Rightly said at the end, you need to test ride the bike. I was so inclined to buy RE, but ended up purchasing Honda. Engine was the reason.. its at another level than RE. This bike is still a headturner and I still get curious enquirers at petrol pumps and out of city places. Feels good. It also feels funny when some people call it "Honda ki Bullet"

Choosing between Classic 350 Reborn and Honda CB 350 is totally dependent on individual preferences and tastes. The best way is to take a long ride (at least 40- 50 km) and then one can get a real feel of what works and what does not. Both are good in their own way. Honda is obviously a more refined engine and has a lighter weight and has slipper clutch. It is much more easier to handle when stationary. Classic, on the other hand, has a much better feel and connect (impossible to define what it means). Only when you do a ride you would realise this. It is much more planted on the road and the seats are better. Also, the short gearing is a huge blessing. And although the extra weight is a problem while parking, but if you look at it another way, that slight bit of extra weight and that slight hint of rawness makes it that much more appealing when you ride it. Who appeals more - Smita Patil or Rekha ? Ranbir Kapoor or Ranveer Singh ? All are great in their own ways. For those who like the Smita / Ranbir style with class are likely to go for Honda CB 350, and for those who like the Rekha / Ranvir style with naughtiness may probably go for the Classic 350 ! Getting the hint ! Please don't take it too seriously, the comparisons are just on a lighter note !

Well said brother. To each his own.
I don't see why they can't coexist and why people have to prove one is better than the other. It's a matter of choice. Maybe Honda has more to offer in terms of figures ... But like you said .. RE has feel and connect. Not exactly quantifiable, but you know it exists.
Best option is to take it for a ride and see what suits you.

What's the service interval for both bikes ? And estimated service cost?
In my area both the authorised RE center and regular Honda Dealers (not bigwing) have a reputation of being thoroughly incompetent. RE so much so that people apparently dread to ask them to fix problems for fear of getting back a few more. For a recreational toy, heart still wants RE. For a tool, brain prescribes CB350.

A new chain usually stretches a little after 300+ miles & you can add a larger rear sprocket without having to add more chain links. Often this is easier than putting a smaller front sprocket on & removing links. I would probably do this if I had the Honda but these wonderful bikes are not sold in my country.

I am an owner of classic reborn 350 and this bike is really amazing when it comes to long rides, comfort, no vibrations, customisation options, service availability, retro look and RE brand value in India.
I took test ride of both the bikes and i feel honda is way more refined than RE but its tall gearing is really not comfortable for city rides. Less service centres is also one of the reason for not considering this bike and one of the reason is the resale value.
RE is just like an iPhone, everyone might not like them but the resale value is always good.
Its like honda appeals to your mind and RE to heart.
I think it depends on individual about their preferences too. And trust me, RE has really worked on their bikes and i feel they are more reliable now from the old generation models.

Iske mudguards ki length thodi choti hai iski wajah se dirt seedha engine ko jaada lag rahi.

Upar se classic ke price asman chu rahe hai, ab jab classic ka road presence he nahi raha all because everyone owns it, then why to get it? Isse better yeh hai ke or dekh lo kam se kam ek road presence to milega. Today i saw yezdi scrambler, bilkul unique vibes aayi dekhke. But since yezdi has the first iteration of bike I wont buy because usme issues ayenge, rahi bat Honda ke, trustworthy engine jahan bhi jayu ya le jayu i can blindly trust in this japanese machine 🔥❤️

Spoke wheels offroad & highway dono pe reliable hai but tube type aatey hai , lekin tubeless karwa sakte ho....agar offroad pasand hai ladakh trip ya koi si bhi tough terrain...wahi alloy wheels highway roads ke liye zyada banaye jaatey hai, handling milti hai, mileage mai madad karta hai, lightweight rehta hai aur tubeless tyre ke saath aata hai... City mai hi chalana hai to alloy se kaam chal jayega lekin lambi adventure trip pe jane ka objective ho to spoke ko tubeless karwalena

Please make a video about the engine power drop at the higher gear..whenever i ride this bike in the highways it is very difficult to maintain a constant speed of 70 to 80kmph in the Indian roads. When it's plying at 80kmph there is no issue but if i have to slow down the bike to 60kmph keeping the gear in the 5th position the engine starts struggling. Then i have to downshift to 4th gear and then again after speeding up to 70kmph then i can put it in the 5th gear. Between this 60 to 70kmph the bike struggles to keep the gear in the 5th position. That's why i need to change the gear so many times from 5th to 4th. I know it is a long stroke engine and may be because of this the bike struggles to keep the 5th position in 60kpmh. But if you raise this issue may be they come up with an ecu update to resolve.
