Okay so I was really bored and wanted to do some embroidery and I came across this video and thought there is no way I could do this since it is my first time, but later I tried it and I couldn't believe it myself how well it came out, your tutorial helped me so much and I realized how fun this it, however I didn't wanted to do the word "Happy" so since my brother's name starts with H I did his name and it came it really well, Thank you so much for this video, it was so helpful!
This was such an informative and wonderfully straight forward video!!! I love your work! No music no extra talking, and super useful intuitive tricks and ideas THANK YOU. I'm teaching myself and my 10 year old daughter to embroider and this is exactly the support we need
it came to my mind to find a something interesting to do as a hobby and this stitching is not a disappointment. I hope i got to start my project too soon.
Perfect way to create a tutorial! No unnecessary music, cuts, edits! Like Adidas’ tagline “Everything that is essential. Nothing that is not” Thank you for wonderful tutorial
Thank you!! I am going to embroider my name on my work uniform jacket so i don't lose it. This is a wonderful tutorial and you answered all of my questions. Even ones i didn't know i had.
It is really a very astounding tutorial with such a significant explanation. Really helpful for a begginer like me. This is the first video that l saw on lettering and is also the last 'cause l don't need any after this. I was looking for cursive writing and there weren't many like this. And did l mention that your voice is simply subline. Thanks!!
Heartfelt thanks for guidance, to what I know will be a life long peaceful HOBBY. My favorite part of your awesome video and professional talent, the words " go with what you feel". Back stitch and couching seem all do able. So off I go, many many thanks from a Ct nurse in the trenches looking for a new hobby to bask in. My best wishes to you and yours. Mary J Stamford CT
Hello, i just wanted to drop a big thanks because this is exactly what i needed! This is the kind of tutorial we all needed. Thanks for making it real!!
Just wanted to say thank you so much. I’m new to embroidery. I used to do it when I was a kid but not consistently. I’m making a apron for my sister with her initials , and somethings she loves and this was super helpful. I subscribed and liked thanks again😻
I crochet but I was thinking of a way to start doing the eyes different. I love this technique because I can see how to do this for the eyes. I don’t really see embroidery anymore. Especially the free hand way. I did cross stitch and had to always get stamped. Now there are lots of ways to do it without buying it that way.
Why would 40 people dislike this video? What is there to dislike? I'm so confused, haha. Great video, thank you! I'm a beginner, and this is very helpful. I love your clear instructions and soothing voice. Thank you!!
Thank you some much for the video. It's very informative and helpful. The way you explain is also clear and easy to understand. I usually watched many videos before decided to subscribe, but for this video, I instantly clicked the subscribe button.
This is a very helpful tutorial, even 2 years later. I've just ordered an embroidery kit and am hoping to embroider elvish (tengwar) lettering around some sleeves and such :D i'm very excited to start now i know how to do some curved letters
Hi, thanks for the tutorial, i like your explanations. I just have a tip for people who want it to look more 'as if it was written by hand' without having to do the bulky 'stitching over already existing line' - stitch the text backwards ;) (turn the fabric around so you can stitch from left to right, and keep going as in the video)
I’m definitely not patient. But I have done a good bit of embroidery. I take breaks. And it’s something I do when I want to relax & keep my brain busy.
Yes, either tie a knot in the end of the thread farthest away from the needle or use a no-knot method. There are several that I cover in this video: ruclips.net/video/qz4t-imt2zA/видео.html
I love this. Can you tell me the name of the font you used? I think it will be perfect for embroidering my daughter's names on their Christmas stockings.
I use a heat disappearing pen and light table. Here are my affiliate links: Pen: amzn.to/2QNnjhe and Light Table: amzn.to/2QPj7gU. You can read more about transferring patterns on my blog post here: cutesycrafts.com/2018/08/embroidery-transfer-how-to-transfer-an-embroidery-pattern.html The ink from those pens can come back if it gets really cold again, but I don't really have that problem. I just try to make sure all of my marks are still covered and use the lightest color one on white.
Thank you for creating and sharing! What is the type of font you are using called? Do you use stencils or write by hand?

Am i the only one that finds it so cute when it pokes thru a bunch of times to find the right spot🥺

Me:no, I surrender! I'm not that patient!
You should be patient if you need to do embroidery
Embroidery need the patient and calm person
It may even help with patience. I started for this reason as well as tapping into my creative side
I’m definitely not patient. But I have done a good bit of embroidery. I take breaks. And it’s something I do when I want to relax & keep my brain busy.

I have never embroidered script, you make it look great. My question is when threading the needle do you knot the the thread before starting?
Yes, either tie a knot in the end of the thread farthest away from the needle or use a no-knot method. There are several that I cover in this video: ruclips.net/video/qz4t-imt2zA/видео.html
