Wow. Who are you? You're the most knowledgeable, smart, well presenting, and explaining cycling guy on RUclips. I was looking for this topic and, this video is by far the most informative! Subscribed!
Understanding Biomechanics and applying it on my cycling is a game changer. I have been riding and racing time trial and having a proper posture when riding my bike is night and day difference. I feel like it's easier to transfer power and it's easy to flash lactic acid because power transfer is pretty balance not just coming from the quads but anyways biomechanics is a real deal. looking forward for more videos sir and keep it up.
Jaaack! Hi my friend, just messing you to remind you own us that B. M. C. review and at least I am waiting for it very very excited. Cheers mi friend have a nice one
Great video Jack . Nice production again . Thanks for the answer to my question. I still wish I can put a longer stem at high speeds I feel my front end shaking. It makes me terrible descender. I would like to try a 100mm stem on an other bike to see the difference. Don't really feel like changing bikes now just for sn extra 25mm stem when I'm not sure if it will even make that much a difference. Thanks
It is not just the stem. As Jack has described, the bike has to be balanced. The other complicated thing is fork trail. I think Jack mentioned it in one of the earlier videos when he compared the System 6 and Synapse. The thing about the components of the bike is that it is like a spider's web. You pull on one part, the rest of the web gets pulled as well. Have the whole bike looked into.
@@stefanomancini6569 there are lots of components to work with. The handlebars are often overlooked. For my short diminutive size, I have 70mm stem but I use a 42cm c-c handlebar to balance things out on one bike. Seatposts are another component. A zero setback seatpost will have you sitting more forward moving your weight away from the rear wheel and more towards the front wheel. So this also alters the weight distribution. There is also adjustability how far forward or backward your saddle is which also adds another layer to the fit and also the handling. Experiment a bit here and there.
The white bike looks like at least one size too big for the guy in the red jersey. His arms are stretched out too much, so it must be uncomfortable on longer rides.
I love seeing you on the SystemSix. You need to just go ahead and buy that thing. hahaha What size frame are you? I see tons of em for sale at discount prices. Now that the new Canyon Aeroad seeks to steal some of the Sys6 Thunder, you might even get one for a song.
Turbo329 I like your thinking brother. Here’s the thing, after that BMC review, I’m interested in the Timemachine. Would love to do a compare of it with the System.
I've watched SOOO many videos about this subject and this has BY FAR been the most informative.
so what is the correct stem length ?

My BMC is the best bike I’ve ever owned
Great explanation. Thanks
Great video. I just hit subscribe. Any info on that gorgeous white bike? Make, model, wheels, etc? So beautiful, it is.
Cool, i learned a lot👍 Thanks for the info☝
No problem 👍
So you actually don't want to anteriorly tilt your pelvis by flattening your lower back? So it's normal to arch your back in the aero hood position?
Just awesome man ! Your the man get stuff out.
More to come!

Stefano Mancini Something is wrong brother. Look into that, cuz it doesn’t sound safe.

@@ingguidesmedia BMC definitely makes top kit. That will be a great video!
Great video
Thanks!
I loved it
Very nice 🙂
is my 100mm stem just right for my 49cm frame? thanks
Hard for me to say. I suggest you find and work with a good fitter.
what size of stembar can use may frame toptube 50cm? Thanks
Hard to say. I suggest you find a good fitter to work with. Best!
I never break a sweat , i only use my gears and legs to cycle. I do 40 miles and i am 60. so i learned nothing from this useless video
If it takes you all day to hit those 40 miles and you make McDonald stops all along the way then it would make sense that you don’t break a sweat.
I suddenly need a captain america stem cap
