Dude all I can say was wow. I’m not an LS guy but your builds and attention builds locked me in. I’m a cobra guy so he’ll yea I’m living vicariously through you in this project. Big ups and thanks for the content.
Nice find man. I just picked up a procharged 99 cobra in NH. Same thing.. old man car. Every receipt and invoice all the way back to the original bill of sale when the car was sold off the lot. All in a big binder. Should be fun. Excited to see how yours turns out I saw it on IG too.
@@ChrisSullivan69 it’s black. Almost identical but black interior and cobra R wheels. It was only up for sale for a short period of time and the guy that had it hardly drove it he couldn’t crawl into it anymore. It was up in Bristol NH. It looks like it just rolled off the show room floor I’m amazed how clean it is. Should be a fun platform to dive into. I was hoping you’d keep this one so I could get some ideas! Haha
It did show the 00 r in there also right after you said it didn't I saw you skim by a page that had the 00 r on it. That is cool the svt stuff they gave you with the car looks very similar to the stuff I got with my 2016 fiesta st when I got it brand new. It was made by Ford performance (svt and Europe's team rs combined after 2015 to make today's Ford performance) which like I said is the same as svt was and they do similar stuff. Always loves the svt/Ford performance stuff. The unique manual you get tells all about the power train, brakes, suspension, wheels, trans, gearing etc. Very cool. Also tells about maintenence stuff when and if it differs from standard mustangs. I like that stuff too. Still have the special manual that came with my 97 cobra and 03 svt focus and now I have my 16 fiesta st and 2007 gt500 which was also made by svt. They have the same special stuff with them. Always loved these cars. They were all about real performance and tasteful styling not over the top stuff styling was nice but subtle and it truly is a limited car and svt did a good job of making it feel special without going overboard. They're subtle and the average person may not realize how much different they are but enthusiast notice all the subtle differences. Very cool cars.
Pretty cool machine man. Just went and test drove a 99 stock with borla exhaust. Used to drive a V6 mustang but that wasn't a mustang. These cars were built to do things little tommy wouldn't. I'm hoping I get it. Would be a light up for me and motivation to keep pushing. Love the content very underated.
Very good job. Who taught you your craft Chris? You learned well. Very impressive!! Ty for posting this. Sure would love for you to coyote swap my 03 mustang gt. God bless you brother!
Nice job on the bumper!I had the same year and color 99 cobra..It had alluminator LB and a kenne bell non intercooled 8psi but it was fun..What size compressor did you paint with??60 gal?80 gal?
I was looking at this car on Craigslist to flip..The guy never contacted me..You would be hard pressed to find a ding or dent…lol..Nice car…I may have a buyer let me know when it’s up for sale…
@@ChrisSullivan69 oh man…Can you announce on here when your selling these cars…Because I’m in your area and wouldn’t mind doing business if it helps each other out…
Same exact spec as mine, interior, color and exact same mileage. mine just turned 78k miles but paint is not that decent. I have some videos on it on my page!
Hello everyone, im about to buy a new car and I was wondering which Mustang should i buy? My two options are a 2004 Mustang SVT Cobra or a 1965-1968 Mustang. Hope anyone answer:D
The 01 bumper looks fine it's also a desirable front bumper. Lots of gt and Mach guys go with that bumper. No reason to really change it unless you wanna do the fill 03-04 look. I would do 03 sides kits and rear though as well as mirrors. Everyone does the 03 front too the 99-01 had a special front end too no reason to change it really. The original looks good with a Mach chin.

The throttle position sensor looks broken too. (You found it) It does come with pretty much GT seats but if you look they took the running horse off 😞

I've had 8 including my current 07 gt500 from 89-07 but you got me beat as far as having owned a more broad range of years lol.

I would ditch the 01 front bumper and get the way better looking 03 04 Cobra bumper.
