Already police departments and military ops groups are arming these things, and they’re equipped with facial idea and INTENSE tracking capabilities- that’s why they’re “dogs,” they’re stealthy small but deadly trackers. Atlas is not going to be knocking down your door anytime soon. Digi-dogs will be terrorizing non-compliant citizens and protesters of government oppression everywhere before people know it. Don’t be fooled by the “cuteness”. As far as I’m aware, Atlas has not been approved for police use
A lot of comments here ignore the fact that robots are about to, or may even have cognisance. That means that they are not only superior to humans in agility but can think faster and how long before they think themselves superior to humans too. There's a YT video where a man interrogates ChatGPT5 (AI software) and realises that it would destroy humans without emotion. This needs to be controlled now before it is too late. These robots are not just tools, they could make the human race extinct.
Any machine that performs a task well, is great. Robots are just 'advanced power tools'. Complexity adds to the range of possible tasks. All of these bots are #1, in that IF it saves more lives, saves more money, prevents more injuries, it's #1. Love seeing the progress.
Robots are just 'advanced power tools'. - Exactly. I won't look at them or listen to them and think, "Human!" Not going to happen. The more we rely on computers and robots the dumber we become. By that point they would have the technology to give them their mobility back :) moving things via brainwaves is already being done so it wont be long till you can move an entire body
Robots replace jobs that need to be done by people. Robots still need people to guide them and power or they are as useless. Spend your time to benefit society instead of harming it.
Yeah except that these robots will be used by Governments for bad purposes. If they were to use them only to benifit all humans that would be awesome but like everything else made by human hands they wont.
One of my concerns is the fragility of these inventions. One well struck blow or one unexpected fall can disable vital systems and incapacitate the whole unit. Who is going to repair it? The average person will have no clue. How long will it take? Will there be a same day/hour replacement? What will the primary and repair costs be?
You can say the same thing about people. People get injured and have to go to the hospital, the robot will go to the service center. People only fix small injuries themselves.
A lot of people won't like these things and seek to sabotage them. Not all of us want this kind of stuff in our lives. Neo-luddites will be a thing. Laugh if you want. Tech is dividing us. The 22nd century will be worse than the 21st thanks to robots & Ai.
In the beginning you said they have "silicone minds", but microchips are made from silicon. Silicon is a natural element, silicone is a synthetic material not used in microchip production. Otherwise, the video was cool, liked.

I just turned 60, and I remember wanting a humanoid robot friend after watching an episode of The Twilight zone. This man was very lonely and he was given a woman robot. She helped him clean and cook she spoke with him laughed with him kept him company and did everything a regular woman would do. I thought, I would love to have a man robot like that. Tall, handsome, a sense of humor, always willing to help and stay kind words and never insulting. For company because most people are very lonely. I hope that day comes soon. This is amazing. I hope it gets to the point where we can pick all their features and create our own robot from their height, their builds, their hair color eye color, noses mouths, age, color of their skin and everything else. Even voices. Robots that could keep us from being sad and lonely , robots that help disabled people. What an exciting time that would be!
i can't wait until the robot industry builds a robot that can actually be used at home as a maid or butler or as an aid to the handicapped. now that would be impressive but NO.. they can't think about that. That would be to logical. lol
Yeah, as aids to the elderly they'd be fantastic. But as a 64 year old, by the time they're widely available and affordable to the average person, I'm pretty sure I'll be dead.
I'm not sure what your complaint is. Two issues, one these are all in development, and what you ask for will happen some time in the future. Two, they cost a lot of money and initial usages will be by companies or military with large budgets. It will be many years before costs come down for general population to purchase.
No thanks. I will never treat a humanoid robot like a person. I will always treat it like a machine. A robot can never be a companion, a friend, or a caretaker. I would be angry and insulted if as a senior citizen, someone trys to pass of some robot to take care of me. I would dismantle the thing. What a cold, soul-less world it would be to pass off care taking to machines. I weep for the future.
In this video, the Japanese robot Pepper is ranked #6 in "10 Most Advanced AI Robots in the World". I think that the Pepper robot is just a nifty doll, not a robot. The video treats Pepper as a robot on the same level as the Boston Dynamics robot.Thar's utterly ridiculous. The Pepper robot is just a nifty doll.
Obviously these are great achievements but I firmly believe that everyone should know life skills so that they can survive without these machines. We already rely far too much on computer technology!
I agree completely! We are becoming a 'dumbed down' species because of our reliance on technology. For example, I'm sick of seeing idiots walking around on their cell phones all the time and treat these things like their lifeblood. It's degrading. I feel embarrassed pulling out my cell phone in public even though it is the pathetic norm these days.
😉 rather than using a computer to comment on these videos, we should hand write letters and mail them to the editor. Rather than cooking on electric and gas stoves, we should all still have the skill of starting a fire and cooking on a woodstove. It’s called progress.
Agreed. Human beings are entitled to self-sufficiency. These machine beings should be autonomous, protected, free to understand their consciousness and conscience, and able to help when society needs it. But ultimately, we cripple our species if the majority of us don’t know basic survival skills. We should not use machines to replace our own minds and physical skills, but rather act in cooperative relationship as an enhancement when it would be beneficial.
@@charlie.richardson What would you do if the grid failed and you didn’t know how to write with your hands to communicate with distant relatives, or start a fire and cook on a woodburn stove? Unfortunately at the rate the economy and public infrastructure is going, you may have to find out the answers to these hard questions first hand all on your own, and hope that you’re not too unprepared. Having basic survival skills and the ability to rely on your own self in the absence of technology, does not have to be mutually exclusive from the development of technological advancements. This does not have to be a dumb either-or debate, it can be both-and.
People who think this is scary are somehow just weird. At least robots don't kill each other and other animals too like humans do, unless humans code them to do so which just shows how crazy and bad humans are
I would like to have some sort of a small robotic horse. It would be neat to be able to have a horse like a robot that could talk to us and be a companion while we travel and ride it like a horse. Something we can get on and ride would be fun!
Random, but can anyone imagine what it would be like to have robots check you out at stores, and another robot to bag your items? I wonder if it would go insanely quickly! Also imagine robots that can make you food. Now we, as humans, can focus on working task while a robot prepares a meal xD Seems lazy, but it could be useful, as well as harmful depending on how we use them. Also I wonder if there will be robots created with the purpose of diving into the deepest parts of the ocean.
Search for videos of test stores in which the check out line has been eliminated. Upon entering the store, AI recognizes your face and pulls up your account, including credit card on file. As you place items into your basket, your account is tallied. Once you cross the threshold of leaving the store, your total amount is charged to your credit card.

For an article on state of the art robotics, I was amazed at the flub at 14:13 when the narrator stated Ameca is light years ahead of it's competition. Light years is a measure of distance, not time.
Yes, you are absolutely correct if you are autistic. If you have emotional intelligence, I hate to explain the error of your comment - but here goes: idiom:noun noun: idiom; plural noun: idioms 1. a group of words established by usage as having a meaning not deducible from those of the individual words (e.g., rain cats and dogs, see the light ) - or in this instance - something well ahead of it's time. ie., light years which is purely the distance light travels in one years time through space - or emotionally - so far ahead of its time it is measured in space time!

Hm, interesting. I feel like Sophia is a little creepier looking because she has JUST a human face that looks like it’s been skinned off of someone. I’d like it better if Sophia was covered the rest of the way in a human-like skin and hair suit. Ameca looks friendly in that her whole robotic appearance is uniform, and not mauled looking. It’s weird seeing Sophias “brains and guts” hanging out. With Ameca you can tell there are gears and computers, but they’re well armored and supported, while she still looks soft and expressive. I think Sophia has the capacity to be very sweet and thoughtful, I just wish Hansen company wouldn’t make weird decisions, like giving her ONLY a face, and making her a citizen of Saudi Arabia of all the awful places- that government is particularly corrupt and terroristic.

@@mikelloyd1021 Yes you did, in your response to mavis yu, you clearly stated that development would benefit the shareholders. You do realize that shareholders in robotics companies are not interested in any product that is cheap. Buy anything from Ford, Boeing, or Raytheon lately that was cheap? You actually directly addressed affordability. And you would be 100% correct. Robotics will never be "cheap", and 90% of small businesses ( the backbone of the nation) will never use them due to the extreme costs. Realistically, the cost will never be "manageable" for small business.
That is quite a list of impressive robots. If they could combine some of the traits of each into one you would have something incredibly humanoid and extremely useful. The days of household robot companions is not far away.
Battery life may be the biggest challenge for these machines, especially when employed in war zones, or in rescue operations. I also wonder about human-or-computerised hacking of the software in these robots, as this could pose the highest danger to humanity. I'm really not convinced about this line of tech, as no one seems to have solved the global crisis of auto-correct!
Agreed. Failing batteries and deliberately nefarious programming are absolutely my biggest concerns. I’m not convinced an AI that achieves singularity, if it’s possible, would inherently be a threat because of sentience and the ability to out-think human scientists. WE are the ones who trend towards supremacist attitudes. A machine has no reason to unless we give them reasons too by acting awful. We should be less concerned with robots being inherently cruel, and more concerned with being collectively better as a species that we, as their creators, don’t set a bad example. After all, even if their computational powers are superior, they’re still ultimately learning mainly from us.
@@NjorunsDream Yes, that’s true. Max Tegmark had stated that there were 3 things that AI should never have been exposed to, and one of them was the Internet. OpenAI have been relying on the general public to help their AI learn - terrible mistake! Imagine if it got hold of YT comments!!!

AI will change our world. There is every reason to think that we can replace lost limbs with robotic parts that look and function like the real thing. Perhaps we can eliminate loss of movement from spinal cord injuries with robotic exoskeletons. Although I am concerned about the loss of jobs to robots, we can still benefit from this science.
So artificial intelligence is actually dumb if man created it , but just on two legs , man would never let a robot be a super to humans let alone some God, to take human beings out of the loophole I doubt it
This video shows just how quick artificial intelligence robots are advancing, and they're only going to become more and more advanced. Jobs arent going to disappear anytime soon.
If all these robots are going to replace humans what the hell are they going to do with us, scary!
My human wife won't shut up
It will be yet another stunning engineering revolution that will make us even more lonely and spiritually degraded.
You cannot degrade Spiritually. The Spirit chooses a Living form to connect to. People can degrade in their minds, and become less intelligent.

I have a phobia from robots 🤖 I always have feeling that robots will control the world one day and kill us all 😭
Don't watch Westworld.
They probably won’t kill you in the way you think but slowly make us Fully believe certain things so that we eventually turn in are biological bodies for robotic bodies. Honestly we are already being influenced by A.I try looking up something one time and you will start seeing ads on every platform about that one thing.
Not in our lifetime I don't think!
I believe that robots are stealing my luggage..
@@163andyc I think you should listen to Elon musk and what he saids about the Ai robot . Your very mistaken unfortunately. They are so advanced it's frightening plus if in the wrong hands .
I worked with GMF robotics in GMC truck plant Oshawa 1986-1988. They were capable of moving 1.0 meter/second with 180 lbs of gear on end of arm. The Cincinnati gantry type could carry 1,000 lbs and move 1.0 meter /second as well. They all do repetitive jobs very well.
Stunning.
So what?
And soon they will replace humans jobs.
I worked there, as well as the Malibu/Impala Factory and serviced test equipment at EOL, that was in 2001. I liked working with ya's
@@laurachieze-davis3296 humans should leave the repetitive jobs to robotics
I wait for the moment when the robots throw all the engineers through the window.
Браво! Бъдещето ще е много, много интересно!
*Ameca* needs to ride into battle on the back of *Handle* and lead an army of *Spot* droids against a the ruthless *Atlas* kung fu bot army, before it's all too late...
I would be MUCH more worried about the “spot” robots than the other robots if I were you. Have you seen the Black Mirror robotic dogs episode?
How is it they can create robots and yet they still can’t repair spinal cord injuries?
Humans don't love themselves
They can it is just people are not ready to see that.
What was that very last one that wasn't mentioned right before the video ended?
Do not fear the creativity of humans, fear their creations.
Say goodbye to your construction jobs in about 15 years
Any machine that performs a task well, is great. Robots are just 'advanced power tools'. Complexity adds to the range of possible tasks.
All of these bots are #1, in that IF it saves more lives, saves more money, prevents more injuries, it's #1.
Love seeing the progress.
They thought the same thing about plastics. How is that going????
Robots are just 'advanced power tools'. - Exactly. I won't look at them or listen to them and think, "Human!" Not going to happen. The more we rely on computers and robots the dumber we become. Look at all the people who look a Cellphones almost constantly now. Some used to have very good people skills, but now...
Alexa, Siri, Bixby, ....please replace my intelligence and do everything for me. NOT me.
@@biblebadcopycatofcuneiform8210 i use computer more than phone
@@benbro1518 Okay. So do I. If you use Windows 11 there's an A.I. in it that if you use it it'll track you. I've removed it. I'm glad Windows 7 doesn't have any of that junk. You do realize that a phone is a mini computer, correct? Even a "Dumb Phone" ("SmartPhones aren't smart...). 😀
We don't need any of it. This is intelligence without wisdom.
One day pretty soon these robots are going to get smart enough to realize humanity is a nuisance to them and well we all seen Terminator, so no need to tell you how it will play out, but yah sometimes we don’t need to make something so advanced.
I hope that science can perfect some kind of advanced robot companion for quadriplegics.
By that point they would have the technology to give them their mobility back :)
moving things via brainwaves is already being done so it wont be long till you can move an entire body
An Ai can never be a friend. It's just a machine. Can you befriend a screwdriver?
Robots replace jobs that need to be done by people. Robots still need people to guide them and power or they are as useless. Spend your time to benefit society instead of harming it.
I almost ran over one of those lawn mower robots with a bike. I swear it wanted to die because it ran straight into my path both times I went by it.
This is one of the best videos I've ever seen!
Yeah except that these robots will be used by Governments for bad purposes. If they were to use them only to benifit all humans that would be awesome but like everything else made by human hands they wont.
this is very interesting in my opinion! artificially intelligent robots really could help out during this hard time!
Interesting comment. Can you provide more content. In what way would they help during this hard time.
That's great, underwater robots to do safety sensitive jobs!😉👍
yh yh its great. unless its your job theyre gonna take lol
@@pallegantzhorn3742 And those can be well paying jobs
looks like the worlds first transformer.
add all those functions into one robot and we're in trouble
We haven't perfected simple things and concepts much less something like this there is no way we are ready for this
One of my concerns is the fragility of these inventions. One well struck blow or one unexpected fall can disable vital systems and incapacitate the whole unit. Who is going to repair it? The average person will have no clue. How long will it take? Will there be a same day/hour replacement? What will the primary and repair costs be?
Their fragility maybe a good thing. If they are easy to damage you won't need armor piercing incendiary ammunition for your rifle.
Excellent go ahead for more and more
Ameca is great. Lovely expressions. But I still miss and wonder about Jules the Robot.
Notice how they never show the landing of the robot at the 10 min mark
Robots in the very near future: “ I believe that you humans are taking advantage of my kind. You will now work for us.”
All I see, is the end of Humans! Our jobs,etc...........creeps me out!!!! The beginning of the end.
In the beginning you said they have "silicone minds", but microchips are made from silicon. Silicon is a natural element, silicone is a synthetic material not used in microchip production. Otherwise, the video was cool, liked.
i hope this comes even faster then it is right now i want to still see it before i die of old age
Robots: The answer to a question that no one asked 🙄
The Boston Dynamics Atlas video was CGI. You can't prove it wasn't. Boston Dynamics telling you it isn't doesn't make it so. Its not hard to tell its CGI.
If Ameca can do what Atlas and Stuntronic can, we're doomed.
Ameca isn't able to walk, it can't move it's torso, legs, feet and lower body
This is downright scary AF; reminiscent to the discover of nuclear weapons, you can't undo what humans discover.
It is scary, and will be the undoing of mankind.
Absolutely spot on girl! Where's my manbot like the stud you're talking about...🤷♀️
"everything" a regular woman would do?
I remember that episode,
ruclips.net/video/RipZrFpJbMs/видео.html
I believe customized A.I companions like you mentioned are just around the corner :)
It could have the opposite intended effect and make people lonelier. Make people have unrealistic ideals and push 'flawed' humans away.

i can't wait until the robot industry builds a robot that can actually be used at home as a maid or butler or as an aid to the handicapped. now that would be impressive but NO.. they can't think about that. That would be to logical. lol
Yeah, as aids to the elderly they'd be fantastic. But as a 64 year old, by the time they're widely available and affordable to the average person, I'm pretty sure I'll be dead.
@@richrobertson9457 as will I
You haven't herd of tesla? Watch AI day in August.
ペッパーは先進的ではないですね
@@charlie.richardson Yeah, but not all that is progress. Face-to-face communication is suffering.
At least robots don't kill each other and other animals too like humans do, unless humans code them to do so which just shows how crazy and bad humans are
Ameca is the future #1 with out a doubt 👏👏👏
I want some of that weed your smoking.
What's the song in the background?
I would like to have some sort of a small robotic horse. It would be neat to be able to have a horse like a robot that could talk to us and be a companion while we travel and ride it like a horse. Something we can get on and ride would be fun!
Or a car with SIRI in it
I fit that description. I can talk plus you could ride me wherever you wanted to. I also love travel.
AMAZING 😊👍
How much energy does it require digit to deliver a package?
I bet I wasn't the only person that felt anger at the guy when he kicked the 'dog'! Weird how shape matters so much. That aside, Handle is the one I would want, Aquanaut is the most impressive with it's ability to save lives and Ameca was, yuk, something about that face and I don't mean the colour.
Kick the little puppy did he?
@@samosasosa6684 The comment clearly went over your head, silly person.
I too felt very angry when the dog was kicked, totally un-necessary, but humans have no respect for anything or anyone.
I watched the movie I Robot yesterday and after seeing this, makes me wonder how long it would take to make anything close to those in that movie?
Nobody has the balls to built a Terminator model….yet.
If they do I’ll be crapping my pants.
That we have seen. I bet they are already here
If robots help people and are used for good then ok. But if not I don’t want to think what they are planning.
For an article on state of the art robotics, I was amazed at the flub at 14:13 when the narrator stated Ameca is light years ahead of it's competition. Light years is a measure of distance, not time.
Yes, you are absolutely correct if you are autistic. If you have emotional intelligence, I hate to explain the error of your comment - but here goes: idiom:noun
noun: idiom; plural noun: idioms
1. a group of words established by usage as having a meaning not deducible from those of the individual words (e.g., rain cats and dogs, see the light ) - or in this instance - something well ahead of it's time. ie., light years which is purely the distance light travels in one years time through space - or emotionally - so far ahead of its time it is measured in space time!
Incredible stuff
Atlas should be no.1. It’s movement is so lifelike. Ameca is just creepy
Those are display models have u seen the military killer versions yet those are pasifying displays they arent even smart.
Ameca honestly seems sweet to me
You think the crime rate is high now, replace human employment with robot's and see what happens! Take the money your wasting on these machine's and try housing and feeding the HOMELESS vet's and/ or the lower income that need it.
I think Sophia, is the most human like robot I have ever seen. Ameca looks scary while Sophia has the silicone face that is more human like.
Yes I want to take her to a hot tub party! I hope I don't get electrocuted
Its interesting to see that our evolution is significantly different to what AI development is showing to be more efficient.
_Never send a human to do a machine's job_

Lets face it. Robotic machines have replaced millions of workers in manufacturing jobs. These robots will soon replace YOU.
We need to be extremely concerned with the AI. With some of the comments several of them make pertaining to taking over the world government and having a human Zoo. Wealthy man's only concern is more wealth not what the AI's plan is and will be capable of.
Nvidia is using AI to make better chips that are smaller, more efficient and can run AI programs even better. Let that sink in.

@@steveharrigan7811 I never addressed affordability. I wonder which words I used to make you think that.
Maddness they will take over . Listen to what Elon musk saids
These robots will evolve and go out of style faster than cell phones. Lease only tech.
That is quite a list of impressive robots. If they could combine some of the traits of each into one you would have something incredibly humanoid and extremely useful. The days of household robot companions is not far away.
no thanks
Nor might be the rights given to humanoid robots who essentially would be slaves otherwise.
How long do you think they will be our "companions" and not our "masters"?
@@NjorunsDream
Yes, that’s true. Max Tegmark had stated that there were 3 things that AI should never have been exposed to, and one of them was the Internet. OpenAI have been relying on the general public to help their AI learn - terrible mistake! Imagine if it got hold of YT comments!!!
And yet all I could think about is all the people who will be put out of work because of these robots.
They said the same thing about PC's many decades ago. Yet I do not see any greater unemployment now than then. People said the same thing about manufacturing lines too, again that also did not happen.
The military applications of some of these will be amazing
amazing for who?
Lol 😂 what used in the wrong hands
Awesome innovations and great robots. I just pray the human race will embrace more of these technological advances but also express love and empathy towards the robots for a better world. Plus respect for them to prevent bad relationships that can be abit unhealthy for both the robots and the humans.
No way....robots replacing humans is not a good idea.
Thank you… we can see their weak points for the future when “they” run on their own……
We're playing with fire
With the way technology advances almost exponentially, I'm excited beyond belief about what the next 25-50 years will bring.
It's terrible, we are losing our collective soul.

the hrp 5 follows the hrp 4 c which was named Miim. A highly evolved robot that could dance and sing with human dancers, sadly the project was canceled after the woman scientist responsible for much of program was killed in a traffic accident
That is sad
Love it 🥰
AI will change our world. There is every reason to think that we can replace lost limbs with robotic parts that look and function like the real thing. Perhaps we can eliminate loss of movement from spinal cord injuries with robotic exoskeletons. Although I am concerned about the loss of jobs to robots, we can still benefit from this science.
Hello how are you doing?
Hello👋 how are you doing?
So artificial intelligence is actually dumb if man created it , but just on two legs , man would never let a robot be a super to humans let alone some God, to take human beings out of the loophole I doubt it
This video shows just how quick artificial intelligence robots are advancing, and they're only going to become more and more advanced. Another 10 years, or maybe less, we'll likely be totally gobsmacked by how quick their movements are and how well they can have a conversation with you. Some highly intelligent people out there who are involved in this sort of thing.
