i feel like FF 7 remake and rebirth get overlooked so frequently.
this has been the best voice cast for any game in a very very long time.

John got asked one of the toughest, most long winded questions and gave the most perfect, beautiful answer. What a human.
Not only is his Barrett absolute perfection (no one could do it better), he just happens to be the kind of guy you can't do anything but love. What a great dude! They really managed to assemble a GREAT cast. I know FF7 since the day it originally came out and this cast nailed the roles.
@@WithGas Same. 7 was my favourite game for 25 years. I was so skeptical of the remakes. I think Rebirth might be my favourite game now! I never believed they could cast the characters so well.

Don’t forget Metaphor is coming out next month. But at the moment yes this is my nominee. I spent 182 hours playing this game for the platinum trophy. Got it 3 1/2 weeks after release.

The English Voices always sound WAAAAY better than the Japanese Voices. At least the English voices don't sound High pitched for the females, and the English Male voices has more variety and not robotic
@@Mrs.JekyllI understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but "robotic" is the last term I'd use to describe either of the casts.
Why can't we acknowledge that both voice-casts did a great job without demeaning the other?
I was not prepared to cry let alone sob at the story of Barret's voice actor. I love this game and I love this cast and the love everyone put in is really shining through.
Wow! What a magical moment! I cried, laughed, smiled, hyped, everything in less than 2 hours!

Love the whole cast both American and Japanese VA's and absolutely love the development team. What a time to be alive to experience this greatness.
Everyone in the cast is phenomenal but man I hope John gets nominated for best performance at the Game Awards. His acting throughout the game was stellar, but the emotional scenes with Dyne and Myrna were incredible and hearing how John prepped for those moments was beautiful.

I was here. It was incredible! Otakon this year was a Final Fantasy con lowkey.
Probably the best Otakon ever because of that. The line prior to this was so much fun seeing everyone in cosplay. Meeting the VAs and getting Kitase-San, Hamaguchi-San, and Endo-San’s signatures was also exciting.
so good seeing Kitase out and about I have been a FF fan for 30+ years and I have never seen him make this many public appearances in such a short space of time thank you for your work on all the games you have made
Dude everyone standing up for John I'm tearing up man. Hope he wins best performance or something at gameawards. This cast couldnt be more perfect

I'm really looking forward to part 3! Hopefully all of these new elements with the multiverse will lead to a satisfying conclusion and not just result in the same as OG.

This is by far one of the best voice cast for a game in the industry. Both FF7 (OG and Remake trilogy) are masterpieces. Rebirth is GOTY 20024.

Lord…Listening to John’s story almost left me in tears. When it came to watching the original game, I would sometimes say “What’s Barrett’s problem?” Now, after playing Remake and going through Rebirth, I am rooting for him. His moments with Sector 7 getting destroyed and losing Dyne left me sobbing. John has really brought Barret to life and I had decided to call Barret “Papa Bear” because he is wanting to protect those he trusts and loves. Everyone else is also fantastic. I am hoping to hear Cody, John, Britt, Brianna, Max, Suzie, Paul, J Michael, and Matt continue to perform as the characters we have come to love and root for. Their performances are spot on.
Damn that Barrett and Dyne scene hits harder now knowing how John Bentley was feeling during recording. Love that man ❤
I cried too john bentley your the best, I love ff7 its means a lot to me too, I lost my parents when I was 7th year old and playing ff7 original back then help me cop with my lost, and make me keep on living, I wont be living now if not for FF7, thank you all the devs, thank you kitase-san, nomura-san, uematsu-san and everyone in square, cant wait for the 3rd part of FF7 remake, I have tilte suggestion, how about FF7 Revergent :)

I wish that there was a spanish voice translation and not only subs in the game, but I must admit that the english cast is amazing, and how the actor of Barret put his soul into this is amazing, my respect and best wishes for them all, can't wait for the third one
Prior to this they were playing the ff7 ost climbing Mt Nibel theme while we were waiting, was surreal and got us all hyped
They got to win this and place Final Fantasy 7 back in Hall of Fame.

Why do people still act like the Remake parts take forever? The first one took a few years because CC2 basicly wasted 2 years and they had to start over development in house, which then only took 2-3 years. And Rebirth only took 3-4 years, which is nothing considering the size of that game and compared to the average 6-7 years of most other AAA games.

Some of the most memorable and beautiful characters/story ever made in video game history. Remake and rebirth were a work of art masterpieces. These creators are what you call talent and creativity. Take notes western studios.

Brit Baron's voice is just perfect. If she dress up like Tifa, I will really go head over heels for her. Nah I won't do that but I will be amazed if she does that. Perfect voice for Tifa's character. 👍

I’m really enjoying these games! I’ve been a fan of Brie for years so I’m stoked she voices Aerith, and I knew she would understand how important and meaningful the character is. The other actors also did a phenomenal job as well, with special mention to John who has poured everything into his performance. Because of it Barret went from one of my least favourite characters to one of my favourites.
Why is it that Tyler Hoechlin is constantly not visible in any promotional activity for FFVII - Ok, he has been filming Superman & Lois but I am sure that is not the reason
All of these actors are very proud for working on FFVII, even when they can not attend events, but Hoechlin is the only who does not even celebrate on his socials the releases of the games. Being positive, I think this may be because of his character role particularly for the remakes, the character knows things, like he knows spoilery stuff. But his silence it’s still hella weird.

@@tonyupham354 There is zero chance he's done the voice work for all 3 instalments. The developers don't have the games mapped out so comprehensively so far in advance.
Officially he's said it's due to scheduling conflicts.
Personally I wonder whether the comparison of his VA to George Newbern has negatively impacted his enthusiasm for FFVII promotion. This is of course speculation, much like our wild theories of what will happen in part 3

Gongod forbid you have to figure out where to go.
Gongango is a literal rain forest so it’s a rainforest. Is it the best not entirely compared to the other regions but it’s designed to be a rainforest, they’re not usually fun to navigate in real life too.
