After reading few comments I find few people are so below average at understanding few things may Allah guide us, it triggers me because even after zakir naik explaining in detail they don’t get it.
I think the beard should be a good size not too short. It should be longer than one fist. Hopefully Allah blesses me a with a thick and full beard inshallah.

I am not a Muslim but I love listening to the good Doctor’s observations and opinion. I don’t believe for a single moment that a beard, growing, cutting or length has anything whatsoever to do with entering Jannah. It would be a miserable and intolerant Allah who would refuse Jannah to an otherwise observant follower of the core beliefs of the Quran. Boys, when growing the beard please look after it. Whatever style beard that you have; whether it be a long beard, short beard, a goatee etc. it should be neat and tidy. It's such a shame that westerners are taking good care of their (bearded) appearance but the Muslim men simply don't care enough about beard grooming and care. A beard is just like head hair, it needs grooming too.
there is a hadith that says to speak clearly and slowly so people can understand yet especially if you are a teacher. Dr. Naik, I have to pause and go back so much to relisten.
There is no hadith prohibiting trimming beard. The fact that sahabas trimmed beard below the fist, doesnt make trimming less than a fist or more than fist haraam. It only demonstrates that a person should have a beard. Size is not important. Max we can say is it is mustahab to have a beard of fistful length.
As far as concerned we only know for sure that one sahabi trimmed his beard ,but from what we see ,from the description of the beard of the prophet ,Abu Bakr, abu omar ,ali, their beards filled their chests further more ibn omar did that only on omra or 7aj he never said the prophet said it or did it, it was his own diligence
As prophet Muhammad saw said: if u don't find something on me ... then copy from people around me of that generation means ( Shahabas) as... Doctor Zakir says there are many sahi Hadees in which it's clear Shaabas having beard not more then fist ....
So is Zakirs and the guy with hims beard ok....I mean is it if we pull then the length or when the beard is pulled....It curls so becomes short butif we pull it straightens....

If you follow the manhaj of Salaf does'nt mean all they do is a same opinion, some muslim said Umar bin Khattab trim their beard is disobey from sunnah coz the hadist said let the beard grow also few imam of mahdzab said it so. But in Dr.Zakir opinion said there's no hadist about beard length so if you nof find the prophet example see the sahabah, so it does'nt mean Umar is mistaken coz they do what the prophet do, is grow the beard in fist size but not too long maybe one month without trimed this fatwa by syekh Al Banni, n i agree with this
I want to ask the reason shaving a beard is banned under Islam. My mum says I should shave just so I don’t get picked on because of having a beard. And shaving face feels better. I don’t like beards. My mum said since I have autism god will understand if I shave my face. And if shaving a beard is haram why does the army tell you to shave even in Pakistan? is shaving or trimming beards allowed for anything? even for cleanliness?
