Hey, thanks for the Link, I have a slightly older version that has the Track IR head movements skewed and I haven't really flown the Grippen since. Looks like they got it corrected. BTW, you should look at the SU-30SM mod too. That's another of my personal favorites, along with the grippen.
I’ll have to check out the SU-30… there are so many mod in DCS I haven’t heard or seen
@DTMCRAZYGAMING fair enough, lol.
The SU-30SM mod definitely brings multi-role capabilities to the Flanker. You get a TGP as well as some Laser guided and fire and forget munitions. Definitely allows you to use the SU-30 for SEAD/DEAD now.
My only real gripe is that any of the smart missles or bombs are heavily limited by the TGP which uses the SU-25T's TGP, unmodified. So, even though you have access to a missed that has a 130nm range, you're limited by when the TGP can target. There's also no GPS targeting either. Bit, these are limits from the FC3 system. A2A is pretty awesome though and the Cannon firing is pure ecstasy, lol.

The ugly duckling of the Delta wing trio (Typhoon, Rafale and Gripen and as a Brit i have to give it to the French, the Rafale is probably the best looking plane in the skies) however the Gripen is a sweet plane, I hope one day we get official versions of each in DCS (ideally made by heat blur or Razbam)

Restart the mod once then you can use the custom RWR instead of the FC3 F15C RWR on the center screen. Would be fixed in coming patch.
It might work with f-15 , and not the whole fc3, but not sure here .
Okay I would still get the FC3 dlc for the amount of stuff you get.
I guess I'm spoiled because I can't deal with the lack of textures, I guess I'll wait for further development. I do want this as full or high fidelity module.

How did you get that Hmd looking thing on the BVR variant Gripen?
They don’t have one module that has all the features. One has the BVR setup like the F-15C. And another like the MiG.
@@DTMCRAZYGAMING I get that, and you're using the BVR one, yet somehow there is still some circle that follows your view when you look away. How did you do that?

@@Bnmunfortunate oh right that circle. Back then you can press the same button for the HMD on the MiG and get this circle.(note this is the F15C BVR I’m flying at the time), but it didn’t do anything… just for looks.

HAHAHA I probably did. I've probably gotten taken out by all different enemy targets for the amount of time I've bin flying the Gripen.

Lovely plane but i cant drop LGB or TV guides bombs anymore.. they simply dont drop.. normal bombs and brimstone missiles do work normally tough.. the launch override option is missing from controls
Sadly there are a lot of bugs for many of the weapons… there next big update won’t come out for another year but I’m sure it will fix a lot of these problems

How do you turn on the hemmet HUD?
The helmet hud is only in the WVR version. It’s something they hope to have in all the versions later down the road
why buy an F-35A 5th gen fighter jet for 70m when you can buy an Gripen for 80m

For the ability to operate of improvised airfields with a minimum of equipment and service personnel as a defending nation having had most of their large airfields destroyed.
The F35 and the Gripen are entirely different tools for entirely different situations.
The F35 is there for the world's largest superpower with access to (multiple) aircraft carriers and well protected airfields in other areas of the world, to project power.
The Gripen is designed to defend Sweden against a Russian invasion.
@@somefuckstolemynick yeah but the F-35A is more capable as far as i know. Most country's have more than enough airfields
@@fon-tijn more capable as what? Sure it's the better aircraft, definitely, but it would work poorly for Sweden in a defense situation (for the reasons I outlined above). The whole situation changes now with NATO of course.

@@DTMCRAZYGAMING External Flight Model - a .dll in the /bin folder of the mod that is responsible for the flight dynamics (among other things)
And if there is no such folder, then the mod uses SFM - Standard Flight Model (although many prefer to think the S stands for "simplified" - and that is wholly justified)
@@getsideways7257 gotcha I try to you but most of the time the files are corrupted. So I fly a mission, but when I watch the footage, it shows my aircraft flying into a mountain.
@@DTMCRAZYGAMING Sorry, not quite sure I got you. I guess you are talking about the typical DCS problem of broken replays - that sadly happens more often than I'd prefer. It's because DCS does not record the trajectories, but rather the commands issued by the pilot - so, if something in the replay conditions changes for some reason (possibly due to the rig not being able to compute everything in real time), from that point the replay starts to diverge from what was really happening. There is also a possibility that the AI could be acting slightly differently due to a bug.
As for the corrupt files, I'm not quite sure what you mean. If the downloaded files are corrupt, you can't really successfully extract them from the archive.
