The first one, Day of the Warrior has the same kind of cheese and goofiness of Hard Ticket to Hawaii. The sequel, Return to Savage Beach, isn’t quite as fun but it’s pretty heavy on the boobage. They both also star Julie Strain who was a legend in the B-movie universe. She is also the ex-wife of Kevin Eastman, one of the creators of the Teenage Mutant Turtles.
Whenever I need my fix of these kinds of (I was going to say latent but I imagine Vinny was acting on his impulses since he was a teen) homoerotic moments in the WWF I usually tend to save a lot of time and go directly to the moneyshot...... Vince coming at Lex from behind and calling him big boy.
So glad you reviewed that beauty! I watched this movie at the Grand Rex theatre in Paris as the main feature of an all-night long bad movies festival with like 1500 people going "THE SNAKE ! THE SNAAAKE !!" anytime the snake showed up. One of my favorite movie going experiences! PS : Oh and watching the review, I just remembered that one of the festival staffers through an inflatable sex doll in the theatre while the scene with the doll happened. Incredible! xD
2 things, rowdy, played by Ronn Moss, is only familiar to me from the 90’s because he was Ridge Forrester in The bold and the beautiful. And that was Finlands first ”day time soap” that was imported and my grandma was a fan. Second thing, this movie is defo the ”second playtrough” since they have the infinite launcher from resi 1, and everything just drops dead from it! Great movie, great review and its always awesome to see Rowdy Ridge Forrester say ”and just when i thought it was safe to take a pee”! 10 cancer infected rat infused snakes out of 10!
Was there an editing mistake that you didn't show any shots of the razor frisbee in action circa 36:49 as opposed to shots of that phone call scene? Or were you forced to edit that out because of YT compliance?

I first saw Hard Ticket to Hawaii on the Movie Channel in the U.S. when I was about 12 years old. There was this writer and tv host named Joe Bob Briggs that hosted movies like this on Saturday nights. He even interviewed the Sidaris’ before and after the film. He would always give a tally of all the boobs and violent deaths in the film before it played. 😂
@@OSW The interview after the movie (HTTH) was pretty funny. That interview was also the lead in to Dominion Tank Police (the first time I ever saw anime). JBB called anime “Japanino Cartoons!” 😂 It was a different time.

A secret of 80s action schlock is that most of them are pretty boring outside of a few scenes. Hard Ticket to Hawaii, Death Wish 3 and Miami Connection are the three that absolutely deliver on every stereotype

The Skateboarder, Stachey, was played by Russ Howell, who is probably one of the greatest skateboarders to ever live. But he does the freestyle competition, not the extreme.
OH YEAH! Love this film! It's dumb, but it's the fun kind of dumb that you love unironically. Little issues here and there, not perfect. But it's a fucking ball, can of coke (The soda) or Mr. Sidaris and the Miss. Also also, I have one of the colored VHS tapes from Lunchmeat VHS, it's a great one.
Did anyone notice the phone wiretap lady looked a little bit umm weird, something was off Also the skater doll scene is one of the most WTF scenes in cinema 😂
I would pay good money to see this film re-imagined as a CAPCOM CPS2 styled beat em up including a boss fight with the Cancer Rat Snake as a bonus boss.
