it very strong by mistake and I started hearing voices in my head. Nothing like that ever happened before or after so I know it was from the flowers. I did not understand what they were saying but it was like hundreds of different voices speaking all the same time. It was the weirdest thing and it really scared me at first. The tea I had was all flowers picked in the wild. I find that the tea I buy in stores is mostly leaves and not many flowers so maybe it’s not very potent.
Thank you so much for pronouncing wort correctly. It drives me crazy to hear herbalists say wart . 😊
Wonderful...great video. I love this plant.
In the UK St John's wort teabags are usually marked to not exceed four teabags or mugs per day. Also my experience of St John's wort was that although it takes out the 'down' spikes also tended to take out the 'up' spikes so my mood became flatter.
I am impressed with all your knowledge and passion my friend. Subscribed!!!
Beautiful plants! Thanks for a great video!
You had a beautiful patch! Thank You for such great information, I had known so little about St. John's wort but am now looking forward to looking for some Organic Seed to start a Patch ! Thank you for helping me to Discover a new Herb to enjoy !!!

Yeah.. it was a shock..but I'm not surprised...very smart guy has been reaserching for ever..sooo well very in technology
I quit taking it yesterday and today woke up with the feeling like my head was spinning. I was very dizzy, fatigued, and started getting really sick to my stomach. I'm not a depressed person. I actually don't really believe in depression. I was just taking it because for a year I was taking melatonin and diphenhydramine together every night to get to sleep and stay asleep. I was sick for awhile and it messed my sleep up. Anyway I didn't like how I had to sleep for 10 hours just to get a decent sleep. The diphenhydramine lowers sleep quality and I had to start waking up early a lot. Also I have social anxiety and I thought it could help me socialize normally. I have only been taking st john's wort for a week. The only reason I decided to quit was because I thought it was making me jittery. I kept waking up at night feeling really energized. I'm not sure how it could make me tired and help put me to sleep but make me jittery too. Maybe it was some other reason making me jittery. I don't know. I didn't know it had such harsh withdrawal or that it had any withdrawal at all. In that case I think I'll keep taking it but I'm going to try not taking it right before bed.
Hey there, that was an interesting comment you made on St John's Wart nearly 4 years ago.
I'm interested in how your sleep improved with its use ever since?
You seem like an intelligent person, so I value your feedback 🙏
It’s incredible stuff, I’ve had a lot of aches and pains, has helped a lot, I think it works more on the perception of pain rather than blocking it ?
This is very effective Alhamdulillah❤️
I think he is the Steven Erving of herbalism. I love it!
I really enjoy these videos. Well done
Thank you for sharing great info
Thank-you amazing informations!!!!!
Its hard to find St John's wort growing in Ireland, as we dont have a lot of sunshine time. Would love to try the real thing. Tom
Empowering Medicine ✪ Herbalist I just started looking, I'm in Co.Cork, I'm sure there has to be some around.
I'm on the cork border, it's growing wild here, but it never noticed it till I bought seeds and grew it first. I think I may have been distracted by the ragworth which is in abundance here.
Loved it thanks Yarrow Willard!
1st time seeing your channel!! This is Epic!! 💪💪
THANK YOU for this video!
I have tons of the stuff growing as a weed in my paddock here in Australia.
Quercetin the yellow pigment in St. Johns Wort is a powerful mood enhancer and antioxidant.
Thank you ❤️♾
Great video. Great vibes. Great information.
Much love ❤️♥️
Yarrow thanks for all you hard work and dedication on this... I need to check it out.
I'm picking mine up tomorrow.
Hi Yarrow! Love your videos! I really appreciate you sharing your herbal wisdom! I planted a couple St. John’s wort plants this summer but they only grew a little and then stopped. They didn’t sprout any flowers. I was wondering if I could harvest the leaves for a liniment without the flowers or wait and see if flowers bloom next year? Please help!
You are good teacher, wisdom, inteligent,if you sale those products.thank you..
I love you
I love this guy too :) LOL
excellent video and good to see such enthusiasm for natural plants,i have a question, what form of st johns wort would you recommend? i can find ground flowers and stems on ebay,is it the flowers that i should be taking or other parts of the plant and would i simply make my own tincture?
+Ian Pearson You can make your own tincture with the dried herb matter, though best to make sure it was harvested in the flowering season. 60%-70% alc. is preferable for this one. Ideally you would get your Saint Johns wort fresh, for this year you may want to purchase some already made tincture from fresh flowers and harvest some next year yourself. We sell both Tincture and Oil from fresh flowers, as well as dried leaf and flower at Harmonic Arts. Check out this link if you are interested in seeing the products we carry with St. Johns wort in them. harmonicarts.ca/?s=St.+John&post_type=product
+Harmonic Arts Botanical Dispensary i have a question... i have been taking st john wort on and off and most of the times it has a good effect on my mood but after watching this video i wonder if buying a fresh flower and mixing it in tea with ginger would have a same benefit as taking supplement? also does buying it fresh might cause the flower to dried out till it delivers?
@@Herbal_Jedi how do you pull up the reviews on your products? I keep tapping the reviews or the stars but it wont show them. Perhaps you dont accept writing of reviews, just stars?
Wild.
St John's grows here in So. Oregon but your plants and flowers are so much bigger!?
That bell ringing over the top of his every word is some hardcore psychological torture
My little Johnie is still a young plant nd its no where as big as that but he is spreading across like a ground cover nd climbing up tge trellis 😁
I’m giving my 14 year old this because she is experiencing eye twitching and a cough/hiccups tic she does... I think she is overwhelmed and not really sleeping though so I hope it helps calm her nerves.
Did it help?
I really appreciate this video, my mom had me start taking St. john's wort recently. If possible would like to talk with you about this herb, started off taking it three times a day and two 150 mg. capsules each time. Just would like to hear more, thank you again for this video.
Loved that editing!
Fantastic video🌼
How can I make my st johns wort, grow as much as yours?, so pretty... Mine is so small..
.
A very good artist, but no specific information 😢
great info hippie. thanks !
I took it for 5 months in tincture form for 3 and then pill form for 2 because I began to get headaches and dizziness. Now I’m suffering visual disturbances and struggle to focus my eyes on things. I have now stopped taking it and am petrified that I’ve ruined my brain and or vision
Very good video, which part of Canada is this? ❤
Cute hippie guy , love your energies ,
Wish I was this positive :(
Going through terrible periods with lots of anxiety oversensitivity depression and stress..
I started taking gaia herbs' st. Jhons wort, we'll see how it goes..
@Пенчо its nice can help but exercise and therapy family friends you have to have them all slowly it takes time
WARNING:
St John's Wort is a very useful herb but it is known to interact negatively with some other medications.
If you are currently taking any other medication, always ask your pharmacist if it's safe to take in combination with St John's Wort.
Great video!!!!
This herb is also used to heal wounds in combination with cold pressed olive oil, iodine and rubbing alcohol
Great video! Thank you. I went foraging today and cut a zillion flowers! Happy happy 😃 Question: after getting home and inspecting the flowers there are little tiny worms throughout, for a sec I thought they were stick stems but when they moved… OMG 😆 So now I’m going through every cut stem/flowers and making sure to remove any and all squiggly worm. Have you seen this as well? Is it okay? Do you clean your harvest??
