Pls make villas with full compound wall in Aakulam. Without that the villa has no privacy. Neighbours pets r also a headache. Also during rainy seasons it'll make havoc. Gray n white colour combo shades looks nice. Excellent flat.

Despite any negative opinions circulating about this building, such as comparisons to Antilia or criticisms of its design as unsuitable for personal use, I firmly believe it has achieved iconic status. This is the pinnacle that all brands aspire to reach. And I think this building looks beautiful, apart from being iconic. Just as the Citroën 2CV is often dubbed the "ugliest car in the world," it remains instantly recognizable wherever it goes, unlike more conventional sedans and SUVs.
It's definitely not ugly, if you have seen it in real.

When Trivandrum builders visit Dubai to showcase their projects, most of the projects look similar because most of them depend on the same architects of TVM. Artec designs are different from the rest.
This project is inspired by ambanis house in Mumbai "antilia"or something
Maybe expensive , but for the heck of it...Per SFT use of concrete might jus be outrageous....A garish creation perhaps "ispired" by Antilia....

Kerala Real estate prices have fallen like anything ... especially land ...and constructed houses
Like Ambani'sAntilla (look up its photographs) has been called the ugliest building in the most prominent place in Mumbai, unfortunately this building facade, which is very similar to anitlla will be called the ugliest building in Trivandrum The basic problem with all these lego type box design is that the taller they are the more non descript (if not ugly) they look. The only time they look better is if lit up during night. Compare both day and night photographs of this building to see what I am saying. Secondly box type designs are good for offices and commercial offices, due to some reason they do not look good for residential projects.
It looks really elegant especially in the day time with the blend of the wood coloured grills and the green background thanks to tree cover of this area , I always travel close to it and I always try to admire it's elegance every single time . Agreed it's perspective, but majority like it

Lack of aesthetic sense and artistic depth seen all over the building design completely opposite to what the builder might have initially envisaged. First of all home is a place that gives one a sense of comfort,cozyness and feeling of belonging. It must evoke a sense of being, a sense of peace, a sense of liveliness and not ‘busyness’. The choice of vellayambalam junction is the last place a person would select for a home. Second, remember that the erstwhile king of travancore stays in a much secluded place amidst the forest and natural environment away from the kowdiar bustle, how can you call yourself the king's neighbour? It is more like a KING NEW BORE (short for boredom). Third, as many have already mentioned this is well inspired by Antilia and hence the question of prestige and heritage remains a distinct dream and people would just say tvm‘s antilia, nothing else ! Fourth the location is best for commercial space, office space or even a 3 star/5 star hotel. Fifth, the IAS officers chose a place in Jawahar nagar away from the kowdiar bustle, even the RBI quarters is well insulated from the road noise and bustle. Finally, the people who bought the flats (for stay)might be regretting in some years mainly for the location. It is both a boon (proximity) and bane ( traffic bustle and noise).
Relax , nobody cares about the once rulers of the city , they were just talking about how posh the locality is . And a site like this is present in every major City, the traffic, the hustle bustle everything but that doesn't stop ppl from buying luxurious apartments. ( Also there should be sound proofing in 8 Cr worth apartments for sure)
@@abhiramchand661 . Well there are people who care and who don't ! Listen to the builders statement and then comment. Personally I dont care if a king or ruler lived anywhere. The builder's eyes were sparkling with pride when he mentioned this point and he says that multiple times. Yes, there are buyers for any trash if you advertise brilliantly and get their mindshare. Afterall that's what capitalism demands. No amount of soundproofing can be a substitute for natural silence amidst the sounds of nature. This will be realized once the entire green cover is removed for concrete jungles. Just take a look at the proposed airports worldwide and you will see the importance of trees and plants within the structures. The comments were in response to builders statements. That's why I did give a definition of home. Ofcourse people may differ from my view, however I have a strong conviction that this structure will not stand the test of time both literally and figuratively 😊. A lost opportunity I repeat. B/w I see that you are an admirer of the building with your reply to many comments, and that's your take and I respect that. A deeper introspection could convey what I meant. Cheers
@@CallmeSJK I don’t think Trivandrum is a huge city like Bangalore where there are a lot of buildings, Trivandrum still has the greenery. If what you want is greenery and peace there are places like kattakkada amburi vithura etc…. But would you buy a home there ? I don’t thinks it’s anybody’s dream to buy a home where there is “only greenery “ but on the other hand vellayambalam is the best first priority site within the city …but there is no piece of land available there to build your own home (not by the road) especially places like jawahar nagar , if you know about tvm city you know this. It’s nothing about the king😅 …..close proximity to railway station, bus station airport, good hospitals, good schools colleges everything is important unless you are old an retired ( still hospital is important ) ....... And I am an admirer of the location than the building itself.😊

Have you seen the full video ?A builder is like the chef of a food before it is consumed by customers, his intention matters a lot if you know what I mean! B/w if accessibility is your forte, you can always build apartments a little inside. Doesnt have to be 10 feet from all these places you mentioned. Afterall the owners of these buildings will surely have vehicles owned! PS : i have spent most of my childhood days (in early 90‘s in tvm in kowdiar) and we have a house in vattiyoorkavu,. Hence I have seen how trivandrum has transitioned. I still stand by what I said. Very poor choice of residential location !
@@abhiramchand661. There are excellent locations between Vellayambalam and Thycaud and I have seen buildings being constructed. And remember , it is the venpalavattom ,kims , NH bypass(once the vizhinjamin open) that is going to be the most happening in years time and not vellayambalam or kowdiar. So what's the builder's case now? Bus stand , railway station all will be segregated like metro cities. A visionary builder would have considered a number of facts and the potential in future. Here his major intention was pride and people talking about it years later! You dont have to go to amboori or aruvikkara, a place untouched by the buzz(noise) yet accesibility like a breeze!
