@@thewhofan1964 thank you :) yeah it's brilliant! Less restrictive than a bag but more air-tight than a quilt. It also attaches to my sleeping mat which is handy. :)
Im heading to Kinder next week for a wildcamp. Hope the weather and views are just as good (although i prefer the north edge...less people about). Glad i came across your vids, looking forward to more 👍
Its a great leg workout walking up Grindslow Knoll with a full pack😂One of may favorite places to camp is the Woopacks...... so many weirdly shaped rocks, it looks almost like an alien landscape. It gets very busy at weekends though. Look forward to seeing where you choose for your next camp👍
Ye, that Vegan Orzo causes terrible wind...lol (j/k) I love the Firepot Porcini Mushroom but never put enough water in, think they are pretty stodgy all the same. Great camp young lady and nicely put together. atb Alan
Great vid, new subscriber.. Enjoyed the video, altho I have a sneeky suspicion you wasn't alone, which isn't a bad thing, looked like someone was holding the camera on a few shots. Looking forward to seeing the channel grow.
@@Outaboutdetecting you'd be correct in that suspicion! I'm working up to solo camps☺️ my friend isn't keen on being on video (which I completely understand to be fair, it is funny putting yourself out there!). Thank you for your comment 😊
It holds up well from my experience, but it can be loud with the flapping (as with most tents I guess), but I'd deffo be pegging it fully out to reduce flapping when it's really windy! :)
Lovely video and well done on a fairly tough hike. I find that a little windshield (or your rucksack) helps to boil the water faster and saves gas. Happy trails.
Great video, new subscriber, hope you watch your channel and adventures grow 😁 I will have to live vicariously through you as unable to do this anymore after ending up in a wheelchair ...lol 😛
You have good kit , I know it wasn't cheap, but if you get the little flextail pump it will blow up your sleep mat, and give you a tent lantern that is rechargeable and lighter than that one you have... nice video. Take care out there.
@@OutdoorGirlUK apparently you can only really use their footprint because it's such a weird shape I looked into it lol. But I took the standard shipping and it come really quickly. no taxes. definitely think it's a cool thing to have ! seen the new dome thing they released ?
They are Blueberries looking at the size and colour. Bilberries are much darker and smaller in size and Blueberries have that slight whiteish coating to their skin and also grow well amongst Heather. I wouldn't recommend pitching on top of loose peaty soil like that in the future - could've been a nightmare if you'd had heavy rain.

What is the difference between “wild camping” and “camping”?
