The blur has improved and is more peripheral than front and center so thankful to be making progress. Increasing steroid drops now to hopefully keep pushing this along. It's a slow process but I'm optimistic. This video was definitely more of a challenge but trying to find that balance of making progress and keeping busy 🙏🏼

I upgraded to the Airpods Pro 2 from the 1st gen and it's still a night and day difference. The transparency and noise cancelling modes are wild.
So how do upgrades for AirPods work? Do you just buy them outright or trade them in?

Glad I watched this. Hope you are feeling better. I was on the fence about the pods. 14pro max costs a few bucks. So does the pods. I’ve been using my galaxy buds pro 2. They are great & play well with the 14. Definitely needed to hear this.. decision made… Gota get pods for the iPhone.

i have buds pro and airpods pro 1 and 2 the fit is the best for me on pro 2 they feel so light
Good choice. If u got an iPhone go with the AirPods, if you got a Samsung get the Buds 2 Pro.
Completely agree with the comment at the beginning. My AirPods have been my favourite tech purchase over the last couple years. Nothing gets used more.
I appreciate the advice that you probably don’t need to upgrade to these if you already have the OG pros… but I’m still wanting to go for it. They sound too good. And I want that “find me” functionality for when the AirPods are in the case 😂

I received them earlier today and was shocked with the A/B tests. I already thought the old ones were amazing but these are next level, cannot understand how apple does it! Bass and low mids have a LOT more clarity and depth, whilst anc being insanely good. 9/10!

Nice review, but I'm missing one big point: The microphone quality. Having the 1st gen Pros, I had several folks I phoned complaining about the noise the picked up when I walked down a road with cars passing me. It seems like they weren't able to understand me at all and I had friends with the 1st gen Pros having the same problem. Is that still the case with the 2nd gen Pros?
Try activating voice isolation in control center when you're on call! Should fix it!
@@mrboinkers I wasn’t aware of that feature, so thanks a lot for pointing it out! Works great with any internet call, but that isn’t available on regular phone calls… :/

I just got this. It's my first AirPods. I've used my friends AirPods in the past and wasn't impressed for the price tag it had. This is one, it's fun to experience the features. The sound just has so much more quality! The base has this clear feel and also poppy! Yet to experience and test the noise cancellation and transparency mood.

got mine today and im blown away. god knows whats inside these tiny things but its amazing.
I just bought them at the Apple store today. They sound amazing and it’s hard to go back. Now the original AirPod pros sound tinny and two loud and no bass compared to the new ones
Do you have an iPhone 14? Or another model. Just asking because the new model might make the new gen of pros better because of Bluetooth 5.3

I’ve noticed that the noise cancelling and especially transparency have gotten worse over time for the original AirPods Pro. I got both earbuds replaced about a week apart and you could really tell that the old one had way worse transparency and noise cancelling. I’d like to try seeing the difference between a new original airpods and a new AirPods Pro 2
They probably need cleaning.
Clean the earwax out of them instead of buying a new pair lmao
Only some models had problems with noise cancelling getting worse especially those produced in 2020. Normal 1st gen AirPods Pro didn’t get worse over time.
Or maybe you just need to clean them
Noise cancellation is still trash on the 2nd gen

With how badly my original airpods battery degraded after just a year, causing me to have to throw them out, i don’t think I’d never buy another pair of airpods, no matter what. Such an awful experience. That being said, these look great and I’m sure they sound awesome.
I really wanna try them bc they finally did a smaller silicon tip. I loved the product when I bought them but they just hurt my ears so much bc I have smaller ear canals. Fingers crossed they’ll work for small ears finally cuz the AirPods 3 are SO painful for my small ears so I’ve been stuck with AirPods 2 for years.
These will be the lowest sold air pods, Apple should’ve changed the design a bit since the consumers are always looking for something different. Obviously the performance is important but most people buy the newest air pods to separate themselves from the other ones.
I just hope they won’t add a software update to IOS16 and iPad OS 16 that will make the airpods pro gen 1 sound worse
Listening to this on my AirPods Pro’s 2 and they’re actually so much better than the original AirPod pros

I have an issue with my AirPods, when I’m watching RUclips videos. The videos gets paused or when the advertising clip is played this gets paused. Or the clip pauses and the sound plays and vice versa…
Do you notice something similar?
I’m your opinion do u like the silicon tips on the pros or no tips on the other AirPods?
I bought Airpods pro 2 with USBC to see if I could get use to the ear tips and I found that I couldn’t wear them for more then an hour. Then my ears would start to hurt. I only used them with the medium ear tips, so I don’t know if I needed to use a small eair tip or what, but I ended up returning them to apple after 4 days of having them which sucked because I like the speaker at the bottom of the case and the fact that you can see the battery percentage on your phone even if the airpods pro lid is closed. I say all that to say that the regular airpods third generation are more comfortable then the pros because they don’t have the silicone ear tips.

Why why why y’all don’t talk about phone call quality in these reviews it’s crazy how everybody hides the fact that it’s absolutely terrible for this price range.

Just picked mine up. Went back and forth between the OG Pros and these…. Well, I have heard a number of reviews and some say the sound quality is a little better and some say it’s night and day. I have to say Morrison is correct. Better base at low and high end. I think they sound overall my clear and crisp at the high and mid range. Overall, these are much better. On therms of sound quality of the OG’s were say a 5 out of 10, these are 8 out of 10.
The og ones are a solid 7/10 not 5/10tf? Lol they sound amazing. I listen to Apple Music all the time and it sounds great. The new ones are an 8.5/10. All it’s missing is lossless audio support over Bluetooth and maybe an extra hour of battery life and they’ll be perfect.
so is upgrade worth it? i’m thinking about an upgrade

@@MotivationalShorts_682 I was debating on upgrading but watched all the reviews. This is a big upgrade so many new features and all around much better. For me, sound quality is must important and I am impressed.

Actually these do have a better 'codec' -- or at least increased bandwidth. These are Bluetooth 5.4, which should give you fully uncompressed audio - BUT only if you're using an iPhone 14, which also has Bluetooth 5.4. Also I'm going to guess none of the music services have been upgraded yet to take advantage of this, but I'd assume Apple Music will add it soon.
And yet MKBHD will find a way to shit on this product somehow. That dude sucks.

The extra noise cancellation is so good , I can finally hear my own music instead of the loud gym music that would sometimes interfere with my 1st gen iPods pro
Too bassy for my taste, the original AP Pros sound better for music but the 2nd gen are great for watching Netflix, or RUclips etc. But noise cancelling and transparency are definitely slightly better, and the features definitely make it an upgrade

I agree the AirPods Pro would be one of those great apple products. I have had some technical issues though with the crackling issue. They replaced them but now it has returned in the replacement. I am hoping version 2 solves the problem.
I want them so bad, but AirPods have NEVER fit in my ears. Every version has slipped and fallen out of my ears :/
The airpods Pro 1Gen when head tracking was on still the up and down motion was there but now is more evident and with the personalize ear what hapends is its tuned to your unique ear shape and form so the calculations of the audio will be done base on how the audio bounces on your ears rather than the relative movement of the head vs the position of the recording. *caps flys away*

You know these are the ones I wanted when I first thought of AirPods Pro so I bought these even despite being super expensive earbuds but I use them a lot and often so I might have an extra pair of AirPods but I know I’m gonna use them and like them so yep bought them. I got slight regret cause it’s a lot of money 😅but I figured I can hand down my pair cause they’re pretty new.

Awesome video, would have liked to get to know if they improved the microphones. This is the only part of my gen 1 that is really awful. Everybody complains when I use them as mics in calls. Would be nice to hear if they changed this :) Maybe someone has experience here?
Same here, i cannot use them when i'm on the phone around a noisy street. If they've fixed this issue then all good to go!

First time AirPods user here, my AirPods Pro 2 came today. I’ve used galaxy buds in some form or another since their creation. Trying to make AirPods fit in my ears has been a struggle, but I think I’ve got them! Might have to upgrade to some memory foam tips, too used to them not moving at all lol.

I love my Ipod Pro 1, it's still running well after more than 2 years. Active Noise Cancelling function works perfectly and the sound quality is more than enough for an mature listener like me.

The most impressive part of this whole video is the talking head audio not having reverb in that huge space
Awesome video! I watched this using my first gen AirPods Pro's and, absolutely they still kill with the audio quality, however due to my work environment (im a maintenance tech at a condo, and I deal with very noisy pool filter rooms) I gotta get the new ones and see if thee noise cancellation has actually improved, while these do a fairly good job reducing the noise, they don't quite get enough of it.

Moved from Sony Xm3 in ears to these. APP 2’s are AMAZING! noise cancelling is on par with my Sony XM3 over ear headphones. They are not only the most comfortable in ears I have used, they sounds great too!

Hope you make an AirPods Pro 2 review after a while. A thing to note on the first gen is the high pitch whine when you press the stem after a long while of use (heard when in transparency mode)
