Been touring with bigger bikes on my 350 classic for a couple of years now. Away from motorways it’s absolutely fine. All day comfortable, remarkably economical and utterly charming to ride. Done Spain to Normandy, tour of Brittany, tour of northern France and John O Groats to Lands End, no issues at all. 13,000 miles so far, loosened up after 3000 miles. This one will be with me for years.
Sounds like some amazing tours! You're absolutely right about the motorway stuff though. Glad you're loving the classic, especially after all them miles 👍
@ forgot to add I’ll be getting a R.E classic 350 soon. I’m 60 now, in my life I’ve owned many, many bikes and covered getting on for 500,000 miles, I now want something, simple, comfortable, reliable and with character, I think the classic 350 fits the bill perfectly as living in North Yorks and being a keen photographer I want to be able to stop wherever I want and take photos, not always possible to stop in a car on the small roads we have up here! All the best, ride safe and don’t get carried away when riding in groups of bikes, I know too well it’s easy to get carried away, lol. 👏👍😀🏍
Just found your channel mate. I have two Enfields plus an old pan. I used to live in Bedfordshire now in Cornwall. I love the roads around Kimbolton area. I do have you tube as well. How do you get on with screen i am thinking about getting one for my classic
Oh blimey, not far from me at all. Yes some lovely roads around here, although I'm sure you have even better roads where you're now. I get on with the screen really well. Although I'm only 5ft 8. So not sure how it would be if you were taller. What enfields do you have?
Hi mate Brit immigrant to France chrome red classic rider, great road bud spot on ride I’ve got 8k + km up on mine run in carefully and will hold 100kph all day even 2 up with luggage, perfect around here on D roads and the odd rout national, even a autorout on a good day, looks like you had a good trip 👍 Pete🇫🇷 PS the motor doesn’t really loose up and come into its own until you have 2500km up 😊
Hi mate, I must admit the chrome red classic has to be one of the best of the 350 classic colours, looks stunning. Thanks for the info mate 👍 hope you're enjoying it in france 😊
Castle Donnington superbike store is better also a long way round to see the Peak District, the Peak District is in my backyard so confused about the route planning, but you did cover some of the better roads
I will have to check out that superbike store next time 👍 I think we did that route just to accommodate places we needed to go. Have you an ideal order you would do the route in?

Your little Bullet did remarkably well. Well done! Ride safe.
Cheers mate 👍
Comfortably do 65/70. 75mph sometime 👍 but that's after 1500miles of gentle running in
On a big bike it's boringly easy. To ride 'progressively' on a smaller bike you have to be more skilled and smooth, is all ;^)
You're absolutely right!!

Is there such a thing as a good superbike factory ?
@pggp273 to be honest I've never used one, but seemed decent if you want to look at a wide range of bikes
