I like the fact that you are teaching the sublimation process while taking the time to talk about each piece of equipment and how it is used. This was a great video!
Sublimation is only limited to white shirts or very light colored shirts. Since sublimation printing doesn’t print white, your design won’t show if it’s on a dark color shirt. Hope this helps!

Hi there, you can certainly use photoshop to create your design and then transfer it to the Ricoma software to prepare it for printing. The software comes included with the printer.
Looks beautiful and simple enough. The million dollar question, hypothetically speaking, looking at your design I would say it's about 5x7, taking your setting of Saturation 5 Vibrant Colors, I'm thinking you have it set at 600 dpi. Setting up the printer with all brand new ink cartridges how many designs can one expect to print from these new cartridges before they run out. Of course I understand it depends on how many colors are in a design, but the design your working with seems to have plenty. Or we can use a different hypothetical, how many 5x7 of the Same Design, taking your setting of Saturation 5 Vibrant Colors, 600 dpi before the ink runs out. So, how many designs can one expect to get from these new ink cartridges ?
Because the white toner transfer printer is laser printer, it doesn’t use ink and instead uses toner. Toner is more cost effective than ink. Like you said, how many pages it can print depends on the design but generally the standard yield toner cartridges for this printer can give a yield of 3000 pages. You’ll run out of transfer paper much faster than you run out of toner. Hope this helps.
@@ricomatv Thank you for your reply. Just so we are on the same page, we are talking about the Sublimation Cartridges, correct? Going with all that I wrote above, how may designs can one expect to get when placing all new sublimation cartridges into the machine, more or less.
@@ricomatv Excellent, you almost have me sold, I will call and speak to a rep for more information and prices. Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.

Sublimation can be done on poly blends as long as the poly is 60 percent or higher . And it has to be higher than the cotton. It just supposed to work better on 100 percent poly.

Really appreciate it. Question? Can you use photoshop with Ricoma software or transfer your images without using Ricoma software?
Hi there, you can certainly use photoshop to create your design and then transfer it to the Ricoma software to prepare it for printing. The software comes included with the printer.
Does the printer on both side of paper at the same time?
It’s capable of doing that for office printing, but you would never do that for heat transfer printing onto garments
@@ricomatv I was asking because I like to know will it print flyers (I forgot to mention)
Yeah flyers would be like office printing
