  • Hand Embroidery 3D Satin Stitch on a T-shirt
    Hey guys,
    Today Ima show you how to speak up about things you care about on a whole new level! Hah, not really, but close enough.
    I made these two t-shirts cause I wanted to see if 3D hand embroidery letters can look good on a tee, and hell yeah they do!
    Watch me do this thing, and maybe get inspired to make one for yourself?
    In this video I go through all the things you would need to make something like this and of course what you need to do with all that stuff!
    Hand embroidery takes a while, but I find it therapeutic and even relaxing. Oh and it's a ton of fun! Especially when you get to look at something you have created with your hands, all by yourself!
    I try to upload a video every 2 weeks, if you like what I do here on this cannel, consider subscribing!

    In case if you do wanna try hand embroidery, here are some links for tools you might need to get started!

    I used plastic ones in this video: amzn.to/37J558R
    EMBROIDERY SCISSORS: amzn.to/3me7e28
    EMBROIDERY NEEDLES: amzn.to/3m0l5Jq
    I use DMC Stranded Cotton Thread, but here is a link to a pretty cheap bundle alternative: amzn.to/3oFFcxH
    STICKY PRINTABLE STABILISER: amzn.to/3oMfisb
    And if you liked my hoop stand, here it is as well: amzn.to/2J5fVNK

    This is so cool! I have been looking for a project to get into embroidery… I think I’ve found it!
    A question: What type of marker do you use to mark the letters?

  • @emilyrg
    @emilyrg 3 года назад +4

    This looks amazing!! No, I adore the colour choice! I have been trying to figure out how to do this machine free (but also as ‘efficiently’ as possible - if that’s even possible 😂) for ages!! Did you notice if it was more efficient to do the 6-strand letters as opposed to 3-strand because there’s more thread so it covers the letters quicker?? Thanks so much for making this video! So cool and the result looks amaaazing! Hope your fingers have recovered 😉❤️❤️

    • @vikasspacetohang
      @vikasspacetohang  3 года назад

      Yeah 6 strands was a lot quicker and in all honesty i think it looks nicer too, cause it’s got a bit more of a raise. Thanks so much for your comment! 💚💚

  • @ShelMF

    Hello, great video. What type of shirts did you use, and what was the fabric breakdown and/or the shirt weight? Wasn’t sure if the BY-12 Tees was a specific brand or type of shirt. Thanks!

  • @wilbervalenteg.417
    @wilbervalenteg.417 3 года назад +1

    I love these! And I think they came out great, and I do have one question, is there a way to use the satin stitich without the stitches getting saggy after removing the embroidery hoop and without using felt?

    • @wilbervalenteg.417
      @wilbervalenteg.417 3 года назад

      And another one I forgot about, how do you keep your design from deforming when you stitch? Whenever I stitch my design tends to get smaller as I put more stitches

    • @vikasspacetohang
      @vikasspacetohang  3 года назад +1

      Hey, thanks for your comment. The felt is there to have the words sort of raised, tall if you wish. There is a way to make them tall without felt, you just have to do double the work haha.
      Also, the fabric stabiliser is there to make it look not soggy when it’s all washed, it doesn’t stretch the fabric while you’re embroidering. :) hope that helps.
