Such helpful techniques for keeping the back neat! I usually do things for framing so am less worried about the back, but I have some tea towels to do next so these ideas are perfect.
Yes, this is my favorite method for tea towels and such. You have to be using an even amount of thread, so when I have to use an odd number, I use a waste knot.
Great tutorial, thank you! I'm planning on embroidering a message on my fiancé's pocket square for the wedding as a surprise and wanted to make sure it looked neat on the back as well.
So beautiful! I’m new to embroidery and keeping the back neat was always my number one question. Great explanation, super straightforward and simple. Thanks!
I too am newish with embroidery & always wanted to know how to keep the back work look good. She does a wonderful tutorial ! Thank goodness I found her channel.
Stunning and beautiful. Stem st is difficult on curves and the direction, helpful to show us how to travel. The back is very neat too. I still get confused with the direction with stem st.
Thank you! Here's an affiliate link to the stand I use: amzn.to/2VdAQT1 It's a floor stand, but I took out some of the pieces to shorten it for tabletop use.
I recently tried doing some lettering on a wool applique and it was pretty difficult, so I took it out. I am not sure if you use wool, but do you have any suggestions for tracing wording on there so I can stitch it? I love all your videos, they've been tremendously helpful! ❤
Wool like wool felt? Or a wool sweater? Can it be soaked in water? Anything that I'm having trouble transferring a design to, I use this product: amzn.to/2OLApLu (affiliate link) Here's a video where I show how to use it: ruclips.net/video/levsoIHljEI/видео.html
@@Gelca510 I have used that on a wool/rayon blend of felt before, and it worked okay. You just have to be VERY gentle when you soak it, don't soak it for too long, and don't wring it out after. The felt can distort if you do any tugging or twisting. Lay it flat to dry.
Hi Jessica! I clicked on your link for the embroidery needle and it is the same link for embroidery hoops. Can you provide your link again for the embroidery needle you used? Thank you!
Y You didn't show how you stitched the first part of a ? For a beginner like , if you are only saying means I couldn't understand anything. But instead if you could show n say , means its helpful to understand without cutting the scenes in between
You could have showed the detailed stitch without cutting scenes in between with a longer video. I thought I could learn this lettering with stem stitch By cutting all the scenes in between I think I have to search videos to learn more lettering. Please make your videos more lengthier n detailed, show things which you say on real time . You say one thing , they you cut scenes in between n not showing wot you r saying. It makes me confused

Any size 9 needle will work. Here's a pack of inexpensive ones. amzn.to/3UhRiww. If you want fancier, I use Tulip needles amzn.to/3Dvrmqm.
When printing the words on paper, what size should the font be?
It depends on what font you use. This was Isabella Script Monoline font at size 91.
Did these hold up in the washer and dryer?
I haven't used them, but I tested some tea towels that I made using the same method that held up fine.
