I live in Norwich and have done for the last 33 years. Once you've come to Norfolk it gets into your soul and you either keep visiting or like me remain.
Very much enjoyed this video. Spending 2 weeks on the Norfolk Broads next year and you have given us some more great ideas for places to visit. Thank you.
What a beautiful video! It was very nostalgic seeing Wells-Next-to-the-Sea and Great Yarmouth, as both were places I would visit as a child during the school holidays. I'm sure you've already been told this, but Cromer is a beautiful seaside town, as is Sheringham. I totally recommend walking across the salt marshes around Wells and Stiffkey, it is very picturesque and has a lot of wildlife. I would also recommend visiting the Norfolk coast around the New Year to see the seal pups. They are lovely as long as you keep a respectful distance of course. Overall, very beautiful video! Made me appreciate my home a lot more.
Thanks a lot for your recommendations! We have heard great things about Cromer and Sheringham, and walking across the salt marshes sounds like something we would enjoy. And seeing the seal pups of course! So many lovely looking places to visit in Norfolk! Thanks a lot for watching and commenting, I'm glad you enjoyed the video 🙂
I'm from Norfolk, wish I still lived there! Cley next the sea is my favourite village, lovely windmill and the best deli in the world. Burnham Market and Holt are nice little towns, slightly inland and Burnham Deepdale has lovely coastal marsh walks. Holkham is the best beach, it's just along from Wells and Holkham hall is beautiful. There is a lovely boat trip from Blakeney to sea the seals on the sand spit, they seem to be there all year round. Norwich is a great city, love the Elm Hill area, the castle museum, cathedral and strangers hall museum. Pleasurewood Hills is a lovely little theme park that has barely changed since I was a child! I have a soft spot for Great Yarmouth, the hippodrome building, pirate's cove golf and the wooden coaster. They have a great street performance/art annual festival in September along the seafront and in the parks.
The Elm Hill area of Norwich was so pretty, I can see why you love it! I will have to look up Pleasurewood Hills - we love theme parks (we have quite a lot of theme park videos on our channel!). Aaron loved the hippodrome building too - there seems to be some really nice architecture pocketed around Great Yarmouth. We did want to go on the wooden coaster but you had to pay for half a day entrance rather than paying for ride (at least at the moment you do ... I'm not sure if that's just for social distancing or if it usually works that way) so we gave it a miss. We will have to remember Cley Next The Sea for next time! We did originally plan to walk from Wells to Holkham but got too distracted at Wells and decided not to... I wish we had done now! Have you done that walk? We were impressed with the beaches we visited anyway so now I am even more curious about Holkham 🙂 Maybe one day you can live in Norfolk again if you want to! I can definitely see the appeal now that we have been. Thanks a lot for watching and for your thoughtful reply!
Love this video. My wife Lea & I were there in April. Made sure we did the boat hire with Broads Tours. Was excellent. A real highlight of our trip. Thanks for the recommendation.
Glad you enjoyed it, it was a highlight of our trip too! I could have happily spent the whole week pootling around the broads. Happy to hear you had a good time, thanks for watching 😊
I enjoyed your video so much! I love Norfolk and holiday there regularly. It was so nice to re-visit places I know and love via your video. I can't wait to get back when this latest lock-down is over. Thank you for cheering me up!
Great video, I lived in Norfolk as a baby in the early 70's and then moved to Norwich when I was maybe 7-8 years old til my late teens in the late 80's when I immigrated to America for a few years and then to New Zealand where I was born, I'm nearly 50 years old now and my heart still yerns to be back in Norwich, New Zealand is beautiful and is my home, but has very little history, any chance I get I always tell people to go to Norfolk if they are going on holiday to England, I'm always showing my children where dad grew up and I am proud to do so, I cycled around Norwich and surrounding areas into every nook and crany and walked the streets of this great city
Norwich sounds like such a great place to have lived! Perhaps one day you will be able to go back for a visit (even though it's the other side of the world!). From what we saw of Norwich and Norfolk I can understand why you love it so much 🙂
Hi, only just spotted your video. I am so so pleased you enjoyed my part of this wonderful country, I've traveled all over the country and seen some truly wonderful area's thar are often overlooked. If you return to Norfolk its well worth visiting the Breckland area with its stone age connections and lovely forest regions, again! Great video guys.
It's such a beautiful part of the country, I can't believe we never realised that until last year! Definitely overlooked, especially compared to places like Cornwall and Devon. I think my favourite part was bobbing around the broads on a boat, but the beaches were so pretty (and the seals were a great bonus!). Thanks a lot for your recommendation of the Breckland area, I'll give it a google. We would very happily go back to Norfolk again to see more! Thanks for watching 🙂
Oh" that was wonderful to watch as i'm originally from Kings Lynn, so spent so much time in "Hunstun" ( Hunstanton a local version before "Sunny-Hunny" ! ) and all the places you visited. LOVED IT !!
Yay I'm glad you enjoyed it! "Hunstun" - good to know! Kings Lynn was actually one of the places we considered visiting on our trip but our list of places was too long for a week so we didn't managed to squeeze it in...so many options. Thanks for watching and leaving us a lovely comment, much appreciated 😊
I think that could be the route we took from Hunstanton to Wells-Next-The-Sea (or at least we drove part of it?). Either way the drive to Wells was beautiful! A few people have mentioned Cromer as somewhere to visit. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I live in Norwich and really enjoyed this video, glad you enjoyed your holiday in Norfolk. Cromer (proper Victorian pier) and Holt are very nice, as is Blakeney (near Wells next the Sea).
Thanks so much for your recommendations! We did nearly visit Blakeney this time actually to see the seals but we ended up going to Horsey instead. We loved Norwich and would love to go for a long weekend at some point in the future. Thanks for watching and leaving us a comment 🙂
It was a busy week for sure, there was so much we wanted to see once we started researching Norfolk! Thanks very much for your kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I remember having a family members birthday on a Sunday booked a boat on the Norfolk broads in Wroxham however you spell it and went to this pub place and had a lovely carvery (night not be cheap but worth it) first time we got small boat 2nd time on the birthday we had a yacht and saw people practicing like canoeing thing so friendly on the broads waving people slowing down to say hello wishing happy b day etc love the peeps at sunny hunny aswell especially if you see the school kids in that lovely uniform (secondary school) if you go on a weekday
My brother and I did a walk along the amazing beach from Holkham to Wells Next the sea but the beach to town bit we took the little narrow gauge train as we were tuckered out by then. Had two Broads holiday in cruisers. And we're always digging out the railcards and taking a trip to the amazing city of Norwich. We live just a little way north of London so it's easy to get there via Cambridge. Everywhere you went we have memories of. Loved the video. You should have a look at Thetford if you ever go that way again. Lots of historic sites and also the location for Dad's Army.
I bet that walk between holkham and wells next the sea is beautiful! I'd love to go back to Norwich now things have opened back up properly. Thanks for recommending Thetford, I'm just having a little read about it now 🙂 Thanks for watching the video, I'm glad you liked it!
Good video! It made me chuckle about the comment of when being in your 30’s; you prefer to go to gardens (enjoying peace). My wife and I are the same haha.
Man I miss some fish and chips! Love the time lapse over the sunset, such beautiful colors! Love amusement parks, so fun! Those pastel colored beach huts are looking so beautiful!! Honestly, I had no idea about how beautiful Norfolk is, would love to visit one day!
We had no idea either - turns out it's a fantastic part of the country to visit! Thanks for watching - I hope you manage to get yourselves some fish and chips again in the not too distant future 😊 (although you get all that incredible Turkish food - yum!)
Yes! All that sounds like our cup of tea! We're sold. Fabulous tour you guys (as always). Those beach huts are just wonderful. We love it when people just go wild with color. And then all those riverfront boats. Swoon. And that final lunch of buns and noodles. Yummmmmm!
Agree on the wild on colour comment, we loved how completely mismatched all the beach huts were - it totally added to the charm! Yummm we could definitely eat the bao and noodles again. Thank you for watching 😊
Great video about my home county. Make sure next time you check out Sheringham (with its fantastic North Norfolk Railway), Cromer, Blickling Hall and Walsingham
Thank you for the recommendations! I think I remember reading about the railway when planning the trip but it was in summer 2020 so not much was open. We will have to do a future trip! I've heard lovely things about Cromer 🙂 Don't think I have heard of Walsingham so I'm going to google it now!
It's very early in the morning while I'm watching this... so when you said Elm Street I was struggling to grasp why that sounded wrong... then I woke up and remembered... it's Elm Hill. 'Elm Street' is a place of nightmares!!😱😅 Yes, my favourite area of Norwich. Did you know it's been featured in a number of films over the years?
Ah, well I am a horror film fan so I guess that explains why I accidentally did that! 😅 I didn't know about it being used as a filming location though, I'll google what it was featured in!
Firstly, I absolutely LOVE your video style. It's absolutely brilliant (I may have said this before but point still stands!). Secondly, I am so jealous at all the seals you got to see! Thirdly, oh my god I want to stay in those roundhouses! Fourthly, AN ICE CREAM BOAT?? Amazing! Fifthly, that food in Norwich looks delicious. Brilliant video. I really want to go back to Norfolk and do a trip on the Broads - and can you believe I didn't go to Norwich or Great Yarmouth either?!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy our style of videos! I was expecting to only see a couple of seals bobbing around in the water so we were super excited to see so many. What time of year was it when you visited? It looked from your videos like it was summer so perhaps we were really lucky. A trip on the broads would be so good.. I would love to stay in one of those little houses by the water and have our own little motorboat for a few days 😊 Norwich is definitely somewhere we would return to for a city break when things have returned to normal. It's on the broads so you could work it into your broads trip 😄 Thanks for watching!
@@OurTravelPlace We went in June, so either we were unlucky or you were super lucky! I'm definitely going to research a Norfolk broads trip for next spring/summer I think!
Thank you so much! 😀 Yes Norfolk is really lovely, we knew so little about it until we booked this last minute trip but we loved it there! And we barely scratched the surface so we would like to see more... do you have a favourite place to visit in Norfolk?
In Norfolk The Time and Tide Museum in Norfolk is great. Sheringham is good. Coastal walk between Overstrand and Cromer bit is nice. NT Blickling estate is worth a visit. Definitely recommend a full Broads holiday too. I’ve lived in Norfolk for 20 years and still so much to do in summer / holiday months. I live just down the road from Fairhaven Gardens so that was nice to see that, in ‘non covid world’ they did some lovely little boat trips which are nice.
Thanks so much for your recommendations, that's brilliant! We would love to return and see more of Norfolk. I will google your recommendations. I think if I lived near Fairhaven I would be there all the time 😄 Thanks a lot for watching and commenting!
I LOVED THIS VIDEO as I live in HEACHAM 2 miles from Hunstanton and I was born in NORFOLK amazingly I was sent this video from someone very close to me who livs in Queensland Australia. I really enjoyed the detail in all this I was hoping you would have visited HEMSBY near Great Yarmouth we used to stay in that VILLAGE every August for a month in a Chalet/Bungalow by the sea and I remember watching the FILM JAIL HOUSE ROCK with ELVIS PRESLEY in the VILLAGE HALL and everyone was stamping their feet on the wooden floor to the great Music. I was about 12 years old and am now 76, very Happy Memories of HEMSBY and the BROADS and many of the other places in your excellent video. Thank you. Next time visit Stow Bardolph Village I was Born in the Vicarage there 1st December 1946 no other place for my mother and other mum's from R.A.F Marham. I grew up in Downham Market the next Town and my Nana lived in the VILLAGE of DENVER and Demver Sluice is worth a Visit and that area
Ahh it does sound like there are so many nice places fo visit in Norfolk 😊 Hopefully one day we will go back and see more of the area. It sounds like you have so many lovely memories. Thanks for watching, I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the video 😊
I absolutely LOVE your videos! They really do showcase the best my country has to offer - as a resident of this country it's often easy to forget just how pretty my country is and how many unique and gorgeous locations it has to visit. One tends to take things like this for granted so it's nice to see an outside perspective to really get you to appreciate it again :) One little tip I'd give is this - if you're going to put music on as a background to your videos, it would be nice to either list the songs you used in the description, or maybe as part of the overlay text as the song starts - for those of us who find the song catchy and enjoyable. Saves someone like me getting frustrated over not being able to tell what the song is, or not knowing the title of the song and it means we can then go and find the song for ourselves instead of bugging you in the comments section asking "hey what's the song at *enter timestamp here*?". Good example and genuine question: What's the background song that starts up at 8:40 ??
Thanks so much for your lovely comment! I agree, it's too easy to overlook your own country. I think the last couple of years of not going abroad have really helped us appreciate how beautiful the UK is (we aren't really an outside perspective for the UK as we're from England too, but Norfolk was a new part of the country for us and we certainly hadn't realised how nice it was until we visited for the first time in 2020!). Thank you for your tip on the music. It's funny, I have considered adding that information to the description a couple of times but didn't think people would be interested... clearly, I was wrong! I think I'm going to start adding that in the descriptions going forward (although, FYI, questions in the comments section are welcome!). The song you are asking about is Dancing with the Devil by Bonkers Beat Club. All our music comes from epidemic sound so you might hear some of the songs on other people's videos too, as Epidemic Sound is a really popular platform for music for youtube videos! Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video 🙂
What a great video of Norfolk! So much information. Great seeing the seals.. they were very cute. Glad you included it ! 😍 Beach looks lovely.. thanks for sharing both Michelle and Andy 😃😃
Seeing those seals was one of our trip highlights - they were so cute! Norfolk does have some really nice beaches. Have you ever been? Thank you for watching 😊
If you ever go back to Norfolk I can highly recommend a hidden gem called east Ruston gardens, which changes with the seasons and is so nice that me and my family end up going ever 2 months to see the new gardens
Thanks for the recommendation, I've just googled it and it looks beautiful! Right up our street. I do hope we will return to Norfolk so when we do I will have to keep that on our list of places to go. Thanks for watching and commenting!
oo Cromer was a possibility for our itinerary, but there are just way too many nice places in Norfolk to fit into a week! I don't know Wyndomham or Thetford, I'll have to look them up. Thank you for the recommendations 🙂👍
Yes, we couldn't believe we saw so many seals! I was expecting to maybe see a couple bobbing off at a distance but they were everywhere 😍 Agree about the York vibe - I see from your channel that you have visited York before, so perhaps you would like Norwich? 🙂 Thanks for watching!
Just got back from here Yesterday, wish I'd of watched this first! Got to Horsey gap and the seals, and Horsey Wind pump (with a smashing cup of tea and tea soaked fruit cake from the tea hut) Stayed at Caister on sea, lovely but by golly rain ,rain, rain and 4 hours of sun at Great Yarmouth.... ) or Yawnmouth...lol
I'm glad you got to see the seals at horsey! Weather-wise you definitely haven't had the best luck for a trip... fingers crossed all this sogginess clears off soon! Thanks for your nice comment, much appreciated 🙂
Winterton on Sea looks beautiful as well! Love seeing the houses with the different pastel colours and round shapes too! The boat ride definitely looks like an activity not to be missed!
I have been to Norfolk a couple of times but only with work so I have never visited the nice places. The photos in the gardens are really cool. Fish and Chips oclock haha The Ice cream boat is a really cool idea. xx
Haha, you have no idea how excited I was when I realised that ice cream boats exist 😂 Where in Norfolk did you go with work? To be honest we had no idea how many lovely places there were in Norfolk until recently but now we're sold! Thanks for watching 😊
@@OurTravelPlace I have been to Ipswich and Great Yarmouth but I didnt get to do much exploring which is a shame. Its a really long way from us though i think its 5 hours xx
@@EmmaJonYoureWelcome oof, 5 hours. It's only supposed to be about 3.5 hours from us but driving once we got close to Norfolk was so slow that it was actually more like 5!
Thank you, yes we thought the time stamps would be pretty helpful as it was a longer video that usual and covered a lot of different places! Agree about the wind pump. Even though it hadn't reopened yet it was still worth visiting. Thanks for watching, we're glad you enjoyed it!
I used to love taking a boat down the broads but sadly haven't gone for some time. I remember falling asleep once on a quiet beach and waking up to find myself surround by seals. They look small in the video but they're huge when they're laying next to you :)
Lol, fresh... perhaps it's his summer shear...it happens every couple of years 😂 I admit Norfolk isn't somewhere we had considered until a few weeks ago when we wanted to quickly find somewhere that we thought would be nice for an outdoorsy holiday that hopefully wasn't too busy... and Norfolk turned out to be great, we loved it! The boat hire was one of our favourite bits so would definitely recommend it. Also seeing the seals was a highlight so would suggest doing that too if you like that sort of thing! Thanks for watching 🙂
Wonderful! Great times to be had in Norfolk! Great coastline with a beach that goes on forever. Your motorboat experience was fabulous! Loved those villages - and the ice cream boat. The Golden Mile is amazing. I could do the mini golf! Thanks for sharing and enjoy your weekend 😀👍
Yes, there's plenty to do around Norfolk, that's for sure! They do have some really beautiful beaches. Ah yes the motorboat was SO much fun...I'm glad you liked the ice cream boat 🙂 Thanks for watching!
Hey guys, this was a fantastic video!! We love that Hunstanton is referred to as Sunny Hunny, that's so cool. Wells by the Sea looked gorgeous, both the beach and the town and wow, the view from that pub garden, perfect! The lodge you stated at looked really nice, and a hot tub too? Awesome! Really loved the clip with those cute seals, how amazing to see them chilling on the beach! We have to say bravo to the great mooring skills 👌 I think we'd make a right hash of it 😂. And let's just take a moment to appreciate the ice cream boat!! The is the best thing! The last time we went to Norfolk was years ago and we only went to Great Yarmouth really, so it ls great to see what beautiful places there are to visit, although you could make an entire holiday out of playing all 700 mini golf courses 😂 Wonderful video guys, really enjoyed it, superbly filmed and edited and super informative!!
Staying somewhere with a private hot tub has always been on my wish list and so we finally decided to treat ourselves to one since we wouldn't be going out anywhere in the evenings on this holiday (for obvious reasons!). It was SO worth it, we sat it in every night! Aaron deserves all the credit when it comes to the mooring - I would have made a hash of it too 😂 Thanks so much for the nice comment! Super informative is what we aim for so happy you thought we achieved it 😄
Norfolk looks so beautiful! Definitely motivated us to add it to our travel bucket list! All of the beaches and coastal area are so beautiful! Thanks for sharing it all!
Love how detailed you are! We definitely want to visit Norfolk in the future. I learn so much from watching your videos :) I loved the colourful huts! - Jo
Thank you, I'm glad you find our videos useful! Do you think you'll be doing more UK based travelling this year? Norfolk is a good option! Thanks for watching 😊
I love going to Norfolk I go every year and we also drive the boats we normally stay in Bingham which is a lovely village and it also nice if you want to see the dairy shop and to get chased by cows 🤣 xx
Haha, not sure if I fancy getting chased by cows! 😂 The boats are so much fun though and Norfolk is lovely, I can see why you go every year! Thanks for watching 😊
Im still dreaming about our first pub visit post lock down!!!! One day, haaaa! Looks like a dreamy location with a bunch of things to do. Those huts are adorable, I'd like a forest green one with white trim please!
The hot tub place was Fairway Lakes Lodges in Fritton. We booked both our accommodations through Hoseasons. Thanks for watching, I hope you have a great trip to Norfolk whenever you go! 🙂
Hey guys! What a great overview of your trip to Norfolk! I love all the little huts on the beach. I love that most of the beach is dog friendly. This is such a beautiful little town. I really loved your video. I subscribed to see where you go next! Great video! :)
My god, we have just started doing 'Finding the best Fish and Chips' stores where we go. Makes me crave a fish and chip butty 😋🤗 you guys got a lot done! glad you were finally able to get out and explore. We wouldnt have checked out Norfolk, you guys have certainly raised it on the list for when we go to England! good edit guys, great voice overs, really nailing it! 🤜🤛
Thank you! Yes, Norfolk isn't somewhere we had considered until recently but it turned out that there is plenty to do there, especially if you're looking for outdoors activities 🙂 Glad we could help with your England itinerary!
Awesome video you guys! I’d love to visit Norfolk. 😍 Wells-next-the-sea looks so cool! It looks like the perfect place to take a ton of pictures with all of the cute little houses. I love that they are named as well 😊
The fair rides looks so fun haha but sometimes I get quite scared and dizzy! Wells Next The Sea looks stunning! Love fish and chips - they’re always a great idea and the sunset looks beautiful!
Love the fish and chips week 🤣! Cute hare! How fun to take a boat for the day! We love mini golf ⛳️ too! Two lunches is always a good idea! What a great vacation!
Great video you two! You did so much I know I forgot some of the comments I wanted to make 😆 The first beach area with the cliffs and sunken ship looks like an area we would really enjoy. The cottages and little round houses were so cute. It seems like you had great food too, the ramen at the end looked delicious!
Ha yes it was a busy week - once we started looking into Norfolk we realised there was just so much we wanted to do! Yes, the shipwreck was pretty cool 🙂 We would definitely eat that ramen again. Thanks for watching!
@@OurTravelPlace the problem is neither the G7X III nor the Sony ZV1 are perfect. Probably the ZV1 has the edge out of those 2 but I know the second I buy one a new replacement that is far better will come out!! The G7X II is so good I'll probably just sit tight and wait. Was really impressed with your video though and the style and editing (enough to comment about your camera). We are actually on our way to Norfolk right now, a day on the beach at Holkham and then fish n chips at Wells. You had some timelapse in your video. I've always found the G7X II limiting on timelapse. Was that shot on yours or something else please?
Thanks for the nice words! Yeah ZV1 does look slightly better I agree. I would love to be able to just try it for a bit then decide 😄 Yep the timelapse was G7X. In what way have you found it limiting? Ooh have a great time in Norfolk! Fish and chips by the sea sounds like a pretty perfect Friday 🙂
We loved this and the info was fantastic. Felt like we were watching a travel channel. That peer must have been stunning before the storm/fire, its a shame its still not there. You cant beat some good English fish and chips, but we also love our mushy pee's with it hehehe. Norfolk looks so very beautiful. You have a new friend for LIFE with us and have our FULL support, so would love to STAY connected. Cant wait for your next one. ONE LOVE❤️
Ahh I'm not a mushy peas fan but I know most people are so that's definitely just me! Thanks for your support and nice comment - we do try to pack plenty of handy details in so I'm happy you found it informative 😃
Ahh this is so nice - I was looking at Norfolk for a possible holiday. This is a nice video to show different places to go to. I like the added bits of history. Can I ask, I know you we're driving, but do you think something similar is doable on public transport? Looove those cute seals!!!
I think most of it is accessible by public transport. There is a coastal bus that is good for visiting different places along the Norfolk coast (like Wells-Next-The-Sea). I don't think Horsey (where we saw the seals) is accessible by public transport unfortunately, although if you want to see seals Blakeney is supposed to be a good spot for it and I think the coastal bus goes there. As for the Broads, obviously Norwich has a train station and I believe there are stations around the broads, depending on which area you want to visit. I am pretty sure Wroxham (where we hired our day boat) does. So yes, I'm sure you will be able to pull an itinerary together without a car! 🙂
Aight! I really loved this! The intro was so soft and so engaging to travel to this country! This place sounds amazing honestlyyy❤ thank yaaa for showing ua around this pretty placee❤❤
Norfolk is such a beautiful place. Completely fell in love with the views. The sight of the waters at sunset is so calming. Enjoyed every minute of this. I just subscribed 🔔

I live in Norwich and have done for the last 33 years. Once you've come to Norfolk it gets into your soul and you either keep visiting or like me remain.
I made the stupid mistake of taking a job in Teddington
Great vid! Well done.
Thanks very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching 🙂

Very much enjoyed this video. Spending 2 weeks on the Norfolk Broads next year and you have given us some more great ideas for places to visit. Thank you.
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyer it! Hope you have a great trip to Norfolk. Of the places we went in Norfolk the broads was my favourite area 🙂
What a beautiful video! It was very nostalgic seeing Wells-Next-to-the-Sea and Great Yarmouth, as both were places I would visit as a child during the school holidays. Great video Norfolk is stunning especially the broads
They are! The broads were my favourite bit of the trip. Thanks for watching 🙂
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching and leaving us a comment 🙂
I enjoyed your video so much! I love Norfolk and holiday there regularly. It was so nice to re-visit places I know and love via your video. I can't wait to get back when this latest lock-down is over. Thank you for cheering me up!
Aw thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it and it could cheer you up 😊 Hopefully not too much longer now until you can return to lovely Norfolk!
From what we saw of Norwich and Norfolk I can understand why you love it so much 🙂
I'm 62 and lived in Norwich all my life would'nt live anywhere else apart from the coast. You to come home visit.
The coastal route from Brancaster to Cromer is my favourite.
Such a busy time you had, covered so much in such a short time, very well filmed and good to watch.
It was a busy week for sure, there was so much we wanted to see once we started researching Norfolk! Thanks very much for your kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Looks like it was an amazing break, i love Cromer and really want to see a lot more of norfolk.
Nice presentation. The garden is super . Love the old building painting. Enjoyed the sunset. Ferris wheel is super.Super video. 👍. Nice beach,
Thank you very much! Glad you liked it 🙂
I remember having a family members birthday on a Sunday booked a boat on the Norfolk broads in Wroxham however you spell it and went to this pub place and had a lovely carvery (night not be cheap but worth it) first time we got small boat 2nd time on the birthday we had a yacht and saw people practicing like canoeing thing so friendly on the broads waving people slowing down to say hello wishing happy b day etc love the peeps at sunny hunny aswell especially if you see the school kids in that lovely uniform (secondary school) if you go on a weekday
So nice, what a lovely way to spend a birthday (both times) :) You're making me miss Norfolk!
Very Informative, some great tips, heading there in early august, thanks for the review.
I hope you have a great trip! Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching 🙂
@@OurTravelPlace I’m sure we will thanks for the reply and video
Love this video!! Thank you!
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Glad it gave you a chuckle 😄 Thanks for watching, fellow plant fan!
So glad you went to FRESH, its my fav market stall in norwich :)
The food there was so good!
Wow. Awesome video friend. Thankyou for sharing this. My full support to you friend
Interesting and good video. Thanks for sharing..
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊
Greetings from South Texas! Loved your content!
Hi South Texas! Thanks, glad you enjoyed it 🙂
I did and just subscribed to your channel. Thanks for making such nice videos.
Thank you! We're happy to hear you enjoyed watching 😊
Super!
Thank you! And thanks for watching 😊
@@EmmaSpears Do it! Do you think you would go for a trip actually staying on a boat? I can see the appeal after we visited!
Southwold’ Aldeburgh and walsberswick are all lovely too!
Thanks for the recommendations!
Just found you guys on RUclips so binge watching, Norfolk is a beautiful part of the Uk 👍👍
Thank you so much! 😀 Yes Norfolk is really lovely, we knew so little about it until we booked this last minute trip but we loved it there! And we barely scratched the surface so we would like to see more... do you have a favourite place to visit in Norfolk?
Thank you so much for this very informative video!❤❤
Thanks for watching, glad you liked it!
One tends to take things like this for granted so it's nice to see an outside perspective to really get you to appreciate it again :)
One little tip I'd give is this - if you're going to put music on as a background to your videos, it would be nice to either list the songs you used in the description, or maybe as part of the overlay text as the song starts - for those of us who find the song catchy and enjoyable.
May I recommend Cromer, Wyndomham and Thetford. Also, the Herring museum in Great Yarmouth.
oo Cromer was a possibility for our itinerary, but there are just way too many nice places in Norfolk to fit into a week! I don't know Wyndomham or Thetford, I'll have to look them up. Thank you for the recommendations 🙂👍
Avoid Thetford, it’s not a nice place!
The miniature display is awesome. Looks like Norwich has a York vibe. You're lucky to see some seals!
The boat was SO much fun! Yes Winterton on Sea is lovely, and so peaceful! Those little houses are so unique 🙂 Thanks for watching and commenting!
That was fantastic. You're really good at this. The music, the shots, the voice over and the helpful maps were really really good. Thanks.
Thank you, I appreciate that! Glad you found it helpful
Great intro and great video! Norfolk looks awesome, we'd totally enjoy a week there! Looks like you guys had an amazing time.
Yes it's a great spot for a week, and we feel as though we barely scratched the surface! Thanks for watching 😊
Wow! It looks very beautiful! That was one of the best sunsets! You captured it brilliantly 👍
Thank you! The sunset really was beautiful
I have been to Norfolk a couple of times but only with work so I have never visited the nice places.
The photos in the gardens are really cool.
Fish and Chips oclock haha
The Ice cream boat is a really cool idea.
The wind pump is super cool. I really like the way you put the time stamps in the description. Well done guys, enjoyed it 😃
Thank you, yes we thought the time stamps would be pretty helpful as it was a longer video that usual and covered a lot of different places! Agree about the wind pump. Even though it hadn't reopened yet it was still worth visiting. Thanks for watching, we're glad you enjoyed it!
Wonderful tour in Norfolk
I used to love taking a boat down the broads but sadly haven't gone for some time. I remember falling asleep once on a quiet beach and waking up to find myself surround by seals. They look small in the video but they're huge when they're laying next to you :)
Oh wow, that must have been a surprise! 😄
Fab video guys. An area and something I've never considered. I could quite fancy doing the boat hire. Aaron's looking fresh!
Lol, fresh... perhaps it's his summer shear...it happens every couple of years 😂
I admit Norfolk isn't somewhere we had considered until a few weeks ago when we wanted to quickly find somewhere that we thought would be nice for an outdoorsy holiday that hopefully wasn't too busy... and Norfolk turned out to be great, we loved it!
Very nice video....looks so beautiful there!
Thank you, it is! 😊
Hello good day beautiful lady how are you doing today and how is the weather over there
Hey guys, this was a fantastic video!!
The last time we went to Norfolk was years ago and we only went to Great Yarmouth really, so it ls great to see what beautiful places there are to visit, although you could make an entire holiday out of playing all 700 mini golf courses 😂
Wonderful video guys, really enjoyed it, superbly filmed and edited and super informative!!
Staying somewhere with a private hot tub has always been on my wish list and so we finally decided to treat ourselves to one since we wouldn't be going out anywhere in the evenings on this holiday (for obvious reasons!). It was SO worth it, we sat it in every night!
Aaron deserves all the credit when it comes to the mooring - I would have made a hash of it too 😂
Thanks so much for the nice comment! Super informative is what we aim for so happy you thought we achieved it 😄
Norfolk looks so beautiful! Definitely motivated us to add it to our travel bucket list! All of the beaches and coastal area are so beautiful! Thanks for sharing it all!
Yes, you're spoiled for choice for beaches there! Thanks for watching 🙂
Very Informative... Many Thanks.
Thanks, I'm glad to hear it 🙂 Thanks for watching!
Thank you for posting👍
No problem, thank you for watching!
P.S nothing wrong with looking at plants :P
Haha no not at all, I was only joking 😄 I hope it isn't too long until you get your first post lockdown pub trip! Thanks for watching
Could you please share the location and name of the holiday park you stayed in with the hot tub, great video, thank you.
The hot tub place was Fairway Lakes Lodges in Fritton. We booked both our accommodations through Hoseasons. Thanks for watching, I hope you have a great trip to Norfolk whenever you go! 🙂
I would recommend a broads holiday, we hired from potter higham and again from stalham both very good
Thanks for your recommendations! The idea of a week on the broads sounds like absolute bliss 😊
The fish and chips looked so good! I think recently that's become one of my favorite meals. Lovely views all around you guys!
Oh they were! Our favourite was fish and chips no.2 😊 Thanks for watching!
Hey guys! What a great overview of your trip to Norfolk! I love all the little huts on the beach. I love that most of the beach is dog friendly. This is such a beautiful little town. I really loved your video. I subscribed to see where you go next! Great video! :)
Thank you very much! We loved the beach huts too 🙂
very interesting video introducing the Norfolk, of UK. thanks for sharing your video.. I hope to visit soon there ..

My god, we have just started doing 'Finding the best Fish and Chips' stores where we go. Makes me crave a fish and chip butty 😋🤗
you guys got a lot done! glad you were finally able to get out and explore.
We wouldnt have checked out Norfolk, you guys have certainly raised it on the list for when we go to England!
good edit guys, great voice overs, really nailing it! 🤜🤛

Great video y’all. Love the sights in this one! Makes me the UK so much
Thank you! Where in the UK have you been? Hopefully one day you can visit again 🙂
Awesome video you guys! I’d love to visit Norfolk. 😍 Wells-next-the-sea looks so cool! It looks like the perfect place to take a ton of pictures with all of the cute little houses. I love that they are named as well 😊
Yeah Wells is really pretty - definitely one to put high up the Norfolk itinerary I think! Thanks for watching 🙂
The fair rides looks so fun haha but sometimes I get quite scared and dizzy! Wells Next The Sea looks stunning! Love fish and chips - they’re always a great idea and the sunset looks beautiful!
Haha yeah we got pretty dizzy on the rides too! The sunset really was beautiful - it was probably our favourite thing about Hunstanton! 😊
Love the fish and chips week 🤣! Cute hare! How fun to take a boat for the day! We love mini golf ⛳️ too! Two lunches is always a good idea! What a great vacation!
Yes, it was a great holiday! The boat was definitely one of our favourite moments of the trip. Thank you for watching!
Another great travel video
Thank you! Much appreciated

Thanks for watching, I'm glad you liked it 🙂 I used a Canon G7X Mark 2
@@OurTravelPlace thanks, lol, that's the camera I already have and am looking to change! Cracking bit of kit for sure. Thanks!
Any ideas of what you might change to? Yeah I do like the g7x, it's a great little camera, but not sure which way to go once it needs replacing!
I would love to be able to just try it for a bit then decide 😄
Yep the timelapse was G7X. In what way have you found it limiting?
Ooh have a great time in Norfolk! Fish and chips by the sea sounds like a pretty perfect Friday 🙂
Beautiful scenery! Thank you for sharing. Greeting from Vancouver
Thank you!
wow this place is amazing... cool vlog- thanks for sharing.. see you around
Wow looks like a great time
nice video thanks for sharing 🙂👍
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it! 😊
My nan and grandad live there near Fakenham. I think they live next to a road called Wells Road.
