I see S-Foils in attack position, accurate systems modeling, always the forte of DCS
Now imagine having to do this with jets and fighting against the Empire and their tie fighters and star destroyers. I can imagine a back story where the Empire has decided to invade Earth and you are an USAF pilot and have to help out the Rebel Alliance cripple and have the Empire retreat back into deep space.
The movie “Independence Day” comes to mind

I'm not gonna lie I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to DCS so I avoided clicking on this video for about a day but it wouldn't leave me recommendations so I'm watching it and I'm glad I am. This looks so fun!

Just a suggestion to the mod maker: I think the S-Foils of the X-Wing should open up when you turn on the Master Arm instead of based on your acceleration.
Oh that’s a good one… but I’m not sure if the FC3 dlc has a master arm for any of the aircraft’s.
Hi modmaker here, it would be easy to do in theory. My only problem currently is that i have inherited this mod by another modder and he hasnt given me the original files yet which would be needed. One day I might replace the whole model to achieve that.

@@bbqchezit You can create some new weapons easily. The problem is usually AI, they cannot deal with flying AG targets. Player controlled it´s possible.
Is there a coordinating script (a la Skynet IADS) or triggers that could be used for the AI... I think honestly the main hurtle would be the assets (in the movie they just have plasma 'cannons'). I think if there's human v human there should be some sort of guided weapon for the aliens, just so it's not as one sided. Lmk if ya need a pilot

Waited years for someone to update this brilliant mod. Just a note the ground units can not be driven in player mode. You can still use the weapons. If is is possible would you be able to fix this? A***** very appreciative of your hard work

do the ships have shields? seems a little weird that the ISD died that easily
I don’t believe so. I really never missed too much with the mod but if every wild wing hit their target then that 32x 2000lbs GBU bombs that hit the star destroyer
How are you able to fly the SW ships? I have FC3 installed, but when i choose player in the mission editor, i have no control over the ship.
Silly questions but have you keybind all your settings to that specific aircraft?
@DTMCRAZYGAMING the issue is when the created mission starts, the computer is flying the plane
@@timdillon3344 hmm you're the only one I have ever heard have an issue with the mission. I would check it out on the mission editor to make sure the "PLAYER" is either in client or player
Player option or client don't work. The computer is still in control
@@timdillon3344 if you don’t have the option to change it to player or client. Then the file you download it for the mod may be corrupted as you may have to reinstall it.
