There is no logical integer limit that stops at exactly 1M AFAIK. It's probably just in game code that says if money is >= 1M, set it to 999K etc... Changing the data type wouldn't be reasonable. And besides, since its a shop menu, it probably has no item attached to it and at most will just take your money.

lets go is in the first gen
at least i think
its considered gen 7, remakes like ORAS while a remake of gen 3 is considered a gen 6 game for carrying mechanics from X&Y, Same for HGSS with DPPT and FRLG with RSE. Lets go is unique though since its on a seperate console and you can't bring in pokemon from other generations except the alolan forms of the gen 1 pokemon.
