A New video from Dimash called Omer is a must watch. He both composed and wrote lyrics. This was his gift for the Dears on his Birthday. His Grandfather passed away last week. Condolences to Dimash and his family.

I think this is the No. 1 song for me and he has named his current world tour The Stranger Tour’. S O S is a very very close second. Ogni Pietra and Ikenaide vying for third and fourth, Though Dimash sings this Stranger version at his concerts, there is one other different version on a chinese competition show called Super Shine Brothers. In fact, he had to leave the competition as soon as he performed Stranger as he needed an op (on his sinuses) I believe, so he struggled a little with the last note, but it is a fantastic version that hardly anyone reacts to it.
I love that version too, and in particular I love his challenging kick**s attitude both during the song and after. He walks down the gangway after he has finished singing to speak to the audience and he says in a serious and deliberate tone 'China.......I'm BACK....' Then you see the reaction of the guys in the back room. It's very satisfying.

At the beginning sounds an old Turkic stringed instrument called Kobys. His family is in the US now. Krutoy came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash. The maestro and Dimash have been working together from time to time since 2018. They are friends and have a father-son relationship.
Dimash said also in an interview about the collaboration with Igor Krutoy that it is important to him that the songs are written in such a way that there is room for variations ... so every performance of a song is a surprise and every Dear can choose his favorite presentation... I can not decide.
The lyrics were written by Mary Sharon Vaughn (*1947, American musician, songwriter and producer. She writes hits for famous singers around the world, including Lara Fabian)

I have about 25 all time favorite Dimash songs. Then all the others except 2 become favorites temporarily while I am listening to them, yes, fickle, I know. Those last 2 are in the luke warm catagory. I only listen to them with favorite reactors, never on my own. Stranger is a stunning song and in my top 25. 😂😂😂 Great reaction. 👍🥰🇨🇦

No surprise that this song may be taking over SOS. After all, it's probably a few years later since the version of SOS that you like, and in that period Dimash has continued to improve every facet of his talent: his English pronunciation, his performance on stage, his range got deeper, Igor Krutoy and he have gotten better at producing, who knows if his breath control got better as he had a 25 seconds note in Sinful Passion...I can't wait for another 5 years of Dimash self improvement!!!

Thank you, this song and performance is epic. You really should hear the one other version that he sang in China for the Shine Super Brother's show. It was live and he did vocals in the center that was out of this world! You have never heard anything like what he did then!
