Just apply physique development like the basketball/rugby players and military training and America will be a beast.

No doubt USA would definitely be better than they are now, but to say they would be better than England, is a different story entirely ,however, they definitely would be on the same level.

A few world cups involving Brazil comes to mind like 1950 and 1982 where they clearly had the best team but did not win and England not qualifying for a few world cups despite having decent national squads at the time. Sure if Soccer or Football instead of a minor sport in USA was a major sport. I have no doubt they would have won a world cup or two. The talent pool in the U.S. from the various communities that live their would have been incredible backed by the support that American football, Basketball, Ice Hockey, Atletics or Baseball enjoys. Yeah sure no doubt U.S. would have won a few world cups I have no doubt. Just look what they did by being a minor sport imagine how it would be if Soccer was followed in U.S. with the same passion they follow in England?

Yet are consistently outplayed by countries with similar or smaller populations like Argentina, Spain, Italy, France etc. All I am doing is equalizing the US with every other nation in love of the game from the beginning. It's an absolute fact that the US would be miles ahead of England and would have won multiple World Cups.
The US is the most successful sports nation in the world (in terms of Olympic, world championship and major results), and is all time (most top players, most successful in olympics, major or world championship in the sport all time) the best in baseball, basketball, track and field, swimming, lacrosse, beach volleyball, figure skating, tennis, golf, boxing, diving, shooting, rowing, snowboarding etc and is all time top 5 in ice hockey, wrestling, gymnastics, volleyball, speed skating, alpine skiing, bobsleigh, equestrian, sailing, cycling, weightlifting, archery etc.
The ONLY sports the US isn't all time the most successful in or top 5 in are sports other nations care 1000x more about
