I wanted to watch some satisfactory gameplay, saw the title but quickly realized this is exactly what I've been wanting from a satisfactory video, chill vibes, really good explanations and cool projects! Keep it up!!
I like the idea you have for your train tracks, such as at 1:06:33 where the single track is fit on a single foundation, and then the beams are used as rail guards, it's a nice aesthetic and I feel like incorporating something similar in some builds for my own world lol :D
I agree with the smaller systems approach. The large assembly lines look neat, but the smaller systems let you expand much easier and decorating or adding finer details is a lot easier.
Boy, howdy!!! That is the purddiest greenhouse I have ever seen!!! And all those CO² generators will make your plants thrive!!! Better be a real good cash crop!!! I recommend a big selection of heirloom garlic, herbs and tomatoes. That way you can automate a real good spaghetti sauce to go with your conveyors and pipes!!! 😂 Seriously, best video yet! ❤❤❤
As little tip, when you still have the rescan availible on a hard drive. You can still get newer recipes when you unlock them, no matter when you researched the hard drive. So in the case of rocket fuel you could have just rescan a already researched one and since you had all other recipes unlocked you would have gotten it instantly. And you shouldn't use the extra headlift from the pumps. I always had issues that just emerged after some time, and not using the extra headlift fixed the issue. Also for the nitrogen, if you use a train, using a canister loop and package your nitrogen will be much more efficient than the fluid trains. Especially since 4m³ of Nitrogen turn into 1 packaged nitrogen per minute. So your 1200m³ turn into 300 packaged Nitrogen per minute. A bit more to setup, but much more reliable than the fluid trains.
That's a great tip! I don't know why I scanned a new one, I did the rescan for the last video. I love the changes to the Hard Drives and the addition of the Hard Drive Library. That's a great point about the Nitrogen. Normally I'm not a fan of packaging to transport liquids because you can carry 50% more but you need twice as many freight cars because of the empty canisters and it doesn't feel worth it. With the compression it makes it much more reasonable. I'll keep that in mind next time I need Nitrogen, thanks!
Amazing build! Simple, powerful, and beautiful. I learned SO much from watching this video, from quick train track construction to 4x fuel generator blueprints to knowing that rocket fuel is a gas. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but with Mk3 miners, couldn't you build the same capacity power plant in the Blue Crater without having to transport by train your coal, sulfur, and nitrogen? I don't know if the space in the Crater is big enough, though, especially with a geyser in the middle. Keep up the excellent videos!
Thank you very much! I learned A LOT building this. Power plants are always fun to build for some reason. I'm pretty sure you are correct and the Blue Crater would have been a much better location. It would have needed a little more logistics to get started since I would have wanted a train line out there, but once you are there everything is right at your finger tips. The silly reason I did it in the Spire Coast is that I wanted it next to the 18GW power plant to show that it wasn't that much bigger. And then I mention that once I think LOL
@@moo121 I'd love to see the thought process you have around utilizing trains when making secondary items, including if you do any advanced programming when sending items. Would you be willing to do an advanced train guide, beyond the basics that are on RUclips for how to assemble tracks and program basic routes? That's assuming you don't just use simple push-pull routes (obviously calculating throughput to ensure smooth item flow). Again, thank you!!
An advanced Train Guide is something I have wanted to make for a while. Then at the end of my last playthrough I had all sorts of train issues. I added too many trains and the traffic was just enough to slow throughput on tons of things. This playthrough I decided to brute force the issue and all I'm using is push-pull trains. I haven't even unlocked signals haha I'll probably go back to normal train use next playthrough and really spend the time doing trains right. Then hopefully I'll be able to put together a good advanced guide.
I went the easy route and upgraded my turbofuel plant to rocket fuel. Seeing as though I had built in 4 modules, it was very simple. Went from 50k to 160k power and only used 20 blenders and a few more generators.
Sometimes the easy route is also the smart route! If I already had a turbofuel plant I may have done the same. That’s a really nice power upgrade for only adding a little bit, very cool!
lov ur vids i am not critisizing just an idea for the comment readers much simpler way would be one mk2 blueprint. converting 30oil to 120 fuel and then 3 mk bluebrints of 4*240% fuel gens on top just 4 mk2 blueprint of top of each other to convert 30 oil to 7200 mw amazing videos btw
After i see this ,i think i just made my system super compact(not finished yet tho ,im still setting fuel generators, halfway at there). I fit 200 generators full overclocked and 16 blender(half for fuel, half for rocket fuel),32 refinaries over the ocean at blue crater. Planned total genaration of power is 250000 MW(rocket fuel blenders have 2 somersloops in it).i forgot to mention for this much rocket fuels there is just enough of nitrogen at blue crater(overclocked as well)
Very cool! That’s a real healthy amount of power. The Blue Crater is a fantastic place to do that power plant. And it’s a great looking biome. Good luck!
The picture mode is great! When I use the hoverpack the hands still show up though. I know 'H' will hide what's in your hands like the gun, but I haven't figured out how to hide the hoverpack. If you know how to get rid of those hands I will be forever grateful!
Hi! I have run into an issue with the pipelines. I run 4 mk1 pipes of 300 nitrogen gas into this plant. Though after a day or so the nitrogen is running out. I feel like I have to start overproducing the gas to run 4 mk2 pipes to ensure it's all fine, as 4x300 is apparently causing issues since it needs 1200
Hello! Sorry to hear you are having trouble with the pipes. If you are using trains like I am make sure you have a mk2 pipe to load and unload it because pipes and belts pause during the docking and undocking animation. If you aren't then maybe all mk2 pipes would help. I did it on accident because I thought it was 400 per pipe. So I guess it was good I didn't fix it. Good luck!
@@moo121 Hi! I ended up redoing all of my pipework all the way up to the nitrogen gas. I don't like using the fluid cars on trains, they stink. Either way, this fixed it for me. We are now 8 hours later (dedicated server) and all blenders are still full on nitrogen.
Absolutely! This should be fairly easy to scale up or down. I tried to make a shorter video to go over just the recipes and blueprints. ruclips.net/video/6w3vw-2fcEM/видео.html Good luck!
Any chance you could post the blueprints you use in your video by name? You have a bunch of blueprints in your google drive and its hard to tell which ones are used for which project.
That’s a terrific idea, thanks! You bring up a good point, it’s a bit disorganized. I tend to just keep adding and now it’s getting cluttered. The ones for this video should be in the Rocket Fuel folder.
You bet! CPU : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz GPU : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 RAM : 32 GB And a couple Samsung SSDs. You are the first to ask, I don't remember if there are other relevant specs I'm missing.

This was your best video so far. The roof on the power plant ended up looking great
Thank you, I really appreciate that!
Great video and information! Can't thank you enough for sharing, especially your awesome blueprint library!

The 4 fuel generator blueprint is a game changer
Doesn't work for me, the pipeline junction doesn't fit...... help me
144,000 MW at P4 is hilarious. Gorgeous build!
Overkill is underrated :)

What recipes do I need all in all to recreate this? Apparat from Turbo fuel in the mam?
Only 3 alt recipes needed. Heavy Oil Residue, Diluted Fuel, and Nitro Rocket Fuel. Good luck!
Can you tell me what specs you have in your PC?
You bet!

That 600oil->144.000mwh is i was planed do too
Good luck! I really enjoyed building this one.
If it makes you feel any better, you just showed me where to find the Rocket Fuel recipe too... //facepalm//
Then it was all worth it. Glad it was helpful!
from one overclocked pure oil node, you get 144000MW?? how
