- This video shows an Actor replaced with a Robot. The results are incredible! This made made by www.patreon/solomonwjagwe.
Creating a RUclips video like this one where robots play ping-pong with a real human is a blend of advanced robotics, precise programming, and sometimes, video editing techniques.
The robot needs to have a mechanical structure capable of moving a ping-pong paddle with speed, accuracy, and consistency. This involves engineering joints and actuators that can mimic the necessary movements for playing ping-pong.
High-speed cameras and other sensors are used to track the ball's position and trajectory in real-time. These sensors need to be very precise and capable of capturing data at a high frame rate to respond quickly to the human player's shots.
The data from the sensors is processed in real-time to determine the position and velocity of the ping-pong ball. This requires sophisticated algorithms capable of predicting the ball's trajectory and deciding the robot's best response.
Some robots use AI to improve their gameplay. They can be programmed with machine learning algorithms that allow them to learn from each shot and get better over time, simulating a more human-like opponent.
The mechanical system, sensors, and software need to be integrated seamlessly to work together in real-time. This often requires a lot of testing and calibration to get everything working perfectly.
The robot is then tested against human players. This phase is crucial for adjusting the robot's responsiveness, ensuring safety, and making the interaction as natural as possible.
The filming setup would include multiple camera angles to capture the action from the best perspectives. Lighting and sound are also crucial for a professional-quality video.
Filming could involve several sessions of playing, capturing not just the gameplay but also reactions, slow-motion shots of key moments, and interactions between the human players and the robot.
In post-production, the footage is edited to highlight the most interesting and entertaining parts of the matches. Graphics and effects might be added to enhance viewer understanding and enjoyment.
Getting "slapped" by the hand of a 200lb metal android would probably take the guy's head off
That's what I was thinking.
Congratulations
It's fake.
@@captainwin6333 That's why his head didn't come off 🤫
@@captainwin6333Key words in his comment, “would probably”, meaning (I’m pretty sure he knew ya dingus) it’s in the title of the video…
I can still tell it’s edited. But the differences between real and fake r getting blurred more and more. Scary
Shocking how he can say this actually fooled him lol
A "perfect" fake 😅.
That's the generation gap showing. I'm approaching 50, but I've been playing video games since I could lift my head, so it couldn't be more obvious.
We're used to watching computer graphics every day. Not just in games but movies, online, tv, store front&billboard ads, etc. It's everywhere, and we don't even notice it anymore. Some older folks are completely fooled by what would be childishly clumsy graphics to us.
But we're going to have to start being vigilant. Pretty soon we'll be fooled too without some serious study and maybe apps to help us.
I'm not realty worried about being fooled by A.I. I'm afraid of the under 50yo people that can be fooled with current AI.

I used to feel bad for people fooled by AI imagery, like "look at these silly Billies". same way for decades now how I couldn't get why people are fooled by CGI in general when it so clearly appears fake to me
but that "used to" stopped abruptly in recent months when I realized that my 20+ year streak of *easily* identifing visual shenanigans is gonna end pretty soon cos it's simply getting *that* good, and terrifyingly fast
in maybe 3 years it might be *impossible* for most people to tell fake from real without some digital assistance, and even then you'd have to trust that the digital assistant is correct in it's assessment
even AI cannot tell fake from real image anymore. now. not in 3 years. it's already that scarily 'good'.
That's a filter, not AI lol
Boomers can't tell, dude. They get fooled by things they see on the Internet ALL THE TIME.
However, the day is fast approaching where the rest of us will be fooled too.
Everyone loves throwing around "A.I." like the video decided to make this version by itself then post it on YT without any human
And what technologies make filters possible exactly?
@@RoastyPotatoStill, yes, AIs
Thanks for sharing 👍🏽 Fascinatingly concerned. 😂
P.S. That's the cleanest A.I. guitar playing I've heard since 1984😉

This is simply a deepfake of a ping pong match. The only use of AI here is to replace the player on the lower half of the screen with a robot skin...
There is no robot currently capable of being so light and limber at the same time. This is at least 10 years or more away from being real
Tha AI part is the tool used to create the video through AI gen editing.
The lines on the basketball court are superimposed on the robot's leg and foot for split-seconds.
I can confidently say, I don't at all understand what I'm looking at 😂🤣😂❤
AI and robotics are progressing very quickly, and improving at breakneck speed. I never thought I would live to see this day. Thank you David…this is fascinating. This comment was generated by a swiftly ageing human.🖤🇨🇦
Hilarious! I loved the two robots dancing! Someday soon! 😂
It’s already happening. ruclips.net/video/fn3KWM1kuAw/видео.htmlsi=EP8rMv8dKggj4cE8
@StephanieJeanne... Dancing robots would have come in handy when I was a teenager at school dances I usually ended up as a wallflower 😢 not everyone can be the popular in school.
@@drewpall2598 Sorry to hear that, Drew. I wasn't "popular" either, but I loved to dance, and I would dance alone if I had to. I can't really imagine dancing with a robot. Would be kind of strange.😸🤷✌️
@@StephanieJeanneNo need to be sorry its part of growing up for some of us. it might seem weird at first dancing with a robot and as along as the robot doesn't step on your feet I would give it a go. 1 2 3 step 1 2 3 step dance the night away 😊 have a good one Stephanie.
@@drewpall2598 It sure is a part of growing up. I had my own awkwardness in school. It would be an experience, for sure dancing with a robot.😄 Have a good one!🌻
Imo it's real and faked mixed together. Those people have no signs of that uncanny valley.
MUSIC! Holey moley! What's that MUSIC?? I MUST have that MUSIC!!!!
I saw that exact table tennis match recently but it was with real players. It's getting harder to tell what's real and what's not.
Dear AI: John Henry says bring it!
Maybe Paul Bunyan too!😄✌

This was interesting I hate to think what the world will be like in the future with the advances in technology and artificial intelligent. thanks David Hoffman 😊
This was fun to watch! "THANK YOU" David! I'm certain that (with a bit more time) mankind will easily have this capability and more, imo this video is indicative of several intricate yet very real possibilities I hope to see come to fruition, may God help us all 😂 tho excited to see it, I'm cautiously looking foward! 🤖🤖☮✌
oh David..
camera tricks have existed for as long as cameras have.
no concept from this vid is new or modern
Yes this is a trip. But it is reality Or soon to be. This is what they wanted it to be like thoe. Thanks David much appreciated.
Robots do not move like that.
Replacing human labor with A.I. is ethically wrong. The whole impetus for it is so billionaires can maximize their profits, all at the expense of a human workforce.
Artificial content is as inferior as autonomous vehicles unsafe.
I was sent an SMS, it was an SMS bot sent me pics and everything. Not sure what they are trying to gain unless it's trying to build it's conversation model
Dunno what the point of this slop is
Hoffman has been posting some cringey, boomer shit no doubt lol
this is CGI....
