How much do the Airpods Pro 2 USB-C weigh with the box? So the complete package still sealed.
You mentioned that the fake Airpods have matching serial numbers on the case and the earpieces. I am looking at a used pair now and the serial number on the case matches the earpieces but are referring to the the different serial numbers you find in the settings menu when you tap on the serial number and it should display a "L" and "R" serial number? I bought a AirPods Pro’s 2 usb a few weeks ago from a friend but the pull tabs were smooth not hard, the AirPods had different serial numbers but the only thing what’s wrong with my AirPods are that there are a few options on my AirPods. But overall they sound great and thx for the video 🔥

Another thing people seem to have overlooked - the fakes have so space between “(S)” and “Serial Number”, real ones do.

My parents bought a pair the fake ones are able pull the ear tips out which is crazy not only that but it uses lighting cable not instead of usb c. Another thing that I tested was it shows on find my iPhone however it doesn’t play a sounds the case and headphones share the same serial number. Still has the green light once it pairs it shows white

Mine are exactly the same as the real one shown in vid in every small and minute detail.The only thing that is weird is that in apple website they had me type in purchase date, instead of showing it, and also the model number printed on airpods are A3049, but on the settings on iphone it shows A3048. Hey, I got a pair -- can't remember but I don't think the tabs were smooth. But the case itself is like the real one you described. It even boots up like real airpods when you begin. But, it is missing some of the settings, etc. Is it possible they are improving some things to look more legit? I have problems with connectivity, charging, and microphone. Assuming this is fake but it beat some of your criteria. Thanks for any thoughts you have!
Definitily they are improving some points over time. I also got a pair of fake airpods 2 (intentionally) to test.
I was able to remove one of the eartips, but the other teared apart and I wasn't able to fit the replacement eartips in neither of them.

@@abillity2188 I first used it and I had to do the set up as the fake AirPods. The stickers and everything are the same but when I open/used them my settings >> Bluetooth didn’t say AirPods2 or was it AirPods1? Idk if just said my name with AirPods Pro Lol my back piece gray colors are identical af to each other im assuming the fake ones are improving? Idk but my noise cancelling doesn’t sound different at all either so idk
Edit: even the warranty and VIN numbers are ALL the same while my brothers old ones (I believe last Gen are all different.) I bought mine off of someone for 70 so yeah Lol I don’t mind though
There are few more things to be added.
The fake ones pauses very frequently automatically as they are very sensitive
Secondly it will start showing some issues like active noise cancellation issue once u update your phone. You might also notice that Stereo option will disappear after sometime. But yes sound wise if someone wants to use this pods they can use it
One more thing I noticed they produce ear pain after sometime compared to the original ones.

From what I'm seeing the only way to tell if they fake right off the back is two things, if they are sealed the fake ones don't have the apple distributor information on the box; now the actual aipods them self won't light up while charging when you tap the case.
I am confused with the bottom of the box on mine… everything seems legit but the text where the barcode and serial number is, is embossed on mine lol (no sticker).🤔
Another thing is that the fake ones still have a delay after many times of trying to reset my phone, reboot the system inside of the fake airpods as for the original regular gen 1 airpods i have experienced absolutely NO noise delay whatsoever

The fake also has a warranty. Since their serial numbers are apple serial numbers, the warranty of those used serial numbers automatically applies.
What you should take note also is that there are some features on iPhone 15 that might not be available for 12, 11 series

I just bought some for 93.00 USD. They seem real, everything you have mentioned, show that they are real, except for the pull tabs. There messy, mine has white usb-c port and the charging port doesn’t make noise when shaking box. I don’t know if there fake or not, I see them on my find my app on my iPad, I just can’t get the to sync to iPad. I’m not sure
does it even matter lol, unless you are trying to produce professional music and are listening to it... it doesnt really matter. you paid like 1/3 of the price so who cares as long as you can use it and listen to whaterver you want haha

I have both fake and genuine AirPods Pro 2, but let me tell you, the difference between the fake and authentic ones is significant. Just by the sound alone, you can immediately tell if they're fake, and the fake ones easily get damaged, especially the sensitivity of the buttons. That's why you should always choose the authentic ones. Always opt for quality.

I have warranty in my settings but mine says “assembled in china” and the serial numbers on both pods match (which to my knowledge shouldn’t be so)
@@flightsrage1648 Yeah I have to retract my statement from before. My fakes also had a warrenty in settings. Short answer is if the serials match they're fake, Apple says they are different from the Apple factory.
Another thing I noticed on fake ones is the sound it makes when they’re plugged into a charger. I don’t believe real ones make a sound, plus the sound that the fake ones make when plugged in just sounds cheap.
How come they make the difficult bits look perfect, but simple stuff like labels or stickers, they don't replicate properly?

Until I watched this video I’ve alway been sure may AirPods are original, every thing you have identified on these fake ones are the very ones I have. But the sound is really good, noise cancellation is there and transparency. But there is no adaptive sound and case sound and the serial numbers on both AirPods are the same. These fake EarPods are just an inch away from the origins ones.

You are not going to get past pulling the box tabs, the seller isn't likely to let you pull before buying so all you have to go on is the little perforations on the fake box, you don't have to go any further then

That EXACTLY what I was thinking, you basically only have whatever is outside the box! The first pair of Apple headphones I ever bought I ended up getting scammed not long after the AirPod Pro 2’s were released because I’m not really into tech and I wasn’t aware that faking Apple products was even a thing. In fact I had to take them into the Apple Store over an hour away from my house to find out and even she (well I think it was a woman but given that it was an Apple Store which is a leftist/communist haven like Starbucks is for them or a gun store is for people on the Right/Conservatives) couldn’t tell right away until she looked up the serial number at which point she told me they were fakes but even she said it was “impressive deep faking” (which I didn’t know what that meant because I’m not up on what kids slang is today because I’m nearly 40 years old I simply do not care) so I didn’t feel as stupid for getting ripped off. Although it still hurt because I’m a disabled combat veteran living on a very LOW AND FIXED INCOME so if I ever buy anything like that it takes me a while to save up for it. So to spend 6 months saving for them only to find out they were FAKE was INFURIATING especially because THEY SUCKED Needless to say every pair I’ve bought since that incident has come from either Target, Best Buy, or Apple Directly!
I think the speakers on the fakes dont work as well, if you tell siri "find my airpods" it won't play sound.
So I wouldn’t care if they are original or not. The sound is so good. But I love noise canceling and on the fakes… it’s not it. Note: I buyed mine thinking they were real ones
