Melo is such a lovely dog. Your wedding napkins are so professionally done. I am learning so much from you Jeanette. I just wish I could watch your ‘Friday Night Live Chats’ more often. Unfortunately, Scotland is 5 hours in front of Virginia. Still, I love to watch your replays.
Melo is tired from keeping up with you! Oh, that face. His name fits him...Melo. I had a standard poodle as well but he was much more energized but such a sweetie. Miss my Bailey every day.. Very nice job ..thanks for sharing your process. May I ask what stabilizer you used and did you press them? I was surprised to see that much of a hoop imprint using the magnetic hoops.
Hi Jeanette, Thanks so much for being a mentor! one more question... I looked up the 60 wt thread on Amazon, it is listed as bobbin thread by Simthread that you showed in your other video on thread weights and needles. It is on a regular spool, not a bobbin (I guess ppl can wrap their own bobbins.). I just want to be sure that is the same thing I can use to do the monogram as I am trying the napkins! I dont see a 60 wt thread listed in your Amazon store, or did I miss it?
I do have a link to a 60wt thread set on the Amazon store. I place it about 2 days ago. You use the 60wt thread if the fonts being used is smaller then .5 inches. If it's .5 inches or bigger you will be fine using the regular 40wt embroidery thread.
Jeanette, did you starch these at all? I saw that you did for the handkerchiefs for your dads funeral. Did you starch these light linen napkins? Thanks for all your teaching!
If the dinner napkins is thin, yes use Starch. I didn't have to use starch for the wedding napkins. For my dads funeral I did because handkerchiefs are made of thin material.
Do you use 60 weight top and bobbin? My machine does not do well with 60 weight. Not sure why. Tried every which way but keeps braking and not flowing smooth

I use tear away. The imprint is normal. That can easy be ironed out.
