Compliant mechanisms is the thing you should look forward to.
Mars! LOL you mean Groom Lake.
Or just end up killing all of us🤔
Watching people kick the robot showing how it steadies itself, I was wanting the robot to kick back at the person.
How about doing a compendium of all the interesting movie robots and a little of their background.
9:26 is it only me who thinks this robot will be the leader of the robot army
Edit: I have never got so many likes 😃
Yeah kinda like the movie I, Robot 🤖 this is the end times
Yea but is can only do stunts while in mid air, it can't even stand, its made by Disney to replace human stunt doubles
yeah he's about to lead the whole pack... we will need will smith to save us.
"It can make its own real time decisions"
*Dear god*
THE OMNIC CRISIS IS AT HAND
So... Iran engineered an elderly person. Never thought they would go the Benjamin Button route
and 190 of 195 countries did nothing even close to that. so do not laugh at something your self cannot do.
At least we built this robot under sanctions, something that most non-sanctioned countries cannot do.
Wasnt trying to bashing Iran, I'm sure there are way better ones now anyway. The way the guy in the video talked about it made me laugh. And you are right, I could not build that. I have trouble building a deck.
I chuckled when the narrator said it could do less than one kilometer per hour. That's severely geriatric, indeed.
?
9:56 "Make sure it makes a perfect landing . . . *Lands on head.
Yeah, then dusts itself off, and carry on like nothing ever happened, ...... ouch!
Been waiting for robots to get more advance hope I see in my life time. Xxx
I think after 40 years we are finally entering the age of robotics. The next 10 years are going to be interesting as we see more an more of these things doing actual work. Boston Dynamics has made some incredible advancements in the last decade, just give them one more.
We have been in the age of robotics for decades now... what do you think assembled your car?
Humans have been making mistakes for thousands of years and it about time we find a replacement that accurate robots are a PERFECT REPLACEMENT
We need robots to plant more crops.
Cheap and intelligent robots would be great in permaculture systems. I hope to see them in the 2040s.
The robots erased your farm land and replaced it with solar panels. They don't need food...and according to them, neither do we !
That's what happened to indian farmers 😂😂
and to pick them....
@@SeaJay_Oceans Riiiighht! I was thinking to have one care for chickens and yard, maybe roomba the floor? Maybe better to find a nice lady.
We need more robots for doing hard labor at extreme temperatures. Please.
Looks like we've finally caught up with science fiction. Give them a little more introspective thought and who knows what might happen!!!...
This stuff won't be common these days and it's rare which makes it pricey. Once the wealthy population starts getting into these soon it could become cheaper and the rest could afford
@@banger2998 Oh child
Still need ultra efficient, super light weight, batteries. Piece by piece though. First movement/navigation and basic tasks (pick up, put down, jump, avoid falling), then object recognition and advanced sensors, then general purpose decision making, by then maybe power/battery tech will catch up, and realistic androids workers/helpers will be possible. 50-100 years. I'll be dead by then. Maybe they can landscape and look after my grave.
All of this makes me wonder if they will be able to remake a specific person as robot
What's your favorite technological advancement
Ummm gaming pc
QueenAbigail gay
@@The.UnthoughtKnown
Gay = attracted to same gender
Conclusion: QueenAbigail is not gay, He/she is not showing any sign of being attracted to the same gender 🧐
If all these technologies where put into one robot i can see terminator or irobot becoming a reality
I think that Boston dynamics are going to make a ton of robots for the future
There's a lot of potential "Terminators" to choose from here. I hope it happens after I die from old age.
Y I'm never having kids.
Good, the world has too many stupid people already.
@@jhomer38 you’re the one who’s afraid of technology 😂😂😂 oooooo big bad scary robots !! You watch too many movies. Go to college man.
Not for me, being frozen lol I hope one day to see things that make these things look like a badly made toy...
All of this makes me wonder if they will be able to remake a specific person as robot
Atlas can do back flips while I can’t even skip
Sounds like a you problem big man
And daredevil can think like everything is slow motion and its basically the same thing as FRICKING SPIDER-MAN
I wouldn’t say that in the RUclips comments. You’ll get a bunch of keyboard warriors flexing their virtual muscles at you.
MrZombie lol ya
Atlas is awesome, imagine some of these and an enormous 3D printer working together to build things.
Until the robots become sentient and use the 3d printer to mass produce an army
@@loganmcallister4635 lol
@@loganmcallister4635 one of the first things back in the day i said when i watched a video about 3d printing metals and other things was something like... "we should treat our robots good befor they figure out how to operate 3d printers"
I want to hang out with pepper, parkour with atlas, have a spot buddy, build with hap, take a selfie with Surena, and do a stunt with stuntronic.
I for one, can't wait for our robot overlords.
These aren't the droids we were looking for.
But we are getting there
clankers
Move along
bro watch, give it 5-10 years and we'll have that advanced utopia we see in movies.
these robots are still in their infancy, there's SO much yet to come and we dont even have to wait too long.
@@amerlad the dude was talking about battle droids in star wars
Atlas! Yeh "search and rescue" ? More like search and destroy!
They re fucking sick, man..
Man stfu
right
Real life aimbot
Destroy the enemy yeah!!
We need more humanoid robots that combine atlas' agility and and sophia's communication skills
No
@@Martian916 why?

Thank you for your service ❤
Could you imagine if these companies work together or at least shared information
Coolest 🤖 is hands down Boston Dynamic’s Atlas. I thought I was watching CGI flipping AWESOME!
Atlas is bada$$!!.
Handle was way more cool than I was expecting :)
OMG...!!!...All the power and grace to the dedicated roboticist who studied, stewardship, and thought that brings our consciousness to challenge this new brazen knowledge...!!!
I think it would be great to have robots help at home needs such as helping and taking care of old people, do house work, etc.
5:18 modern version of Santa and his robot reindeers
I believe I saw that in an episode of Futurama
Even Elon Musk is scared that humans won't be able to control AI and AI robotics one day. (Joe Rogan podcast)
It's spot on too if you listen to physicists. A micro chip in a birthday card that sings would've been priceless during WW2 computers will be worth not nearly as much in 10 years.
only if robots control the internet and power grid.
@Benson Wishful thinking.
All those robots are so damn impressive
That moonwalk at 5:39 though!🔥💯
Now imagine if all of the masterminds behind these robots grouped together and mixed ALL of these ideas into one single robot... This would mean DOOM for us alright
Aldo Paulino how would it mean doom ALL OF THESE DIGITS ARE FRIENDLY BRUH
Boston dynamics has always had the best craziest funniest robots since they were kicking "big dogs" ass in their promo videos.
Boston dynamics 😳 out of this world, great work.
Hell I would love to have some of those robots at my facility. When can these robots start learning from human behavior?
They don't dude they just follow a program...
I build robotic automation lines using Fanuc robots and would LOVE a tour of the Boston dynamics shop!
I was most impressed with the usefulness of the Transformer Aquabot. Now, if we can just get one to do spacewalking, to repair spaceships, and one for a fireman, (that wont melt nor burn everything it touches when hot) we might have something!
What can I say? Fantastic! I want to see all these robots on the streets, in houses, everywhere. I use wheelchair. My wife use it too. And such an assistant would be very useful to us. 😊👍
Just pay the $75,000, and Boston Dynamics will sell you "Spot" the yellow 4-legged robot.
@Game Over 😀 I´m not rich. I havn´t so much money.

The Jetsons will be a real future soon if technology keeps advancing. Which would be cool.
Well these guys clearly haven't watched a single episode of black mirror
This is the video that plays when they explain "how it all started" in every movie about machines taking over.. like bruh..
Wow! So splendid video, informative and highly used for teaching English ☺
Glad you liked it!
I am still waiting for Cyberdyne System T101 model. 😎
This is the end.
Of human species. They will take all jobs and we wont be needed
First comes coronavirus, then first world countries block immigrants, and refugees, claiming that it prevents new pandemics, then China, USA, South Korea, among others, will sell robots and equipment that replace immigrant labor for example.
You guys watch too many movies 😂😂😂😂
Lol you guys have watched too many “robots take over movies” I bet you all believe coronavirus was made by China
Now I understand why they put 5G in every country!!!
