I'm kind of thinking they use that poison that bowhunters use to use before it became illegal some places it may not be illegal I'm not sure but no matter where u hit a deer they are dead BUT I will say no matter what you use if you can double lung them they usually die but those darts are so small hard to think that they wouldn't clot up and take a long time to die or even live sometimes without the use of that poison but why would you put a poison near your mouth on a dart who knows guess if the blade is big enough it will do the job probably why they waited so long to go look for him give him hours to die with that little hole it didnt even go through a dove all the way I would never shoot a deer with that sometimes I don't get pass throughs with a 70lb bow at 35yrds and worry about penetration when you hit ribs and slows arrow down especially with this big expandable broadheads they don't get the best penetration think I'm going to a fixed 2 blade that I can re-sharpen every time long as I don't hit major bone and bend it so I can get complete pass throughs every time

I think you could greatly benefit by sacrificing 20 fps to run a heavier arrow, and strongly considering a quality single bevel broadhead like a tuff head or VPA. You will get a pass through on elk sized and smaller every time at virtually every angle, Ashby also explains why this is so important in lethality and total time for the animal to expire. This arrow combo has impressed the hell out of me compared to shooting things like you had explained already, I will note I wanted the same arrow flight and speeds as I would get with a low 500 grain 70lb set up so I went up to 82lb with a 650 grain arrow and it flys the same but Caries so much more momentum. I actualy have problems with finding arrows after full pass through now at hard quartering shots on deer and many other species.

My 5 year old son and I absolutely love your videos. I’m handicapped so we don’t get out as often as I wish we could but your videos help fill the gap! I think mine and his favorites are the blowgun videos though! I bought a slockmaster for myself and my son was obsessed with it so I got him a little 24 inch wire dart cheap blow gun and he’s already getting to be a solid shot! In a couple years he may be ready for a big bore of his own!!
Little late to the party, but if you ever get the chance, you should try hunting if you can. Its a great way to just be out in nature and enjoy yourself, and maybe get some free all natural dinner while you're at it. There's something magical about hunting that just can't be found anywhere else in the world, even if you walk out without taking anything or you miss a shot, or come in half frozen, soaked, scratched to heck and back from briar bushes, etc... Its just magical.
