@@berrymint6384 I'm wondering if you interpreted "needing to be sick" as the commenter you're responding to thinking this boy needed to have an illness or something. The person you're replying to meant the feeling of needing to vomit and not being able to would be horrible. "Being sick" is a phrase people use when discussing vomiting. For example, if someone says "I'm going to be sick", they mean they're going to vomit. If you already knew that, and you're saying nobody ever needs or wants to vomit, you're wrong. Vomiting is natural, nearly every mammal does it, and it's a defense mechanism that can remove toxins from the body. I was hospitalized with food poisoning one time and my doctor told me that sometimes the best solution was to just let my body purge everything. She did give me Zofran to help with nausea, which I took, but after a while I found that just getting it all up made me feel better a lot quicker than meds did. In this instance, this little boy absolutely needed to be sick, meaning he needed to be able to throw up. And the fact that the mom made sure he was never able to vomit speaks volumes about why vomiting is important. She knew that vomiting was his only way to rid his body if the poison she forced upon him every day.
I agree I actually think my 50 year old brother has been diagnosed by my mother and he has been on seizure meds his whole life for not reason! And once my mom is gone I’m taking my brother to the doctors and demanding tests to be done and make them prove he has seizures and needs the medications! I think parents for over 60 years have been diagnosing their kids at the doctors office and doctors want to make $$$$ off of prescription medications and Yep surgery that is not needed at all and the redness around that boys plug needed to be looked at and just that should have made them take the boy away from that mother and now he is dead!!!
Wtf is with all the doctor hate. The "mother" was poisoning that kid since he was 9 DAYS OLD. Wanting to imprison people for trying their best to heal a visibly ill child is just evil and solves nothing. Especially when they were given FALSE information by that child's guardian. Your misplaced anger makes you no better than that "mother".
A lot of doctors, especially in The U.S., will simply just do whatever procedures and prescribe the medications that makes them and the medical industry the most money. She also would doctor-shop and move to a different city every time that a medical professional started to get suspicious. How this was all discovered was because a doctor started getting suspicious.
It’s called a Nissan fundoplication. My child had to have it to save her life. The stomach contents were leaving the stomach and going into the lungs. The operation was to stop that. It was a last resort as it’s a big operation and she ended up on intensive care. Even now over twenty years later it still causes problems. I can’t believe a doctor would do that to a child who doesn’t need it. Dreadful the mother put her baby through that. My daughter can’t vomit and it’s horrendous when she’s poorly. Witnessing that is just the absolute worst.😢
Oh I just asked the same thing!! I don’t understand! That’s a natural mechanism that the body needs. That has to be illegal I have to look this up. I’ve never heard such a thing.

Munchausen Syndrome by proxy (MSBP) is such a brutal mental health illness… especially when medical professionals don’t catch it until the child has passed away. 💔
I don't believe that it was the case with gypsy rose blanchard. If you look into the case with her and her mom it was never officially diagnosed with dee dee ( gypsies mom) We only have gypsies word for it and her word and actions, especially since leaving prison leave a lot to be desired, so to speak. Looking back on her medical records it is understood that she did actually have real issues including the chromosome disorder. Dee dee was a con artist in the way that she used those real issues and played on them and embellished the situation to be much worse than it actually was for financial gain. It was never proven that dee dee actually did anything to hurt gypsy. Listen to ppl who worked closely with the family and are now putting out the truth along with gypsies actual medical records and you can see it for yourself. In her case it was a con and not child abuse or diagnosed MBP. Saying that MBP is unfortunately a real thing and many children sadly suffer.

Not to mention that she had an entire investigation opened on her own Father after she made false accusations that he had been SA’ing her, and it had resulted in her getting pregnant with Garnett. There were a lot of people who witnessed firsthand the type of Mother she actually was, and they all chose to simply turn a blind Eye to it
Doctors rely on the parent to be eyes and ears. Communication with parents is essential. But that surgery to remove ability to vomit was beyond wrong. They knew better and did it anyway, which is deeply troubling. Whoever signed off on THAT SPECIFIC surgery sealed that baby’s fate. It was a matter of WHEN, not if. It’s normal to listen to parents. It’s NOT normal to close an otherwise typical child’s esophagus for reported colic, reflux, celiac, or anything else and then leave it that way for years.
Um, I've had two times an er doctor overlooked symptoms with my child and I had to point it out to them. They were ready with their "it's just a virus" speech to send us home. One was purpura rash indicating a serious autoimmune reaction, the other was severe dehydration requiring iv fluids. My children could have died if I didn't speak up. To their credit, both doctors listened.
Doctors have to rely on parents to tell them symptoms and family history that the child can't tell them. They have no choice but listen to the adult in charge of the child. This kid wouldn't have even realized his mother was making him sick because that's all he knew his whole life. He thought this was just how life works. So sad and absolutely horrible.
My cousin did something similar to her child. Theyd been at the hospital almost every 2 days of his life. I called CPS when she claimed he couldnt pee but they put in a catheter but he was so dehydrated there was none. Idk why the hospital didnt call before me. She had the baby until he was about 3. CPS finally took the baby after my aunt had found him left alone in a cart at the local walmart. She took him and my cousin didnt notice for about 30 minutes. Hes doing much better now.

As someone with a rather rare digestive disorder that took years to diagnose… I have never once heard in my life of closing the throat to prevent vomiting. Even muzzles made for dogs are only legal if the muzzle is wide enough to allow the dog to vomit if necessary. Birds that don’t have that natural ability don’t have good things happen to them. I genuinely **could not** eat for a couple years and survived on liquids and high dose anti-nausea medications that put me to sleep. My body was totally emaciated. Never once, even in my own research during that time trying to diagnose myself, have I ever seen this operation even suggested.

No, Worse....go through what that poor kid went through...every bit of it.😢
I agree I actually think my 50 year old brother has been diagnosed by my mother and he has been on seizure meds his whole life for not reason!
This is exactly like the mothers who say their children are a different sex.
These are gastro diseases so it is difficult to pin down a cause especially when drs believe the parent wants the best for their child.
What doctor would perform an operation to prevent someone from vomiting? It's a critical part of the body's defense mechanism.
Sick cow
It’s called a Nissan fundoplication. My child had to have it to save her life. The stomach contents were leaving the stomach and going into the lungs. The operation was to stop that. It was a last resort as it’s a big operation and she ended up on intensive care. Even now over twenty years later it still causes problems. I can’t believe a doctor would do that to a child who doesn’t need it. Dreadful the mother put her baby through that. My daughter can’t vomit and it’s horrendous when she’s poorly. Dee dee was a con artist in the way that she used those real issues and played on them and embellished the situation to be much worse than it actually was for financial gain.

Why do doctors even listen to parents who try to diagnose their child with or without a medical background
Some times people know more than doctors here in us..The internet giving much more info then doctors may hold in they heads..
Correction: why do they listen to white Karen’s diagnosing their babies cause is black women can barely get them to believe us!

They don't actually close the throat. It's called a Nissen fundoplication. They tie the stomach to the esophagus. It's a valid treatment for severe cases of reflux.
@@lisaabroad1192yeah because if they closed his throat he could’ve breath
That 2nd case has my blood boiling early this morning ! Am pissed
Both stories were sick and tragic 😥
The mum looks…. Odd. Sometimes you can judge a book by its cover.
She looks like a teenaged boy.
She gives me the ick!
@@SB-se7vbyes I new something was offff😂
No, you can't. ...Never.
@@yankee2666 you’re very naive to use the word “never” but I admire your naivety.
What a disgusting excuse of a mother, poor little man never had a chance with as his mother.
Actually a lot of kids have lousy moms and even dads and grow up to be outstanding citizens some super successful as well!
This case is soo frustrating!! Thank God for that honest cop who came forward ❤ I would sue the SHIT out of that entire force too.
rest in peace Brandon🥺 his parents statements tore my heart out
You got to be a sick, sick person to murder your child. #heartbreaking
Thanks for your contribution Captain Obvious.
Garnetts's throat "fixing" doctor should also be in jail.
Officer Henry who came forward and said the other officer was wrong, I’m so glad there’s still good troopers. I hope Piercy goes to jail! The cover up needs investigated people need to lose their jobs!
Some people just don't deserve to be a mother. A monster
parent
This is so upsetting, 😞 I pray this family has all the love & support they need.
This is heartbreaking. Please accept my condolences! I feel your pain, and thank you for speaking out❤❤❤❤❤❤
My son was diagnosed with cancer at age 5. Why anyone would want to purposefully have a sick child for attention, is mind blowing to me. What I would give to not have to spend a single minute more in a hospital ward. Stories like this are incomprehensible to me. I will never understand how any parent would choose to be in my shoes, it’s the hardest thing in the world, to watch your child and other peoples children, suffer the pain of being terminally ill. There are so many that would have loved that beautiful little boy, he looks like he was a bundle of joy 💔 RIP little man.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Hope you find some peace in the near future.
You are not insane.
RIP Garnet, this was pure medical negligence, how on earth did Drs carry out ops on this poor baby boy…lm a midwife and have seen failure to thrive and in the photo with the nasogastric tube he looked a healthy baby. Taking the baby to the hospital repeatedly and the hospital finding no problems should have been a major red flag. I know she moved around to avoid detection but they could have got his previous medical note’s. This lady is mentally I’ll but staff should always have Mauchausen by proxy in mind following repeated hospital visits with children.
Money for procedures done.
I'm amazed a doctor operated on him when he was only 9 months old, so that he couldn't swallow. That doctor should also be charged with negligence.
The problem in the USA is few medical systems have databases that are statewide, let alone nationwide.
@@shirleystein6521 it wasnt so he couldnt swallow it was the t opposite....so he couldnt throw anything bad up
Amen
Getting a promotion based on the number of people you take into custody is a TERRIBLE incentive that WILL be abused by people with ill intent. They don't care if you're guilty or innocent, it's just a tally for them that looks good on paper.
I really hope that's not how promotions actually work for State Troopers.
They ought for vain glory not real lovers of justice. These type of jobs are magnets for people to abuse their badge.
It is. And unfortunately it is 😢
Not the dad posting online. He should also be arrested, where was he? She is obviously one sick monster but if the dad was present the baby would not have died 😢
OMG who on earth would do such a medical procedure on a child ???? They need to lose their medical license and be sent to prison for life! Plus, this pathetic mother life in prison! Absolutely disgusting. RIP dear sweet little sunshine of light.
Exactly what I just said to myself😢
Unfortunately this is really common in Munchausen by proxy cases. When Gypsy Rose was very young she had several unnecessary surgical procedures she didn't need & a feeding tube. It's very common for mothers with Munchausen to get their child a feeding tube because they can control everything going into their body & it's easier for them to drug them.
Special place in heaven for this poor 5 year old. A SPECIAL place in hell for this evil woman who killed her innocent son.
Cop murdered that kid
Everyone failed this child. Especially his mother.
It is so beyond heartbreaking when medical professionals don’t realize that the mother has Munchausen Syndrome by proxy until after the child is dead. 💔
Because she moves around and then starts over. No one thinks right off that it’s the mother’s fault.
So the ‘heartbreak’ is from the professionals not immediately casting aspersions and not from the mom actually killing the child? Okay…
@@KahlessTheUnforgettable
Calm down, smart alec!
It’s obviously from both.
@@KahlessTheUnforgettable She did not say all of that. She said the first half of what you said. Doesn't mean that she doesn't think that the whole damn thing is heartbreaking. Munchausen's by Proxy has been around for a long, long time. Before the internet. But, damn, the internet just adds to the "desirability" of attention-seeking mental illness. I think that it should be a part of all healthcare professionals' training. Also, anyone with multiple accounts about their child's illness and blogs should be scrutinized. Obvious attention-seeking behavior.
No, what's beyond heartbreaking is this woman killing this kid for kicks! It's no one's fault but her own.
No one should be handcuffed in a boat
"But the thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies"-Lawkeeper Equity Mlp Ace Attorney EOJ
Kind of the definition of betrayaI IoI
Well well well if it isn't my sworn enemy betraying me, you stabbed me in the back, only you directly told me you would stab me in the face one day and then stabbed me in the face, you think you know a guy...
That woman, the mother who does not deserve that term, is the devil incarnate. Not mental illness, but evil to the core. Please let her rot in jail.
The story about the young man killed by the trooper is just heartbreaking. Poor parents. So tragic
When my little brother was shot in the face and murdered in January, they left him out on the pavement for over 12 hours in the rain…it’s not a good feeling…
❤😥🙏
OMG I I am so sorry you had to see the and dignity your brother suffered. When you see cruelty like that you can never unsee it. I am so sorry for your suffering. I pray God’s love will carry you through. Amen
Ty, I miss him everyday!
what is the world coming to? I am so sorry that happened to your brother and you... being the survivor is really hard.
Just learned today that he was denied bond! My little bro broke his jaw before he was shot defending himself, his killer has sat in jail for almost a half year now with a STILL broken jaw! I know I shouldn’t be happy about that type of stuff but he’s getting what he deserves…they can’t even keep him in prison around here because so many people want him dead now as well.
The cop murdered him. He could have jumped in to save him, horrible. I cannot believe this.
That 'cop' was too fat to save anyone. He had targeted these boys from when he first saw them. I'm from MO, and there is way too much corruption. 🤮
He shouldn't have been charged with involuntary manslaughter because he chose NOT to jump in immediately when he saw Brandon drowning. It was murder.
The person who did that operation to stop him from throwing up or his body functioning properly, deserves to lose their medical license and be in jail for many years.
Many many tests should have been done before anyone even considered doing those medical procedures, all absolutely disgusting for basically encouraging her behaviour.
My heart is broken for this family. I lost my son to the negligence of a drunk driver, who killed him and left the scene. He was never found.
😢😢😢
Thoughts and prayers
That cop makes me so beyond mad. He is sick. Excpesially the comment he made like wtf!! Just evil. Hes supposed to protect and serve he didn't try to protect him at all just watched him dround.... So sad.
Poor baby boy
if you suspect poisoning there needs to be a law. NO VISITATION by ANYONE
how did she only get 20 years after 5 years of torture to her own kid? and not only did the cop not do jail time he got his job back to be a cop!
She received 20 years to life ,not twenty years.. She would have to go before a parole board and be reviewed and released by them. Doubt they will let her out since she has never admitted guilt and blamed the people at that place she was staying at.
THAT trooper saying what he said after knowing that boy was on the bottom of the river is nasty. JUST EVIL that call and all of those officers and receiver should have been placed on leave. I appreciate the trooper who told the truth and thank you for the prosecutor for pressing charges because it was evil. For his father to have to hear them talk like that in court while his son was on the bottom of the river is heartbreaking.
How could you do this to an innocent child!? No child deserves this.
38:49 That cop and mom of that boy should be in prison for life no less, that cop was stupid for not putting on life jacket the way it should be ,if that parent done a kid like that be in prison for murder ,it was nothing but murder, that cop should be charged
