2016+ Camaro Live View Mirror Upgrade

Gen5DIY now has the kit available to add the live-view inside mirror option into your 16-18 model Camaro. This kit utilizes the roof mounted camera that is part of the GPS antenna assembly. Kit includes a brand new inside mirror, brand new camera/antenna assembly, power cable and camera cable. The camera/antenna assembly does come painted in gloss black from GM. If looking for a different color or finish you will need to have that done at a facility of your choice. Gen5DIY does not offer painting or wrapping services.

When GM started installing these camera kits in 2019 they also changed the location of where the On-Star buttons are located. In the 16-18 models those buttons are on the mirror assembly, starting in 2019 they are now in the overhead console assembly. Unfortunately the 2019+ on-star buttons cannot just be added to the overhead console in your 16-18. You will lose the direct touch on-star button, but can still access the on-star features thru the main menu on your dash.

This product will not work with convertibles
Install Notes:
Installation does require you to lower the rear of the headliner to access the antenna mounting bolt. The headliner does not need to come completely out of the car.
Please note that photos were taken on a 2018 ZL1/1LE model and we did have the antenna wrapped in a carbon fiber finish.
When ordering please allow up to 3 weeks before receiving the product. Also please include your vin # and please choose if you have a sunroof or without a sunroof, as the antennas are slightly different.

What if you don't have the stock connector up by the stock mirror? I haven't checked for it yet but I have the manual flip mirror in my 19 SS and was looking to upgrade to this.

IM LOOKING FOR ANYONE WITH A REMOVAL VIDEO AT LEAST. And it’s so annoying there’s not one video. There’s a guy that says it’s a twist off but he doesn’t say where I’m supposed to twist it from and I don’t wanna break it or scratch it
