@What Sheep See You have more control over that than I think you realize. Start listening to your own "self talk". What you say to yourself. Is it encouraging? Is it judgmental? Just listen for a few days or so. Then consider how much better you would feel and think if you started determining your own voice in your self talk. @@sonatashinome4672 ok, thanks👍
The problem with that is that children usually dont know what an emergency really is, some children might think having a headache is an emergency, some might think their parents are just sleeping when they get unconscious.
@@vinimooraess Okay, but generally you don't just go to sleep after falling down the stairs and that's exactly the reason OP said TEACH
I actually did as a kid, as part of a thing in primary school I got taught how to escape a burning building and then got given a scenario I had report over the phone to the "police". I remember being very nervous because I thought it was the actual police.

Gifted. But more importantly - at age three she is still treated with respect, so she is not afraid to approach adults and talk with them. Ignoring children, or teaching them not to talk around adults stifles these gifts.
That girls already a brilliant child
@What Sheep See
You have more control over that than I think you realize. Start listening to your own "self talk". What you say to yourself. Is it encouraging? Is it judgmental? Just listen for a few days or so. Then consider how much better you would feel and think if you started determining your own voice in your self talk. If this seems odd, then take a character you admire out of a book or show, and use the voice of that character to talk to yourself. "Well I certainly could do better on that!" Is so much better than "Blew it again!" Start to take charge of your own life!
@What Sheep See
You are welcome. Now be kind to yourself! And good luck.

Yes, the girl is in that particular situation is with Plesence and Presence of mind. Children didn't think about what if anything negative happens or something will gone wrong ....they just deal with it....
That's mainly because she was too young to even know how seriously dangerous this incident was...she might have been doing what her mommy told her at the moment...but fortunately everything turned out to be good...in the description it says the mother and the baby was saved.
She’s too small to know the gravity of the situation. She probably has never witness something die before so of course she thought her mother was just going back to sleep 😣.
Also, out of the *Fight, Flight or Freeze response* . Seeming calm when you’re actually in *shock & disassociating* is part of the *Freeze* response.
