not sure if they are secret traits but other secret traits i could remember is from For Rent which is Public Menace (from blackmailing alot) and Safe Keeper (from keeping alot of secrets) and also Knowledable Leaser (from completing the for rent residential tutorial) i forgot what they give but i just did it for super sim purposes lol
I'm a Japanese Sims player, so I use translation. Sorry if my comment was inappropriate. Thanks to this video, I now know how to obtain the "Perspectives On Death" trait, which I didn't know about for a long time! Thank you so much!
Recalling past life allows you to remember a lot. I tested with a copy of my old Super Sim. She could even remember college degrees and the mixology certificate! She couldn't remember any birth traits though like ancient bloodline. It would be a better feature if you could take all non-personality traits with you as well as milestones, but you can't. You can get all of the infant milestones though if you rebirth as an infant.
@@Queen_Frosty no. It's the same result as you creating a sim in CAS. If you have 2 parent spell casters in CAS and use CAS to play with genetics and create a child, the lowest you can go age wise is infant. The infant will not have any bloodline trait regardless of what the parents had. The code only adds birth traits during the "born" phase (either science baby or by pregnancy). It won't add them in CAS or during rebirths.
@@charitycodes Do you know if you can get the infant milestones from rebirth if you're rebirthing a first generation Sim who originally came straight from CAS?
@@Robert_Burnell-Jones I'm not sure what gets you the infant milestones immediately. I think you do need to rebirth as an infant and maybe your sim needs to be highly skilled before the rebirth happens. My super sim had tons of maxed skills.
I did manage to get both the Top Notch Toddler and Top Notch Infant trait through rebirth, so it's nice to know you can just skip those difficult life stages if you plan on rebirth
From my testing, Grimborn gets 7 days added to the elder life stage (Tested by inspecting bonus days with MC Command Center). I did not get any life extension at all from the Descendent of Grim trait. Others have said no extension as well. It's also worth noting that you need to test without the active trait or completing the body builder aspiration because those also extend the elder life stage.
You can make sims eat with chopsticks for more foods (might be basegame pretty sure it’s not though)if you have snowy escape and set your utensil preference to one of the chopsticks ones.
There are 5 other little known traits in the Sims 4 that I know of. Most of these can only be obtained through cheats or the gallery. There's the kindness ambassador trait which makes relationships grow faster and makes your sims feel less negative emotions, there is the sincere trait (makes people more likely to accept your apologizes) and the memorable trait (makes relationships with other sims decay slower, which is obsolete compared to the Beloved trait) which I believe were supposed to be reward traits in the reward store but they were scrapped. There are also the tutorial traits, Career-Minded (Gives work performance boosts) and Over-Achiever (Increased job performance & skill gains). I believe the Sims 4 no longer has the tutorial with those traits but they do have the aspirations still in the code. You can either cheat to get these traits, use the gallery, or you can age up a child sim and there is a chance that the child sim will age up with one of the tutorial traits. I once did a super sim playthrough and aged up Max Villareal and he aged up with the Painter aspiration from the tutorial. There was also a legacy playthrough I did where my sim's boyfriend had one of the tutorial traits. So I guess randomly generated townies also have a chance to have those aspirations.
@k.h.8440 Yes, that is true. But there are two traits called Overachiever. The trait from High School Years and the one from the tutorial. Same name, different trait.
Thanks for the awesome video! Something I noticed with the immortal trait from realm of magic: yes, it does prevent death from old age, but only while you have that household active. I previously had a sim drink the potion and kept them in a household marked as played so the rest would still age, but they were not the household I was playing at the time. Came to find out the “immortal” sim still died of old age. Maybe it was a fluke for me or it is some kind of bug, it happened quite a while ago so not sure if it still happens.
I had the same thing happen in one of my saves. I was playing rotationally with another family, and the sim with the immortal trait died of old age. I was very disappointed. It also happened quite a while ago, so maybe it was a bug that has been fixed, because I have seen other playthroughs where it didn't happen (under the same situation, immortal sim in another household), including Petey's Super Sim playthrough.
I haven't had this happen to my immortal sims, and I've played for six generations and both of them are still around. I also disabled their ability to die in accidents, so maybe that influences things somehow?
Justplainweird :) Thank you so much for the heads up. Strangely I haven't experienced this and my immortal sims have generally stayed alive? Possibly it was something from the past that's been fixed since? Or there's another factor that I haven't experienced that can cause it to not work. Thank you for letting me know though! Will be good to make a backup of those sims I plan to make immortal just in case :)
Romantic Sage (like Untroubled or being a werewolf) is great but it messes up your ability to re-birth. If you try to rebirth, it'll put your sim as an infant in a household on their own you can only find through "Manage Households", and you can't change their age and appearance without cheats.
Fun note you can change your sim's utensil preference to chopsticks or forks/spoons. So you can pretty much grind for the chopstick trait super easy now.
I use this for immersion purposes tbh. Whenever I'm playing in Mount Komorebi I always set my sims utensils to chopsticks cause it just makes sense lol
Love this video. Some details covered I wasn't aware of. Also, I think the Authentic Prankster for teens is a hidden basegame achievement, not something that came with HSY. I'm quite certain I achieved that before the pack came out?
There's also two traits that have existed since the game's launch but even to this day have never been obtainable without cheats or mods. Memorable, symbolized by a polaroid camera, makes it so sims' relationships decay more slowly over time. Sincere, represented by a pair of hands, makes it so apologies are more likely to succeed. My guess is these two traits were meant to be purchasable with Satisfaction points but never got added to the shop.
Memorable sounds like a less powerful version of the reward trait from the "Friend of the World" aspiration, so maybe it was originally supposed to be that?
Reborn toenage sims with the burning soul trait can also use "transcendent woohoo", but since they're teenagers, its renamed to "transcendent mess around" instead
When your spell caster first learn the recipe for the immortality potion, he'll get one for free. Now, place it on the ground. Cast Repairio to make it of excellent quality. Then, Copypasto to create several. If you have the cloning machine from the scientist career, you can also use it to duplicate any potion.
I remember being so surprised that pho counted as spicy bc its not spicy as is. Was very disappointed when both my kids found it spicy. Daughter got better at spice but my son didnt smh
By the time my sims get Mental Magister, they're already skilling machines. I've got a Grimborn alien, no cheats or mods. There's a challenge if anyone wants to try.
I’ve only done the grilled cheese aspiration once and it was glitched and they would not summon any grilled cheese and it pissed me off, but I wish I had known about the painting one cause I wouldn’t have been so upset if my SIM just painted all the grilled cheese paintings.
I always fail at werewolf diplomacy; I don't understand why I always fail at achieving this goal; how does one avoid werewolf rage mood swings long enough to gain werewolf diplomacy as a werewolf and rewarded with the associated trait and can anyone lay out which werewolf abilities make the werewolf descend from humanity to the point that they can no longer relate to other sims aside from the "Mark territory" ability?
It often takes me more than one attempt to unlock werewolf diplomacy. In general it helps if the werewolf is friends with the other sim before using this interaction. I try to make all household members of werewolves a werewolf ally.
@@simsspeler1757 ; I try doing it that way but, a sim still refuses to level with my werewolf because I actually have to be in wolf transformation first and then try for a relationship; this is the one thing about a sim lycanthropy that is confusing.
Is there a way to make a baby that has all the inheritable traits that Tina from your super sim series has, plus the one that grim's children get? Grim and father winter kinda conflict with each other but maybe its possible with the rebirth machanic, i dont know much about it

Overachiever is a trait I can just choose in CAS

I knew about all of these but two. While I knew about it, the Immortal Trait is pretty useless to me since I play with aging off.

That’s such a cute sim, can you put her on the gallery? I’d like to play with her

Ooooh, so it is very much worth it to max out the Entrepreneur skill, huh? Well, everyone has a side hustle these days, so... :P
I wonder grim right hand + immortal not going to stop old age but I wonder stops dying altogether like in a regular sense.

is there any way to get Father Winter's Baby and Grim Born on a Reborn Sim ?
You could reborn you super sim to get a grimborn.
Unfortunately the grimborn trait warps my sims' head and body whenever they load into a lot =(

how do i make a teen date a young adult?
why... why would you want that
You can only do this with certain mods
Um diva you can’t 🧍♀️
Have the teen become a young adult as well so they are the same age group
I have had teenagers age up and out of a relationship. It is upsetting, but I'd rather have that happen than introducing code that lets young adults date teenagers
