The Lucaya feels right now, I just can't
I really do appreciate how both sides are balanced. Some videos like this has an obvious favoring but you showed all the flaws and strengths for both ships. This is extremely beautiful wow didn't think you could top the last one.
SIDENOTE: This video isn't about a specific ship, it's about the love triangle between Lucaya/Rucas and the development of both relationships.
I used the same clips at the start of every chorus just to show you that Lucas could've looked at Riley, Maya, or even at both of them. Like Lucas said himself: he has different feelings for both of them and he doesn't understand why.

I always thought Rucas was cute. But, for me, Lucaya is way more real. They have a great banter, a great friendship and just imagine their relationship if they actually get together. I mean, Rucas is cute and all, but it just seems like a middle school thing and not a relationship for the long run, but that's just the way I see it.Lucaya had so much growth during S2 and I really do believe that they could be endgame, especially, because we shouldn't forget Farkle. He might be together with Smackle now, but he's a part of the story, too. ;)I really do love your video, (I loved the last one, too.) the song is so beautiful and you captured both ships pretty wonderful. +xxghost of youxx They have great banter and that's all they have. When they went on their date they had nothing to talk about, so imagine when the banter gets boring they'll have nothing there.. Whereas rucas are really good at talking to each other, always there for each other, they have banter (maybe not as GREAT as Lucaya but they do). Not trying to change who you' ship and i'm not hating on your opinion. I just wanted to say x
+lucy petrova He didn't kiss her, he wanted to, but it wasn't the right time, remember she hadn't confirmed her feelings toward him at that point. She doesn't not annoy him, she jokes around with him and calls him names, but he enjoys it, he has used those nicknames to identify himself with and when Maya jumped on his back it wasn't for a joke it was to stop him from hurting someone and doing something he would regret. She has his best interests at heart and he does her (I want Maya to be happy). Speaking of that comment, were we watching the same episode? Because that is basically all Lucas does in that episode is fight for the arts which is one of the things that would make Maya happy. Now happiness is a long term thing, Maya doesn't just get the art program and is forever happy, but the fact that Lucas fights for Maya happiness, and wants her to be happy is so important. Also if you are talking about trying with Rucas, the example you gave about fight the bully, he didn't try to fight Riley's bully, he offered, but he didn't fight her, which is probably a good thing. But if you are going to give an example of Lucas trying for Riley at least give an example where he actually tries. I highly doubt Rucas as endgame, I don't know if Lucaya will be endgame either, but I have a feeling they are a lot closer then Rucas are to it.
+Michelle Kristin How do you know he wanted to? There's been nothing to prove that he wanted to, don't try and say "you can tell". Rucas may not be endgame (neither lucaya), however this love story is about riley and lucas. This show is called "girl meets world" they're not gonna have maya end up with the guy RILEY likes since it's riley's show.
+especiallyrucas I didn't want to say anything, but Michael J even said himself that this show is about these TWO girls and their friendship.. Also, we shouldn't forget Farkle. I know he has Smackle right now. But that can change. And about the campfire scene: Even though he said he only did what he did because he wanted her to stop, he could've just ran away or something, but no. He grabbed her face and almost kissed her. I don't want and I don't like ship wars and I just wanted to talk about the 'riley's show thing' she's the main character, yes, but Maya's the Co-lead and as important as Riley. And somehow everyone seems to ignore Farkle in all of this.. I have nothing against your ship and/or your opinion, really. I just felt like saying something, I really hope you don't mind that because I think ship wars are useless and everyone can ship what they want to ship :)

This video was so beautiful it made me tear up. I really hope it ends up being Riley and Lucas because as great as the love/hate banter Maya and Lucas have going on, you can't really have a relationship based on just teasing you need so much more and I feel like Riley and Lucas have that. I just don't want anyone to get hurt!
"I want Maya to be happy" "Well he's looking at you now" "How are you fine? You don't look fine" "The blonde beauty" "If you got hurt, I wouldn't know what I would've done" "We're not friends" "Of course I know your name, I like us all very much" "It's one minute to midnight, and i'm glad you're standing here" . The way they look at each other, how they stop each other from attacking people, how Maya cared more about his safety than his reputation, he literally helped her learn to pray, how he cared so much for her art class, she loves both sides of him and told Riley to calm down and hear both sides of his story before freaking out, she shared her ''corpanga moment'' with him, how scared she was when she saw the bull. so, it's not just based on teasing.
+ayesh yay I understand your perspective completely and I respect your opinion but all of those things you mentioned are things a friend would do for a friend(in my opinion). They're relationship is literally my relationship with my best guy friend who I love like a brother. Started with teasing and name calling and now he's one of my favorite people. But again that's my own personal experience.I'm not saying they don't have feelings for each other, I'm sure they do or else this wouldn't be so confused. I just don't think those feelings are romantic. I just don't see them the way I see Riley and Lucas.
It's your opinion what you think of them and their relationship, but i'm just pointing out that it's not just teasing.

I love how impartial this is! I am honestly not even that invested in a particular ship as much as I am in their friendships so I hope they can all resolve this and move past it without losing each other. Amazing video :)

I am a hardcore Lucaya shipper and I hear so many reasons why they are endgame and most of the reasons aren't true, most of the reasons are just things that the actors do and they have nothing to do with the actual storyline. Still NOBODY NOT EVEN RUCAS SHIPPERS can deny the actual four shadowing of Lucaya actually happening. The writers said to look closely at the first episode and it showed that Lucaya is endgame.

I hope Lucas x Maya makes a reappearance in season 4, if season 4 is really happening. I don't care in what way. Flashback, reference, you name it. A lot of people, like myself, had a lot riding on that ship. Who doesn't love a love story with people who are so different? Although... it would be nice to see some Zaya. Anyone else notice Zay's friendliness towards Maya in S3? To be honest, I'd be just fine with Lucaya, Zaya, or Joshaya. I think they all have chemistry. But, I guess I just have to live with the fact that Joshaya and rilcas is end game, that is until season 4 is confirmed.

Girl meets world, girl meets world: When riley fell into Lucus's lap his on the subway he instantly had feelings for riley.
Girl meets boy: Lucus opened up to riley.
Girl meets friendship: lucus had called riley that he she was a princess to him and even brought out a white Horse and they road off together.
Girl meets first date: lucus asked riley to go their first date with him. Hell he even asked for riley's dad for approval. And he kissed riley back when she kissed him.
Girl meets secret of life: when riley was mad at him...je did everything he could fix it. He even told riley that liking him was worth it.
Girl meets Texas part 2: lucus looked torn when riley told him that she felt that they were jst brother and sister.
Girl meet Texas part 3: When Riley told lucus that maya liked him he turned riley and was like what are we...like he still he likes her.
Girl meets rileytown: lucus broke out of his chain or whatever for riley when he found out that she was being bullied. He even wanted to get even with the person who was bullying her. He still cares even after the girl meets Texas incident with maya.
Girl meets the new year: he was jealous about Charlie knowing everything about riley.
Girl meets the bay window: WHO DID HE SIT NEXT TO THE WHOLE TIME RILEY!!!
Girl meets legacy: anytime he was serious he always looked at riley.
You see lucus went the extra mile for riley...okay yeah he help may with the whole girl meets creativity thing and that whole campfire scene, but that doesn't mean he likes maya more then riley.

When he did figure out about Maya he was clearly thinking about getting dumped. Also he initiated the almost kiss even leaned in (sensibility) but stopped thinking about what would happen (sense).
For Rileytown its was towels and wood counters not chains. But of course he went all Texas Lucas he did it for Farkle too [when Maya stopped him from fighting. (sense)]. He did it out of friendship and hasn't had to do it for Maya considering she can handle herself.

One thing no Lucaya shipper can deny Rucas still exists in Lucas. No Shit he still likes Riley, But its different He likes Maya too. At the start not as much as Riley, But now its debateable.

I think this video is absolutely beautiful! You did a great job at being unbiased :) can I just point out something? I hate to sound rude... and I don't mean to offend you in any way but it's like a pet peeve for almost every Lucaya shipper when they're termed "love/hate" because this is so far from the truth. There is no dislike/hate in their relationship at all and it kills me that there are some people who still don't understand that Maya's fun banter was a facade . Anyway, I hope I didn't come across as rude because I really didn't want to! Great video, though!

Second, I know it's not necessarily a love/hate thing, but it's always the first thing that comes up to me when I think about them. Obviously their relationship is just more kind of playful than Rucas', and their banter was indeed just a facade. This actually reminds me of the one tree hill live triangle. Riley would be Brooke, peppy, happy and a little jealous of Maya. She is jealous because it is undeniable that Lucas has feelings for Maya. Just like Lucas had frelings for Peyton. So Maya would be Peyton, deep, sassy and trying to hold back her feelings for Riley. Just like Peyton did for Brooke.

+ayesh yay Yes. I wanted to put it in at the end where Lucas tells the girls he still likes them both, but it didn't really work. Two reasons for that: the clip where the girls told him about the campfire and the subway had really loud background music which would ruin the feeling of the video (in my opinion). And there wasn't really space for that bit in the rest of the video, next to that I think it'd only have fit in perfectly at the end but as I said that didn't work out either haha.
