Wool makes me super itchy too! I just cannot wear it. The only exception I've found is Merino wool, I'm fine with that. Your thrift stores are amazing! In Ireland they are usually tiny.
Same here! Merino wool I can usually wear, at least if it's fine. But I have tried some thicker knitwear labeled as merino wool and got itchy 🤷🏼♀️ We also do have some smaller trift stores especially in cities, but the best ones are these larger halls located outside of a city centres :)
