Thanks for the great instructional video, I was able to line my hooded cowl beautifully! I was SO worried but it was easy with your instruction
Super clear instructions - so easy - took me a few minutes to cut out, insert in the hat and another few minutes to sew. Love it…

Great help. Thanks.
This is just what I was looking for! Thank you so much! Very clear instructions!
Thank you for this
This is very helpful. I do crochet baby hats and I feel they need something soft in them and, of course, it looks pretty.
Nice video! It made me thinking of my mother who made jackets, shoes , snow pants for me when I was young!
Great idea I love it. I’m gonna try it on my adult hats. Thanks for sharing! 😊
Thanks so much for this tutorial. My grandsons are moving from Mississippi to Alaska in February and I will be making them new hats with fleece lining now!
This is such a great tutorial, thanks!! I love crocheting hats and have wanted to learn how to insert a fleece lining forever. I’m not great with sewing machines so learning how to do it by hand like this is so, so nice! I will definitely utilize this method when doing my Christmas hats this year!
OMG, Very creative... I will be adding some Fleece Fabric to my Houndstooth knitted Beanie.
Sounds great!
What a greate teacher You are ♥️
If you do the herringbone sewing stitch I find that is good & strong with plenty of stretch
Thank you. You made the process easier than I had imagined.
Do you need to build some stretch into the hand-sewn seam connecting the liner to the hat? Excellent video!
SPEECHLESS….🤩🤩
This is EXACTLY what I needed. So thankful for your video. 😊
Thank you so much for this video, you explain everything so clearly!! I can't wait to put your instructions into use!! Thanks again!!!
Thank you for the video. With the cold weather coming I was going to try and do this but wasn't sure where to start. This video makes the process much easier and less complicated then I thought it'll be.
Love this! exactly what I needed!
Such a beautiful hat! Thank you so much for the tutorial, I’ve been struggling to figure out how to attach the lining to my first hat :)
You did a beautiful job! It looks so pretty and warm.
Thank you!
Beautifully done. Thank you.
This is wonderful, Thank you
I've done an extra stitch at the top of the hat, so that the fabric will stay at place in the hat.
Great tutorial, love those pins
Thank you so much! This was just what I was looking for. Thank you for making such clear instructions. I'm excited to put the first lining into one of my hats!
Thanks very good video keep us warms
Beautiful! Thanks for the video ❤️
Great video and very instructive. Thank you!
Looks beautiful. Like this method vs inserting stitching and pulling through a small opening. Tkd
Thank you for this 😊!
Thank you! Excellent result!
Thank you ... it’s wonderful.
That looks great.

This is helpful. Thank you
thank you for this!
thank you for this idea. I am going to try it.
I love your crochet hat with the ear flap, do you have a pattern for it.
Was coming here to ask the same thing. A link to the pattern, for the hat, in the description box, would be helpful. Love ❤ the hat.
Thank you for teaching this my ? this can be done without changing the size of the hat
I appreciate your answer 👍
Hola Rosamaria, si lavas la tela antes de cortarla, nó se encoge el gorro al lavarlo despues.
Thank you ❤❤
Do you need to "size up" the hat when crocheting it to accommodate the fleece lining ??
Thank you so much for sharing this...I've been hesitant to crochet hats because I didn't know how to line them with fleece so this video just gave me the push to do them. Quick question: what type of thread did you use?
Hi! I use all purpose thread....just regular thread!
Chris
where do you get pins that go through the polar fleece please...
Thank you for idea
Would this work for a hat that has ribbing. I would not want it to show when you fold up the ribbing so would I cut the lining to end at where the ribbing would start?
Can you fold the fleece and then cut it so you don't have to glue the separate pieces? Also, flipping the hat inside out is easier to sew it.
Sounds sensible to me. Fold the fleece on the selvedge and then just cut three sides - means you only have the one to sew/glue.
Can you sew the hem with a sewing machine?
Can you please tell me how to do so the size of the bannie doesn’t get smaller when we add the fleece? Because each time i add the fleece the size shrinks 😔😞
Suma Saßu I believe she said to be sure the stretchy-est part of the fleece goes from side to side which would give it more give
I had the same problem...read somewhere to make sure and prewash hat & fleece to avoid shrinkage. Hope this helps
You have to pre-wash the fleece before cutting so it won't shrink once you wash the hat.
where is the pattern for the hat , i would love to have it ..thanks
try her blog or pinterest
I was not able to find the Patten on the blog.
I tried this with flannel but flannel is not stretchy;(
What if is granny square hat how to put fabric in it
So I’m using my fiancé’s youtube page to watch and comment, would fleece be attached the same way to crocheted ear warmers??
Yes, you would use the ear warmer to measure how large a piece of fleece to cut. You will have to make two seams on each side of the fleece. Then insert the fleece into the ear warmer and pin,and then hand sew it on the top and bottom. Good luck!!
Thank you!
