I know you like the white paintjob, but have you considered adding window trim? it makes a substantial difference in the way the bodies look. after painting, take an exacto blade and trim about an 1/8 of an inch off the the window mask, give a quick blast of black, then peel the rest of the mask
Have you tried the avid steering arms? My brother tried them and they are good for tighter cornering that doesn't lose rear grip. Good for our track that has a lot of 90-180 degrees turns
Hey great Video. I just did the laydown conversion and moved the rear shocks and tower forward. I wanted to know what ride height do you run. I run at SDRC.
Hey Jason, first off thanks for the great review as always. I've noticed at my track all of the guys running this b6d have converted to the schelle rear hubs with losi axles. Do you have any experience with this modification and what it does for performance?
Nice review - I have a few questions if you don't mind? What part number is the yokomo rear Spring you are running and did you alter the shock package oils and Pistons at all when making the change between laydown and stand up. Will you be looking to change to the laydown towers at any point?
My B6D is pretty good. The only thing I "hate" about this car is the fact that I can bend the rear ball stud mount almost on command. Being the fact that it seems to be machined really thin where it mounts on the plastic block at the back of the car. It has become so much of a problem that I check it after every run, and I find most of the time it is bent. Granted i'm not out killing it.....these are pretty easy laps with the occasional bobble. Any input on this?
Jason can you do a video on chassis protectors - are they worth it and do they affect performance? I'm guessing pros don't use them because they can just get new chassis for free... EDIT: oops, I saw you did a vid. on chassis protectors - would still like to know what/if the pros are using though. Also, have you tried using skateboard grip tape as a chassis protector?
some pros use custom printed ones. griptape doesnt make too much sense because you would have a lot of friction when your Chassis touches the ground which will slow you down. you can just use some thicker stickers, thats what the racers i know in germany do...
Depends in the surface, right. I'm running all my classes without protectors, 1/10 scale 2wd aswell as 1/8 scale buggy. They are race chassis, so i dont care that much...
Why do you think team associated didn't just come out and offer it as a champion edition for a few bucks more? It seems to be that people are just getting both transmissions any ways and throwing the ball diff in the lay down . Curious if you are going to try it with the gull wing arms too?
You want subscribers but you don’t answer alot of the time to the guys questions???? If you say your too busy shut up shop mate its pointless putting out advice if you can’t help all these guys.....yes?? Your not the only one that does this its a shame cos there’s a hell if alot guys like myself that want advice only for you to ignore them, bloody annoying! 😡😡😡 Are you sponsored by MIP by the way??
You drove the car solid - tight on the pipe and looked good in the air.
Awesome Video Jason. And very nice Driving.

I'm jealous of his ultimate warrior t shirt, lol
i came down here to comment specifically about that
If it isn't too much of a hassle for you, I'd like to ask if you could do a review on the team associated battery weights when you get a chance
I race the same way as the last driver! And I’m right handed too lol
Great video!! You mentioned you would post a setup sheet. Is that posted somewhere? Thanks!

I'm sad that leisure hours' track closed.

Can you make a B6D vs B5M video, please?
Your videos are awesome!

fromage 420 Well, vinyl may actually produce more friction than grip tape depending on the surface.

+fromage 420 which surfave tracks do you run?
fromage 420 Will be SCVRC mostly I think, so indoor clay-ish?
hey Jason, I have reedy esc 800z and 17.5 motor what pinion should I use for ocrc ?
ED MA I would recommend using a pinion chart from the web. keep an eye on the temps
Alloy C Block ? Looks like Brass to me ?
Brass is an alloy (copper and zinc)
I don't know if this is possible but could you make front axles such as titanium and other titanium products?
ASC 91683 FT B6 FT Titanium Front Axles (2)
Thanks Mark Brown

Because the b6 line hasn't won a championship, yet ;)
+Connor I should have stated " like the champion edition "
+Benjamin Barrett oh sorry haha
B6 has won the Euros and the BRCA Nats, so it does have two significant titles to its name already. ;)
+Felix Rigby I forgot about euros I only keep up with dirt, I dont know why. I guess I'm just a dirt fanboy lol.
what tires would you recommend for 2wd buggy on clay?
i would run what ever other people hve found out that works best
Raw Speed!
Daniel Hodson I have a lot of success with black dirt webs by Jc. My track is low traction and they seem to work the best
