@@Baybieangel209 There's a huge difference between asking and springing it on her. Welcoming a new baby is a big responsibility, and "happy couples" need to include each other in major life-changing decisions like this. People have this idea that addiction is a simple choice. A choice that only bad people make. But truth be told, there are a million and one ways someone can fall into addiction and it can happen to anyone. It’s easy to believe it can never happen to you or anyone around you, but addiction is far more common then people realize. Cause some people also forget that drugs aren’t the only form of addiction either.
Yep, my sister was in a domestic violence situation. Her bf threw a ceramic dish at her and it almost cut her finger off. She had to have surgery and was prescribed an opioid for pain. She became addicted and her neighbor who was a dealer took advantage of her vulnerability. He basically had her kidnapped. He made her take drugs, drive him places in stolen cars and even had her new boyfriend killed after she had finally got away. She finally got away again almost a year after he killed her bf. She love fat but it was the only way for her to get away from him go good.

We adopted our youngest son, whose birth mother was an addict. If you’re looking to adopt, don’t be afraid to take on one of these children, they may need a little extra help, but they will bring you joy. All of our children bring us happiness but he is the joy of our family, he’s the youngest, and he is surrounded and protected by all of us. He is successful and thriving, he doesn’t have any issues as far as behavior or substance abuse attraction. He’s actually a very humble, kind and funny guy, we love him so much.
@C H it's not always a choice. People are prescribed medicines by the doctor that they trust, and become addicted. Eventually the pills aren't enough and they move on to stronger things....from the streets. Nobody wakes up and says "today im going to become an addict and spend the rest of my life in misery." 🙄 Even for those who did choose to use opiates the first time, are they not deserving of help just because they made a bad choice? Have you never made a bad decision? The wrong decision? Trust me, it only takes 1 or 2 times of using heroin to become addicted to it. That quick, a person finds themselves trying to get more bc they literally feel like their body is going to shut down if they don't. All because of the one bad decision. Again, nobody wakes up dreaming of becoming an addict and living that lifestyle. I sure hope that you or someone you care about never has a bad day and makes that bad decision. The way things are going in the world today with addiction, it is *very* possible and *very* likely that addiction will hit close to home for you, and I hope no one turns their nose up at your family/friend and says "you shouldn't have chosen to abuse opiates." That would really suck. 😬🤷

@Charlee Barlee is correct. In general, it is difficult to see any person or group acting selflessly when you watch the news. Unfortunately, the news is quite often the only place to find out what’s happening in the world around us, especially in a geographically large place, like the United States.Do you not believe that it’s possible that one or more good natured, selfless cop can be found within every city and county? The media can only show you a glimpse of what happens in the world around us, and for a variety of reasons, they prioritize, sensationalize, exaggerate, and sometimes completely lie about news that induces fear and creates the perception of a nation divided by race, political ideology, etc. I am not trying to say the man featured in this clip doesn’t deserve the praise and recognition he received, but to think that he is the only police to have done something like this, or to believe that selfless, kindhearted loving police don’t exist everywhere is a misperception that develops from depending on the media to paint the picture of how the world really is. Look up any city, any police department here on RUclips - surely you will find dozens of stories about police doing wonderful things,

Captain dumb then got angry at me for showing him such graphic imagery during a control. I just answered I wanted to give concrete proof the child was mine and I was not trying to kidnap him and sell him to the Satanist church for sacrifices. (I was and fry at that point. Officers had been rude and did not allow me to pick up my son when he was crying so I kinda blew up and purposefully show him the picture of me birthing the child) I got brought to the station and got a fine for "disrespecting the officer". I appealed that shit and ended up not having to pay anything because actually it was the officer who went too far with me, assuming I kidnapped my son and being rude about it. She later went home told her husband they are adopting and he says "okay" lol. After the adoption of baby girl, two years after to be exact, the baby has a sibling, baby boy.... now adopted by my brother and sister in law. Its stressful but worth it. My niece and nephew are so adorable and amazing ❤.
@@Baybieangel209 There's a huge difference between asking and springing it on her. Welcoming a new baby is a big responsibility, and "happy couples" need to include each other in major life-changing decisions like this. Even if he knows his wife and knows that she'd be willing to adopt, he should have at least checked with her out of respect (and to hear any concerns) before making the offer, instead of agreeing to adopt and then TELLING her that he'd made the decision on behalf of both of them. I understand that in the moment he was likely very emotional and might not have thought that much, but making major decisions without your spouse's input not something that we should be glorifying by any means.
His wife is everything I want to be, she’s hopeful and positive, she took what any person would’ve panicked about or made worse, positive.

He is successful and thriving, he doesn’t have any issues as far as behavior or substance abuse attraction. He’s actually a very humble, kind and funny guy, we love him so much.
Opioid addiction is very real. We must stop judging others and help instead
It's really, really, really easy to get addicted to pain pills.. been there, done that..

Facts this man is a great example of what we need
Hi zee We do have cops like this. They’re just hardly recognized.
@@hizee5515 The world would be even more amazing if no citizens broke laws and committed crimes.
For the couple that gave birth to Hope, I pray that they can live a meaningful life and just shine and grow and still be part of Hope’s life as well.
Selfless acts of love. Amazing. Wonderful. Perfect example to everyone. Thank You for sharing with us.
Thanks for sharing....seems cold according to Reddit. I think so too.
1969Vanessa G what do you mean seems cold?
1969Vanessa G Did you mean to write that?
@@brandymoore7191
Maybe!
1969Vanessa G I have no idea what that means or what you think is cold.
People just assume that all drug addicts and people like her are just bad but she’s just a lost souls who can’t get off these horrible chemicals, so if you see someone like this just know that they need help not punishment
its illegal for a reason
NewtslayerProductions yeah. Look at RDJ! He used to be an addict, and with the help of his amazing wife he turned his life around and did an amazing job as iron man. :)
Kate A. Even obama did drugs!
Anisa Farah Obama smoked weed, he didn’t do heroine and meth . Lmao
Martha Banks When I was a teenager I used drugs, I drank, I pretty much tried whatever was out there.” These are his exact words and thats what i stated i dont really know what but he said he did drugs lfmao get your facts straight
It is his purpose to be a policeman . You don’t find selfless , kindhearted loving police these days . He is truly a man of Christ .May God bless him and his family !
Look up any city, any police department here on RUclips - surely you will find dozens of stories about police doing wonderful things,
They are everywhere. You have blinded yourself with implicit bias.
The news only presents an extremely small percent. I know more decent people who are officers like this guy than whose who aren’t. If more weren’t good people, we’d have a more obvious problem
@@silverstar4289 It's a fuckin miracle to the "woke".. bleh.
Si !
I wish I had neighbors like this officer and his beautiful family. Just going to bed at night and waking up the next morning would be made brighter (knowing) I was in close proximity to true goodness.
Awe, my mom named me Hope because she said I was the hope for her future because she was on drugs as well. She’s stayed clean since getting pregnant with me and I’m almost 21. She’s now a homeschool mom to my 3 little siblings and has been married to my step dad since I was 4. I love this story.
Beautiful
That’s So Amazing ❤️God Bless all of you!!
Hope Unknown ❤️
We need more Hope people
Hope Unknown I’m so proud of your mother
The world needs more people like him. Not just a responsible cop, he is a wonderful human being. The trust he has for his family, is so beautiful..
they’re genuinely good people, no politics, just hope.
except I bet 100% that this guy is probably Conservative and very Christian. Both things that the liberals are so hateful against. Democrats hate Christians and police officers
@@rihanajan9798 not true I don't know where your hearing this but I have a relative and a family friend that is in the law enforcement and he's a democratic voter also there Christians that means your wrong about that
This couple are amazing for helping the birth parents too.
Noone plans to be an addict.
I hope my son pulls thru it too.
I have the most admiration for them
This officer deserves a lot of credit but his wife??? Man! Well done. God bless you and your family...
What a marriage. They are absolutely on the same page.
Agreed, it's amazing
If everybody had a heart like this the world could be a better place.
Absolutely.
GOD BLESSS THIS POLICE OFFICER AND ALL THE GOOD HEARTED PEOPLE LIKE HIM.
Hello 2020 all the people like him. Sure his wife is a great human like him too :)
Inb4 the angry atheists come and wish cancer on you
I'm adopted. This cop's kindness brings me to tears. So much humanity. We need more cops like him. God bless him and his family. 🙏May Hope grow big and strong. Good cops like him make the world a better place.
Same here I cried with joy
I’m a 38 year old bloke, sat in bed blubbing my eyes out! Very well done to this man and women. 2 true heroes!
tim davies wtf is a bloke
Chahzy Verazzano it’s a term for man I think
@@evisfree9639 It's british slang for "dude" or "man".
C W I believe it’s actually an Aussie expression
I'm not a bloke (lol) but I cried my eyes out as well. This is a beautiful story.
Damn I wish my birth mother was like this, kept shooting up with me, I was born addicted and I was taken away by the state at 6 months. My birth mother still doesn’t realize that you can’t be an addict and a mother. 21 years later she’s back in jail doing the same thing.
Sarah Hudson I'm sorry to hear that. Looks like you turned out splendidly!
Sarah Hudson I am so sorry to hear that but You turned out amazing
You are drop. Dead pretty we share the same story remember we are survivors🙏🙏🙏🙏 stay strong
So sorry to hear that. I can’t imagine a world without my mom. God bless you!!!
Same here I was born addicted and my mom is back in jail
Both him and his wife are literal angels on Earth that found each other, and were meant for each other. They could do a lot of good in this world. So much love for them all ❤️
Could? They are already doing good!
Such a beautiful baby. I’m happy the officer came just in time to rescue her.
This guy is truly an angel. For him, I'd believe in Jesus and go to church.
Honestly, you should go with Jesus, it is very worth going with him. Though Jesus does promises tough times like trials and tribulations, you got to know that this life is only temporary and that the spiritual side is eternal and it would be wise to seek God for yourself. But you should seek him with all your heart. Sorry for the many words but I just wanted to make sure I tell you what you should know, also God is ready with open arms to receive you and any pain or sorrow or any mistake you are afflicted by God can heal you. Have a blessed day.
@@joeyvargas8818 i agree so much, jesus loves youuu❤️

I respect his wife for understanding, what a couple hats off
I would honestly have loved my husband to have walked in said that to me!
Some of us are just happiest with a baby in our arms 🤗
My Father was a police officer in Albuquerque, years ago. But I have a feeling that he was a monster. He was in our home……a monster. Good for this gentleman. He’s a hero and I applaud him.
My story exactly. My father was a Albuquerque Police Officer when I was born. But my dad was horrible and I have a feeling that he was fired. He passed about 5-6 years ago. Not one person has shed a tear, especially me, since his death. I still wish I could get the real story from APD about him.
Profound statement: " because I was the one hearing her."
This makes me want to be a better person...the person who hears is responsible.....
@@vidaapplebee5504, God YHWH bless and keep you.
I love the fact his wife was just like “Ok, let’s do it”
Thats a wife that has pure love to offer to her family
so pure.
Lol couple goals
Super excited! It was cute!
Perfect couple
“so why did a 27 year old cop-“
WHAT
27
WHAT
I know his so younge, good man.
He looks older than 27 I was taken aback when they said his age too...He looks at least 35. But also 4 kids by 27, he started young if the oldest was 4 he was 23 as a first time dad...you dont see many men now a days who are that young stick around let alone want even more that close together.
It's because he's balding.. if he shaved his head completely he would look 27
vianjelos he appears to be from a religious background. That’s probably a big factor
Yeah, he’s a very young man. It’s amazing that the wisdom and intelligence he has at this age is more than what people acquire in their lifetime. Great fella
Put in the right place at the right time, saving three lives.Absolutely beautiful.
I know most people will say we need more cops like this. But I say we need more humans to act like humans.
God Bless this officer. May this woman find herself and let this man's example be the fire that lights her up.
ashleywatson2007 Amen!!
she got help and is sober now! all she needed was support from people and got herself out of the horrible situation she was in. Shows just how much kindness can affect someones life.
This is what police should be. This is what a policeman's drive and personality should be. They do it to help. I wish they were all like this...
Agreed
@Jayla Ro yeah I know... I just would like the bad ones not to exist. Can you imagine that just last year police stopped me and wanted proof that my son in the stroller really was my son? You see... My son is mixed. They first wanted my and his ID. Ok. Why does he have a different family name?
Because he he has his father's family name, sir. Duh.
Then why does he not look like you at all and his name is foreign?
Ehm... The child is mixed, sir. Dad is African. Can't you see we both have Italian ID though?
Ok. So where is the dad?
At work. Sir. He is working.
Good. Do you have any family pictures on your phone where you are with the child and possibly his father.
I proceeded to show captain dumb all my family album. Included the pictures in the hospital with me giving birth. That one was the last. Yeah. Officer got a good shot of baby head coming right out of my vajayjay.
Captain dumb then got angry at me for showing him such graphic imagery during a control. I just answered I wanted to give concrete proof the child was mine and I was not trying to kidnap him and sell him to the Satanist church for sacrifices. (I was and fry at that point. Officers had been rude and did not allow me to pick up my son when he was crying so I kinda blew up and purposefully show him the picture of me birthing the child)
I got brought to the station and got a fine for "disrespecting the officer". I appealed that shit and ended up not having to pay anything because actually it was the officer who went too far with me, assuming I kidnapped my son and being rude about it. And then bringing me to the station for showing him a picture and making a snarky remark.
Still the officers face when he saw that picture is one of the funniest thing I have witnessed. He looked like he had just seen a ghost.
Actually most of them are like this but everyone is trying brianwash everyone into thinking every cop is bad
@@irenerandazzo4206 the fine once you proved it is out of order but honestly the checking if you're the mother or not shouldn't be seen as a negative, I'm a parent myself and if anything it makes me feel a little better for my sons safety knowing that police check things like that, sure it's frustrating if you're the parent but then to imagine someone did take your child and was caught because the police thought something was suspicious and looked into it, you would see them as a hero and your childs saviour, try to think about things objectively.
Jayla Ro Naw their not overshadowed by the bad ones.. it’s just what do you see in the world around you? Do you see the evil or do you see the good? It’s all just a choice really...
Geez that's a lot of children. I'd lose my mind. Big ups to them. They're stronger people than me.
I have 10! Half are grown now and I lost my mind years ago, but my husband lost his with me so I have wonderful company. I call it beautiful chaos
