I was playing as a good witch when Vlad was knocking on my door I used zipzap on him (smite evil from a story telling perspective). The next night there was a thunderstorm and my sim got electrocuted. Either my witch got a case of bad karma or Vlad has developed a new vampire power that he's not telling anyone.😂
A spellcaster type I love to play as is the Familiar Keeper. This spellcaster loves Familiars and likes having them as companions, which can be done by Binding familiar orbs to them. Additionally, if Cats and Dogs Expansion Pack is installed, a spellcaster can Bind their cat or dog as a familiar.
Will your pet live forever if you bind them as your familiar? Do you still need to feed them and bathe them? It'd be really cool if they become immortal that way
An underrated aspect of Realm of Magic is that the fridge, stove, and lights are all functional off the grid. (And you can also cook food in the cauldron, in a pinch.) So even if you like to make your own favorite food instead of summoning random meals, you can do it off the grid.
Mine is a variation of Revivalist, I think. Aaron (the guy in question) keeps drinking potion of prompt resurrection just to revive himself each time Grim comes for his Long Lived, old aged butt. He then uses the confidence moodlet gained from being resurrected back to help run his descendants' bakery. A pretty tame example for a Spellcaster but it fits the family's vibe of "Ugh, your great great uncle Aaron is still alive. This is the millionth time that he scares us with being dead..."
One of my Spellcasters is a Mythical Beast Conservationist. He lives in a secluded little cottage in Henford-on-Bagley with the unicorgi familiar I made for him using Cats and Dogs. He also has a llama because one of his hobbies is knitting, but the main focus of his farm is his goal to restore the critically endangered magical chicken breeds: golden chickens and evil chickens. If I get Horse Ranch, this Spellcaster's great-great-nephew will follow in his footsteps as a Mythical Beast Conservationist by raising unicorns. Another of my Spellcasters takes the Potion Master a step further. I'm trying to make him into an Ultimate Alchemist by having him complete the Master Chef and Master Mixologist Aspirations as well as Purveyor of Potions, brew all the herbal remedies from Outdoor Retreat, master the Juice Fizzing Skill from Eco Lifestyle, learn the rare recipe for Snaggle Fluster, and then switch careers from Mixologist to Scientist and brew all the Scientist serums. And if I get Horse Ranch, I'll add requirements to complete Expert Nectar Maker and craft at least one finely aged bottle of every type of nectar to my Ultimate Alchemist Challenge.
With the For Rent expansion pack adding to the apartment experience. I think a landlord spellcaster would be a good idea since judging by the trailer there will be a lot of maintenance work, which would make Repario very useful for fixing the electrical unit and hot water boiler, and anything else in the building that needs repairing. Plus with mold going to become a problem, Scruberoo should take care of that. And if you want your tenants to behave and do the work themselves, you can alway minionize them.
I've played Revivalist but by using the spooky lot trait and bringing the ghosts who appear back to life. You can't revive Guidry or Temperance but the other ghosts will revive.
@@gabe_itch24 it took a while but I had a master Spellcaster with an ancient bloodline invite over the sulani spirits and use the de-deathify spell. Then I had them have a child which would then have an ancient bloodline and the sulani mana trait. When she grew up she opened a retail store where she sold potions (the potion shop is not very profitable so money cheats were used) - hope this helps 😉
Thank you for this! I actually renovated a build this past weekend to make it a magic school and plan on making my family for it tonight. This gives me a good idea of how I can set up some of my Sims' personalities as casters.
You are literally one of my favourite Sim RUclipsrs, I wish you done updates on the latest news and packs and things like that, your voice is so soothing
Being a spellcaster is extremely useful when you're collecting because you can duplicate your crystals (for example) and send all the copies until you get all the elements. It makes things way easier. You can also duplicate the rocks so you can always get new fossils. This feature is useful even if you aren't a collector. In need of some money? Duplicate an expensive item such as a dragon fruit and sell everything! You can get rich pretty easily this way.
I’ve had RoM for about few months and yet I’ve never played with them. I’m particularly interested in that random plant spell and the collector spellcaster for my current save file. Rags to riches but you have to rebuild a fallen empire and grow the population of your people. I can’t wait to get a new computer to stop all the LAG 😩 anyways great video, love learning new things about the sims from you
This was a well timed video, gave me good ideas for my next spell caster. I want to make one who has a potion shop including selling the occult and vitality nectars from horse ranch.
My gameplay needs the inspiration 😢 ALL my spellcasters are so bland 😩 Even though I try and give them some personality, they always end up being just spellcasters 😅 I'd really like to please request a video about the robots you can make at the robotics stations 😊 ❤ I've always wanted to know if it's worth it. If there isn't one already 😅 You're very thorough, Petey 🥰
I love these ideas! I always like to have my spellcasters concentrate on an aspect of magic so they don't start feeling the same - you've given me so many more options. Big, big thank you ❤❤
no cause i JUST made a save to play with a spellcaster a few days ago and was getting kinda bored, then you post this and now i can apply some os these to my own gameplay and make it fun again thank you!!
In my legacy, my 12th generation is a Potion master and I made sure she doesn't learn any spell. It's such a great playstyle for spellcasters especially when they learn that satisfaction need potion, such a time-saving potion
The one problem with Floralorial is that, as far as I know, it only works on one plant at a time -- meaning if you have a LARGE garden, it might actually genuinely be easier (and less prone to building up deadly amounts of charge) to just build up the gardening skill and Tend Garden. If there's a way to make it work on multiple plants, that would be awesome.
I have been playing the sims for almost 20 years and you still teach me new things ❤ thank you so much and you definitely got a new happy subscription. Xx
If you revive a sim you used to play before they died, will they return with all their skills and relationships as they were at the time of death or do you need to start all over again?
I made four different spell caster houses similar to Harry Potter with each one having an assigned familiar and a color combo matching one of the four elements from Avatar as well as traits that differentiate them from a physical, mental, creative or social sim

Ooh I love this Sage!! Definitely another fun idea :D
are there any limits to how many familiars a sim can have?
I actually did this. And my pet is a black cat just like in the storys😂
Will your pet live forever if you bind them as your familiar? Do you still need to feed them and bathe them? It'd be really cool if they become immortal that way
@@fiveangrybunnies1470 Sadly not. The pet will still have all the needs and will age.

I have yet to meet anyone that has not wanted a cauldron of witchkraft macaroni & cheese. All great points there!

This is amazing 🤌🏻
your creativity inspires me to learn more about the game so I can come up with my own challenges/storylines!
@blazebardgames5939 Bro how long do you want to spend in this challenge?

Did you try this storyline? Did it work well?
I can tell the game really not likes it when I did that. I once had a water leak and used repario and the game just didn't acknowledge it.
Copypasto also works great on Money Trees if you have Seasons. You can literally farm wealth!!
I just started doing the with the millionaire senerio and keep repeating the senerio to farm appraisal points for traits
I've played Revivalist but by using the spooky lot trait and bringing the ghosts who appear back to life. You can't revive Guidry or Temperance but the other ghosts will revive.
You just made me want to play the game again after a year
I have a sulani mana spellcaster with an ancient bloodline who owns a potion shop (no mods) i will say she is my favorite 😉
How did you do this?

2:18 that would be my necromancer build, who learns all ways to resurrect and keep alive sims.
My saved game full of spellcasters are all good and evil, mentor, gardener, & medium spellcasters, I’m not gonna lie about that 😂

This video made me turn on my computer and make a spell caster 😅 haven't played one in ages.
Great video 🙌
I played the no skills challenge and had my Sim become a spellcaster. It made day to day life easier as she couldn't cook.

I lag too on pc, but at least only on big lots or with many sims around
I LOVE these gameplay inspo videos, genuinely gets me excited to play the game again, please, more of that!
The way I'm doing 5 and 6 in my current sims save. It's amazing

Ooh thank you so much for the video request Casey! It's on my list of videos to make so I do hope to get around to it eventually :D
I made a servo once and it outlived all the sims in the house!
Oh i think I'll make my botanist sim a spellcaster 🤩
Guys I checked and she already is 😂 Oh dear lord my memory is so bad. I'm having the same great new ideas all over again and again 🙈🫥
I love your videos Petey, thank you for yet another helpful tips and for always explaining in detail and making it so entertaining ^^
Thank you so much for the super kind comment :D I really appreciate it!!

I like to combine the botany and potion spellcaster so my SIM can grow some of their own potion ingredients
I've had a few packs but the relm of magic is by far my favourite so much to do and adds so much more game play also love those stained glass windows
I love playing spellcasters! Thanks for all the tips! 💓 👍
my spell caster is a vigilante sim working in shadows to take down evil sims by casting the fire spells
Yay! Thank you Petey :)
so many great ideas! i build too much lolz i want to try them alll
Waiting for fun Vampire Ideas vol 2 :D
One from me:
- Farmer Vampire. Requires: Horse Ranch + Cottage Living
However, you apparently didn't know but Herbio can actually restore a dead plant to life also.

easily the best sims 4 creator, you deserve way more views
Appreciate the kind words! Thanks Erin :).
I love the Realm of Magic pack...I make all my sims spell casters except the ones that can't
Adding to being a potion master is listing potions on Plopsy, or opening up a potion shop.
Wow the spellcasting club's a great idea! It'll be perfect for my save that has the Winx and W.I.T.C.H. characters 😊
And as always you helped make my day amazing, love that for you 😊
Hey, Petey! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the kind words :D
@@PeteyPlaysIt , you're welcome!
I have 16/22 maps so far 3 of the 16 are the Vamps, Wolves, and Spellcasters. Was thinking of the T.V series Originals and Vampire Diaries😂😂😂😂😂

“Next up is the revivalist spell-caster”
Isn’t that called a necromancer?
Well Livi I think your logic checks out haha. I hadn't thought of that at the time lol.
I made four different spell caster houses similar to Harry Potter with each one having an assigned familiar and a color combo matching one of the four elements from Avatar as well as traits that differentiate them from a physical, mental, creative or social sim
I love the "Like Dumbledore... but not like Dumbledore" XD
Where we can find this beautiful houses you used?
Can spellcasters use their powers to defeat the Mother Plant in Strangerville?
Does bloodline work with science baby?
Yes, it does!
Going to try making a social justice spellcaster
I like to be a landlord spell caster because it helps with punishing horrible tenants
Robert shall be a god
tried club spellcasting damm all 8 of them cast a duplicate on themselves like 8-10 dupplicate wtf
that's actually hilarious lol I love it!
Ok its pronounced paste-O, as in "copy and paste" and they added the O for flair not past-O
Ahaha omg my bad. Being Italian I'm thinking pasta with an o ahaha, paste-O makes much more sense thank you :)
I like to collect tombstones
I’ve got 5 urns of the same Sim who I burned to death
I revived him 4 times, and I can keep going
WOOP WOOP
Shouldn’t we be boycotting jk rowling?
No, play Harry Potter if you want, don't if you don't want. Who cares
@@ChildOfYahuahElohim👏👏👏
With Zero's mod you can play as a sage. I really love that and made a group with others sages and they are all training spellcasters
