Not sure which version you were using in this tutorial but it doesn't seem to work in the latest version with the latest version of the plugin. Been banging my head against a wall all afternoon following your steps carefully and it just fails. Can you tell me the exact version of the QGIS and the plugin that was used in this video please.
Hi! Thanks for this precious and usefull tutorial! I ran into a problem during the final stage of the processing. In particular, even though I checked the "Binary viewshed" option, the output raster is not composed by a binary structure (0= not visible; 1 = visible) but by a "continue" structure that covers the range from 0 to 4. How can I resolve this problem?
sounds like you did multiple points so it added up all the points data into the resultant viewshed, part 2 of this video actualy talsk about this feature.

when I change the coordinate system of the DEM file to a local projected one, it goes away from the google maps basis, how to fix this?
this should not happen. You can try to convert in other CRS like EPSG 3857
I have followed your video but It is showing memory error when I run viewshed option.
very good tutorrial !
Thanks
i'm using qgis 3.28 and i can install visibility analysis plugin

Nice video. But always get the error "Viewpoint in the chosen area"...this is driving me insane..
Did u already find a solution? Got the same issue...
@@magnihugemann7699 yes. The DEM needs to be saved as a GeoTif. And then you can use the GeoTif.
