Because they live in an era WHICH close to the death of our messenger( the word our include you) and they been learning from people surrounding our prophets. Thus they made a book and sunnah out of it. ITS NOT LIKE BUT ITS CLOSE and which is most likely what our prophets did. What our prophets did are surely followed by His surrounding which again are passed from one to another.
In fact there should not be sections in Islam ,but in practice and in reality there are. If not, Why those who call themselves Sunni and those who call themselves Shia, have some (but not all) different beliefs and practices???? Isn't the right path only one? And both groups identify with Islam. That's true. They are muslims. But who is more right? Which one is the true Islam? There should be an answer to that which cannot be "both". That's true muslims must be united, sunnies and shias are brothers. But we should "think" and always try to improve ourselves.
A muslim must remember the five pillars of Islam, he/she mustn't forget that "A muslim is brother to another muslim" according to a hadith. We must keep on working on the knowledge of our Deen and must remember that whoever follows five pillars of Islam and admits that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the last messenger of Allah is among us. And after that when it comes to who is right or who is wrong, verily Allah is the best judge.

I agree with many things they say, in terms of ethics and other things related to Islam. I find them useful and informative. To be honest, I disagree with some of the points they mention, esp. about Sahabbah, Ahlul bait, and the topic of Welayat. Al Sadouq reports in "The Reasons" a tradition going back to Daoud ibn Ferqad: "I told Abu Abdallah what do you think of the Sunni ? He replied: His blood is lawful. But to preserve yourself, if you can bury him under a wall or drown him in the sea so that you do not have any traces, do it! I said to him: And about his property? Ali AS hated Omar AS so much he gave him his daughters hand in marriage. Ali AS hated Omar, Abu Bakr and Uthman AS so much named his children after all three of them. Ali AS was titled asadullah for his bravery but let Omar and Abu Bakr AS come in and kills his wife and unborn child and still named his kids after them. First the Hadith is not Bukhari akhi the Hadith, You have said is in Tirmidhi. But the Hadith in Tirmidhi, in my opinion is not Sahih, because of 2 narrator. Second the Hadith in Muslim, said that we should follow the quran. And then he said i remind you of my family(3 times). He didnt say follow brother. Third, if you accept the Hadith Thaqalyn in Muslim than you have to accept that the Wives of the Prophet saw are also part of the Ahlul Bayt. Who are the members of his household? Aren't his wives the members of his family? Thereupon he said: His wives are the members of his family (but here) the members of his family are those for whom acceptance of Zakat is forbidden.Sahih Muslim 2408 a And only one question brother. Whoever is saying that Shia is mentioned in Quran in Surah Al Qasas(28:15). Yes it's mentioned but let me tell you that what does it actually means. شِيعَتِهِ is an Arabic word which literally means sects. It has nothing to do with Shia Sunni what we know today. Surah Al Qasas Chapter 28, verse 15- وَدَخَلَ الْمَدِينَةَ عَلَىٰ حِينِ غَفْلَةٍ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا فَوَجَدَ فِيهَا رَجُلَيْنِ يَقْتَتِلَانِ هَٰذَا مِنْ شِيعَتِهِ وَهَٰذَا مِنْ عَدُوِّهِ ۖ فَاسْتَغَاثَهُ الَّذِي مِنْ شِيعَتِهِ عَلَى الَّذِي مِنْ عَدُوِّهِ فَوَكَزَهُ مُوسَىٰ فَقَضَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ۖ قَالَ هَٰذَا مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ ۖ إِنَّهُ عَدُوٌّ مُضِلٌّ مُبِينٌ. Translation- And he entered the city at a time when its people were not watching: and he found there two men fighting,- one of his own religion, and the other, of his foes. Now the man of his own religion appealed to him against his foe, and Moses struck him with his fist and made an end of him. Maede 67 This refers to the day of Ghadir. I agree with many things they say, in terms of ethics and other things related to Islam. I find them useful and informative. I really appreciate their efforts to spread the peaceful message of islam to the world.
To be honest, I disagree with some of the points they mention, esp. about Sahabbah, Ahlul bait, and the topic of Welayat.

The angels descended in their house with the blessings and mercy from Allah. Muslims are obligated to send blessings upon them in their Salat/namaz. Amongst the ahlulbayt, you have people like hazrat Ali, the gateway to the city of knowledge of the Holy Prophet. Lady Fatimah, the mistress of the women of paradise. They are the heirs of the Holy Prophet’s knowledge and wisdom.
Who can understand Islam, Qur'an, sharia'h, sunnah of the Holy Prophet, etc. better than the people of the house?
With the rest, who knows the state of their iman, their knowledge and understanding of Islam, their source of knowledge and information about Islam and so on?

Third, if you accept the Hadith Thaqalyn in Muslim than you have to accept that the Wives of the Prophet saw are also part of the Ahlul Bayt.

After the death of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, Muslims had two options to seek guidance from; the ahlulbayt (the holy Household of the Holy Prophet). Others.

The angels descended with the blessings and the mercy of Allah in their house. Muslims are obligated to send blessings upon not only the Holy Prophet but ALSO HIS FAMILY. Amongst the ahlulbayt, you have people like Imam Ali, the gateway to the city of knowledge (of the Holy Prophet). Lady Fatimah, the Chief of the women of the paradise. Imams Hasan and Husain, the two princes of the youths of paradise. The ahlulbayt and the holy Qur'an are the two weighty things that the Holy Prophet Muhammad left behind him.
Who can understand Islam, Qur'an sharia'h, the sunnah of the Holy Prophet and so on better than the people of the house?
Shi'as are those Muslims who take the ahlulbayt as their role models, source of knowledge, information and guidance after the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his holy progeny).

The word Shia, Shiah, Shiite, or Shi'ah was used many times in the Holy Quran. It means sect or band but it mostly has a NEGATIVE meaning. In this verse, God warns us not to divide ourselves into Shiites and declare people who do so as people who don't belong to the prophet Muhammad (p)
There are no sects in Islam, firqa wariyat is Haram, but I have no ill will against Shias, I just think it's wrong to segregate the religion and create divides

Whoever is saying that Shia is mentioned in Quran in Surah Al Qasas(28:15). Yes it's mentioned but let me tell you that what does it actually means. شِيعَتِهِ is an Arabic word which literally means sects. It has nothing to do with Shia Sunni what we know today.
Surah Al Qasas
Chapter 28, verse 15-
وَدَخَلَ الْمَدِينَةَ عَلَىٰ حِينِ غَفْلَةٍ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا فَوَجَدَ فِيهَا رَجُلَيْنِ يَقْتَتِلَانِ هَٰذَا مِنْ شِيعَتِهِ وَهَٰذَا مِنْ عَدُوِّهِ ۖ فَاسْتَغَاثَهُ الَّذِي مِنْ شِيعَتِهِ عَلَى الَّذِي مِنْ عَدُوِّهِ فَوَكَزَهُ مُوسَىٰ فَقَضَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ۖ قَالَ هَٰذَا مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ ۖ إِنَّهُ عَدُوٌّ مُضِلٌّ مُبِينٌ.
Translation-
And he entered the city at a time when its people were not watching: and he found there two men fighting,- one of his own religion, and the other, of his foes. Now the man of his own religion appealed to him against his foe, and Moses struck him with his fist and made an end of him. He said: "This is a work of Evil (Satan): for he is an enemy that manifestly misleads!"

2) إِنّما وَلیکُمُ اللهُ و رَسولُهُ والّذینَ ءَامَنوا الَّذینَ یقِیمُونَ الصَّلوةَ و یؤتُونَ الزَّکوة و هُم راکِعونَ. Maede 55
The last part of this verse refers to Amir Al Mumenin Ali ibn Abi Taleb (pbuh)
3) أَيُّهَا الرَّسُولُ بَلِّغْ مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ وَإِن لَّمْ تَفْعَلْ فَمَا بَلَّغْتَ رِسَالَتَهُ ۚ وَاللَّـهُ يَعْصِمُكَ مِنَ النَّاسِ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْكَافِرِينَ. Maede 67
This refers to the day of Ghadir.
The Hadith al-Ghadir is a part of the sermon of Ghadir where the Prophet (s) says, "Anyone I am his master (Wali), then 'Ali (a) is his master."
4) أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ أَطِيعُواْ اللّهَ وَأَطِيعُواْ الرَّسُولَ وَأُوْلِي الأَمْرِ مِنكُمْ فَإِن تَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى اللّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ ذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلاً . Nisa 59

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا۟ دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُوا۟ شِيَعًۭا لَّسْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِى شَىْءٍ ۚ إِنَّمَآ أَمْرُهُمْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْعَلُونَ
Verily, those who divide their religion and break up into sects (all kinds of religious sects)1, you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) have no concern in them in the least. Their affair is only with Allâh, Who then will tell them what they used to do.
----> by this Dr. Zakir explained, in Islam there's no such thing as sects like shia, sunni or whatever else people claimed. So question "what wrong did shia do? Why they have to suffer?" became invalid and ridiculous to ask, since there's no need to categorize certain people shia, sunni or whatever else. 2) Regarding why Saddam Hussein killed Shias, Dr. Zakir Naik honestly answered "I don't know whether it is true, media said it". How could he be answerable to something that not even proven to have happened (media said = hearsay from unverified source because media can say, write or broadcast literally anything), nor that he was there witnessing the crime if it was really committed, nor that he was the one did the crime.
So instead he truthfully answered, murdering innocent people is wrong no matter who did it, whatever the person name, whether he was a powerful man (he gave example George Bush) or etc.
I believe any religion also teach the same yes, brother? That killing innocent people is wrong, not allowed, forbidden.

Lol he is a hyprocrite, He talks about teachings of Quran and contradicts them. Islam is all about differentiating between right and wrong. You can call yourself a muslim but if you cant differentiate between right and wrong you are not muslim even if you pray 5 times a day. Its all about right and wrong. In his case he calls the Killer of HUSSAIN i.e Yazid as RA and also Hussain RA. How can both the killer and Shahid be RA. Giving references from Quran and then neglecting it is not islam.

It is prohibited to speak ill of fever. When Umme Sahabia (R.A.) spoke ill of fever then Prophet Mohammad (SAW) said, "do not abuse fever for it removes the sins of man like the furnace removes the rust from the iron".

And he said the same for Imam Ali (as.) and yet, Aisha fought against him. And Umar threatened to burn the house of Fatima (as.) down and even took away from her, the legacy of her father, Muhammad. And Muhammad said "whoever angers Fatima, angers me.", are they really muslim? BTW it's all found in sunni sahih books.
