In this video, we'll get to the bottom of why all Android smartphones, even the most frameless ones, have a chin at the bottom. But the iPhone X and iPhone Xs manage to avoid it. What's the trick and why doesn't everyone do it?

I phones have symmetric bezels all around. Whereas android flagships have slimmer bezzel on the sides, which makes the chin seem more bigger than they are.

S22+ is 99.9% symmetrical, they could have gone the iPhone route and make it 100% symmetrical but then it would have a larger bezel all the way around, to the naked eye is pretty much imperceptible.
And so many android brand edited their presentation smartphone product photo on their website...so its look like has thin chin like iphone, but in fact..the chin very thick..tricky.
It's the "chin" being unsymmetrical to the other top and side bezels that makes it jarring.
There are plenty of phones with symmetrical bezels.

this is an old video we have android phones with small chins at the moment
I‘m not a big fan of all screen phones. Makes one handed usage less convenient.
S22/S22+, S23/S23+, iPhone X - 14 Pro Max, and the Nothing Phone (1)/(2) have symmetrical bezels :)
iphones don't count. the point of the video is why android phones have big chins but not iphones.
Iphones had iphone 8 plus had a big big gigantic bezels and Samsung s series competitor had less bezel🤦 you dont need a channel without searching

Everybody may have or think they the best but it still have bezels
It just depends on the brand. Samsung makes most of their newest flagships with symmetrical bezels all around, the A series tends to have chins, though. So do the Ultra, they have very slim side bezels but a very slightly thicker chin bezel.

Yup iPhone has managed to removed the chin but they can't managed to removed the gigantic notch and today they called it dynamic island. 😂✌️

People usually go for attacking apple for everything they do but they don't appreciate this little things they does so better than others
I have one, and it is ok for most people, But the lack of customization hits hard. However, the EU may fix a lot of the hardware with their new regulations.@TheErrorInBlack

@@Jacopichua yes it is. thats literally the entire point of the phone existing. its to bring the phone 2 features into a more budget form factor. it literally started at US$350 and most likely will go down in price as well. its literally a budget phone.

@@dread1262 Just looked at the samsung website and tryed to find something that is not ripped of apple. From a design perspective (doesnt matter software or hardware) everything is copyed despite the camera placement xD
EDIT: Even down to the material choice all of a sudden there is a titanium samsung phone after the launch from apple what a suprise haha
