    Sorry, but have to disagree about the AI style not changing between difficulties. For example, medium AI seems way more focused on using armored vehicles (whenever they are appropriate choice or not) at the expense of infantry than hard AI.

    The AI in this game improved quite a lot since when the game first got released. Me and my friend only play AI games against veryhard and hardest (got like 1500 Hours only AI games). And we enjoy it a lot. Its super different then PvP, like how you play and build your deck. Like i tryed some PvP games and im totaly garbage at it, since its so different then how i play against AI. Anyways the AI is quite smart, it even uses smoke play to smoke off spots. Or it builds up a group of units to push with. Ye the AI gets more points and double the units depending on diffeculty, and yes it spams quite a lot becouse of it. But it isnt as dumb as you think it is. Can use some really intresting plays. To be real honest the AI even learned me some really good wel placed spots for tanks/AT gun on sertain map that i had no clue would be a good spot to place these units. The AI also knows where the priority units are and where your units are strongest/weakest on the front line. Ye maby it cheats a little, but thats part of the challange too. In the end i personally enjoy AI games a lot in SD2, and thats the most important part!

    • @foxmarco4639
      @foxmarco4639 10 месяцев назад +2

      @@geraldleuven169 Yes i have in 1v1. Id say most important is to have AT planes in A phase, pref clusters. Get enough infantry card in A phase as well, decent quality for quite cheap price. Also important to have 2k AT or HE. Or at least 1750M AT. AI likes to do a tank rush in de ployment, so long range AT and AT/cluster plane will be super usefull. If AI deck has cluster planes always make sure to get AA out in deployment. AI loves AT cluster rush. For your infantry its good to have lots of them in A, becouse they will die, they need to be a meat shield. So having cheap infantry is good. However they also need to be of some quality, they need to be able to kill as well. Becouse as i mentioned AI is quite spammy. Or use mix of cheap and good quality infantry. Maby these kind of stuff also works in PvP but i cant speak much for PvP since rarely play it. But with AI its important to survive the first deployment push. Then build layer of defense, since the AI can randomly come with a super strong attack out of no where.

      @@foxmarco4639 Thanks so much for the detailed explanation. Will try your advice in future games. Usually I try out my micro and deck against self made decks in hard. • @notbotheredable
    @notbotheredable 10 месяцев назад +15

    Beating the AI is fairly easy if you know how it plays.
    It struggles against heavy armour, as it is to dumb to flank it etc, but instead just spasms armour at it. One Panther can kill about 1 bajiliion Shermans from the front at range.
    It drives tanks into AT ambushes all the time.
    It generally struggles against airpower.
    It is really good at infantry spam waves and arty.
    I usually use the AI as a way to test my deck builds. It is a good way to check I have balanced my phases and capabilities correctly.

    I do want to point out, if it hasn't been said already, there is one crucial way Hardest AI is different: you can't actually crit the vehicles. You'll notice on this playthrough, you'll get Driver Killed on one of the tanks, as soon as you pan back to that tank, its already on the move. I've personally noticed that the AI will clear vehicle criticals within 2-3 seconds upon receiving. Definitely makes for more relentless tank rushes
